We have a caravan on the site opposite this takeaway and have used it a number of times this season. Some of our choices have been outstanding.....the crispy chilli beef was the best we’ve ever eaten by far, chicken, green peppers in black bean sauce was excellent. Some were very good....the salt and pepper assortment box was very nice , more than enough for two people. Some just needed a little something extra .....the mixed meat special curry was well cooked , plenty of huge king prawns but needed to be spicier for out tastes. Some dishes were very strange... the special fried rice was weird, not at all what we’re used to, the meat and the very lightly fried rice came in separate containers and although there was plenty of well cooked meat it was very different in a not necessarily good way. Finally the chips.....think they’re frozen , possibly even oven chips and we’ve eaten a lot better. Will we come back...absolutely. It’s convenient ,fast food and we’ll just be selective about what we’re ordering

So put in a big order Wednesday 09/11/2020 for five people with side dishes also, not at a busy time but around 20:30 ish so no need to rush, quality should be great !!!100% this get a prize for the worst Chinese food ever, Sorry I won't say that as that is an insult to the People of China who would no way want to be associated with this place!So to the food, every sauce in every dish like water, no flavor seems terrified to use spice and chillies, one dish was "hot" beef curry, more like meat in Bisto, except Bisto has more of a kick.What a rip-off never again, you should be so ashamed to call yourself a Chinese Chef "Shame On This Place" for mugging people.

We have our own caravan just down the road from this place and we always used Hong Kong city before it closed down last year whenever we came up and I was devastated as Chinese is my favourite and this was the closest and the best around. I was delighted to find out it had re/opened a couple of months back with new management and we’ve just been to try it out, not expecting much but WOW....... Hands down and without a doubt the best Chinese I’ve ever had! Even knocks my local back home out of the park and it’s safe to say I’ll definitely be a regular here when I’m around. The food was delicious, I can vouch for the salt and pepper everything (I’m a little obsessed) and my partners food, well he wiped his plate clean and that’s not a regular thing for him. What made it even better was the lovely lady who served us, long dark hair tied back, she was so friendly and polite! Not often you get good customer service these days but she was brilliant. She certainly went above and beyond and for that and the delicious food (hats off to the chef), we rate this place Very highly! 1000000000 out of 10

We camped right by this place last weekend and decided to get a takeaway, considering we were on our holidays. This was the closest Chinese and we thought you cant go wrong with a special fried rice...We were wrong. Not even exaggerating, this was the worst Chinese (never mind fried rice) that I’ve ever had in my life. It came in a tub literally separated down the middle with half meat, half rice and it was all soaked in some horrible tangy sauce. The rice was not like any rice I’ve ever had before. The chicken was so bland and rubbery, the prawns were definitely not cooked, the beef (if that’s what it was) was very greasy and the char Sui looked a funky colour. I literally had about 3 little nibbles and launched it all in the bin. I also ordered a portion of spring rolls, but they do their own KING Spring Roll, which is just 1 massive “spring roll”. When I bit into it, it was literally just filled with about 20 bean sprouts and the odd tiny bit of char Sui. Also wasn’t very nice and I certainly wouldn’t call it a spring roll. I always feel really bad giving negative feedback, but if I’d have read the reviews before getting the food, I certainly wouldn’t have gone here. Hopefully improvements are made for the future and good luck to anyone that decides to eat here, but we certainly won’t be going back.

A good Chinese. The beef in black bean sauce is good (as suggested by others).We were nearly put off by the average rating, but the lower scores are a few years old; so ignore them. Pleased we tried it. It might be a high three to four star ranking in China Town, London or when set against the finest restaurants. However, all factors considered, and for a take away Chinese, it deserves five stars. Would happily visit again.

Went here as its convenient across the road from where I just purchased a caravan. First thoughts is what a strange set up with bracelets and things for sale in the counter top heater where you normally see pies, sausages, fish, prawn crackers bagged and ready!! Ordered chips, special chow mein and barbecue ribs in sauce. The chips looked like oven chips that had been deep fried and over cooked (went in the bin), the ribs not the best in a grey looking salty sauce (ate them because I was starving), special chow mein you can not go wrong with......can you? To be fair wasn't too bad but not the best and I was starving so ate it! Sorry to say but I needed 2 toilet trips today when I am normally a regular once a day for no2. Will not go back here ever unless changes owner! Shame really as if it was good I would use this place a lot next summer!

La tienda es un poco extraño. . En algún momento. Fue una tienda de chips. Pero estaba limpio y el personal amable. La tienda también vende algunas interesantes antigüedades y curiosidad! !Todos pedimos platos distintos. Algunos eran diferentes a lo que hemos tenido de nuestros llevar chino, dicho esto todos disfrutamos de nuestra comida. Un miembro realmente disfrutamos de sus alubias negras de carne. Los platos de dulce y agria no contenía verduras, comida de mi esposa era básicamente sabroso pollo en salsa dulce y amarga.Las patatas fritas eran una interesante sombra! ! ! Jajajapero lo recomendaría si se hospeda cerca

We decided to have a last night treat,the curry was tasteless and the chicken was no where to be found the fish was off when fish tastes strong and smelly it's off for sure and the crispy duck over done no taste and it doesn't like a duck or taste like one! Please stay away this place should be closed down straight away.

Siempre doy mi opinión sincera, y me encanta la comida china, pero!Yo estaba tan decepcionado?La comida es insípida y no sabor,Mi pelotas de pollo parecía un color precioso, pero por dentro estaba como un guiso pasada que significaba que no podía comer,el dulce n amarga era de color rosado muy! ! Y carece de cualquier sabor Gloopy,mi esposa tenía la carne chow mein y después de sólo comer dos piezas de carne decidido algo estaba mal y todo fue a la basura.Nunca nos han dejado una comida china Ir al despilfarro y no ha sido tan lejos hubiera sido volver en protesta.Así que me siento a escribir una crítica tan pobre como el servicio fue muy agradable y parecía que la gente es muy agradable.Tal vez hubiera tratado el asunto nos vuelto?Por eso me dio 3 estrellaspero has sido advertido!

One of the best Chinese places to go! Every meal we've had there has been lovely! We will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely chineses, delivered on time and hot. The only downside was the lemon chicken was over cooked and chewy and the pork was also over cooked, but considering we had over 9 meals they did I well.

We had a few lovely family meals from here. The food was excellent, staff were friendly. Didn't have to wait long.

Nos estábamos hospedando en ty gwyn Parque al otro lado de la forma, así que pensamos en probar este "fish and chips", no creo que me quedaría aquí de nuevo. Me dieron el especial de curry, no tenía sabor. La carne sabía quemados. El lugar en sí estaba un poco sucio por dentro, y en vez de ser comida en las estaciones más cálidas que tenían de punto para la venta teddy's. Así que terminamos yendo chippy bajando la calle que era mucho mejor y más limpio.

We had Ribs in bbq sauce it was Dark Brown Salted dry hard meat so hard you could not even eat itWe Had duck pancake rolls Dark Brown Salted fillingWe Had Special Chow mein Dark Brown Salted yukWe Had Sechaen Prawns spicy but drowned in Dark Brown Salted sauceAbsolutely disgusting It was a salt Overdose. also you could not get those fresh smells of the wok in use the garlic the onions the peppers etc. nor could you hear it being cooked..( you know that sound!) they took ages. I seriously suspect it was re heated from the freezer.

Never have I ever been to such a weird chippy in my life they were selling furniture in the shop and they were also selling teddy bears in the oven the shop worker could not even speak English and the chips and rice were not really cooked as the chips where hard.

Nunca en mi vida he visto dulce y amargo cantonés como - crujiente con pollo en salsa de tomate como sopa - asqueroso habría siendo un terrible sin embargo patatas estaban muy bien y el servicio al cliente bueno

Just as the title says, tasteless and insipid. I ordered a chicken and king prawn curry with egg fried rice, and while the rice looked ok, the curry was a greenish grey colour, and looked for all the world like blended sage and onion stuffing mix! No heat or flavour here, perhaps that is how the locals prefer it? I did try and eat the curry despite the off putting colour, but it tasted of nothing. Can't recommend I'm afraid.

Me and my Fiancee came here for food to take back to eat for my mum and us staying in our caravan we was hiring. We had to wait 35 minutes for our food...we was starving and all this waiting was doing our heads in, we felt like spare parts just hanging around for our food. Eventually after our 35 minute wait we rushed back with our food to our caravan and eaten our food it was delicious, really was very good food! However it was a tad bit pricey then what we would normally pay for our Chinese food back home at our regular takeaway. I had Sweet and sour Cantonese style beef with chips, my Mums had crispy beef in OK sauce with boiled rice and my Fiancee had chicken balls in curry sauce with noodles. I'd maybe try this place again or look to see where else there is to try for Chinese food next time.

Stayed at ty mawr caravan park and passed this Chinese on the way so on our last evening the four of us decided to get a takeaway, big mistake, the shop it's self is a disgrace with keyrings hand made jewellery and a car statue in the oldChippy stand, then what appeared to be a Carboot on one side of the waiting area after waiting almost half an hour for our food we didn't have high expectations but the food was absolutely disgusting the hot and spicy soup was watery with not much taste, the egg fried rice was dry and tasteless, the szwechan sauce was not szwechan at all and just tasted of gravy with the meat that was supposedly chicken looking like tiny strips of god knows what, the BBQ ribs seemed to of been made from the same disgusting gravy and extra fat, overall I would definitely recommend people go elsewhere you wouldn't give this food to the dog let alone eat it yourself £32 for four people and it all ended up in the bin!

I have read the previous reviews and think the chinese must have bucked up their ideas, as we like our chinese food and i am quite (okay, very) picky. We had Egg Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style, Beef Chow Mein, Lemon chicken and Chips and I could not fault it, it was delicious, the prawn crackers were even lovely. Will definitely be back when we return next year.

Food was terrible special chow mein we binned,ate the crispy duck but not tasty and the deep fried salt/pepper chicken well didn't see any chicken.batter hard as rock nearly broke my tooth,don't waste your money sorry but got to be honest.

Had a takeaway, food was ok but nothing special. Meal for 4 people was £26.05. I asked why 05p when nothing on the mnu ended with a 5p and they said it was the welsh carrier bag charge. Thing was, I didn't have a bag, they put it in a cardboard box! I obviously refused to pay the 5p. On holiday here so wouldn't have gone back anyway but even if I was a local, I wouldn't rush back.

Very close to holiday park ty mawr food is ok family run business not to over pricey but food is very westernised if u know what I mean
