Hong Kong Chinese Food Bar in Glasgow City

Service was good, girl was lovely but food was rancid! Beef curry "with onion" there was 3 slices of onion and about 4/5 slithers of beef. Curry sauce was like water. It was terrible.

Can’t fault them from what we have ordered so far. I’m actually in the hospital my son got salt n pepper chicken balls and a chicken chow MEIN.got a problem though we stay in Clydebank so when I get out hospital I won’t be able to get them again we’ve had them 3 times . Chinese we use is amazing but chicken balls are really doughy inside but taste wise lovely. Now after tasting Hong Kong’s I don’t want to go back to usual one just want to say thank you staff on fone very helpful 10/10 from Helen n Daniel

Ordered beef curry snack box think at most I got 4 small pieces of beef a joke.

Called to ask for something with no sauce as I forgot to put a note on just eat when putting my order in. I was told it was already being made I said it won’t be able to be eaten wile still trying to explain because of allergy’s and I was cut off with ok sorry about that bye bye and the phone been put down. Disgusting customer service

Best takeaway anywhere. Have been a customer for years since back and consistent with quality and value. Real food compared to the ‘biggies’. First time here, best chinese in Govan! They do homemade onion rings not the cheap ones from farmfood. Rich thick curry sauce, defo will be back 😋

Piping hot curry, love the kick to the salt & pepper chips. Delivery was quick and friendly drivers.

Ordered food for home delivery, never again Sweet & Sour chicken balls and chip, never again. Chips hard as only half cooked, chicken balls soggy and under cooked and tasteless and nor sure what they tried to pass off as Sweet and sour sauce but wrong colour for a start

Got a plain chow main and smelt,tasted like chlorine fried rice was dry chicken balls were ok although the chicken was dry and the batter was fine and the curry sauce was like water one good thing is the staff are nice and shop was quite clean

Got a chicken schezwan last night chicken was rubbery and no taste from it salt and pepper chips were OK as we're onion rings boiled rice was lumpy so my schwan and rice went in bin don't know if chef is different on a Friday as normally good on a Saturday waste of £18.50 won't be ordering again schezwan was full of onions and peppers and very little chicken but was horrible

Got a set meal for one beef curry and b/rice there was 6bits of beef in it and b/rice was half full one spring roll 10.50

Delivery after telephone order was extremely quick. Food was still hot. Delicious. Portions were very generous.

Only 6 chicken wings and the smallest amount of salt and pepper! Chicken balls and again very small amount of salt and pepper! Egg foo yung very dry and an extremely small portion! Overpriced and bland. Not anywhere near as good as it was in the past! Dragon City, Ocean Palace and Mei Xin are the only decent takeaways in the area. Delivery Driver not the most pleasant.

Couple of meals down the road and only gets worse,bland tasteless,and not worth a penny,doesn't deserve the one star,ordered a chicken fried rice and got it,boiled chicken and tasteless rice never again

They do a cracking 'long tray' of chicken curry. 😋

Just ordered a munchie box and the usual curry from here. Munchie box was absolutely ruined drowned in salt, terrible.

Don't order the onion rings. Used to use this takeaway regularly when I lived in the area but was disappointed tonight. Curry was OK but they are charging full price for frozen onion rings instead of using real onions like they used to. Extremely disappointed

Food was absolutely delicious, appropriately spiced. The portion size was great for the price. Definitely a go-to place

I given a 3 star because I think it would be a satisfactory meal if you get what you ask for however on at least 3 occasions I've asked for chicken fried rice and it's come with gravy and when I've pointed out the mistake the lady at the counter or on the phone becomes very defensive and even a little aggressive part of the govan charm I guess and yet it continues I guess I'll just stay clear if the older blond lady is working
