I’ve been to this noodle shop many times. The food is above average, but 9 times out of 10, the dish I want to order is either unavailable or sold out. I always end up having to choose something else. I gave them some feedback, like asking if they could update the availability of items—similar to how on Deliveroo or Uber Eats, you can see if something is sold out before you order. I also suggested they better prepare their ingredient quantities or have a way for customers to check what’s sold out. But the boss called me and questioned me about how they’re supposed to prepare better. That kind of attitude toward customer feedback means I’ll never go back to this place again.

Tasty food and good portion size. Although today it was very busy within the food mall, we were served by a female member of staff from Hong Kong Boy Noodles, who was very patient, helpful and friendly. This includes processes from providing clear guidance on getting our seats which was very useful for us, especially because we have not been to here before. She took our orders at the entrance of the room and food came relatively promptly after we got our seats. Thank you so much🤩🤩

The soup and food were quite good, especially the chili oil. However, the wait for the soup noodles was a bit lengthy—approximately 30 minutes. If you're planning to try the soup noodles, be prepared for a wait of around half an hour.

Since there were no dine-in restaurants a few years ago, my family asked me to place an order via WhatsApp, and then the boss sent it out. I had dine-in food at Yi's, and they also put out a lot of other items. The D beef brisket was so delicious! They haven't moved yet, and I won't be working at Manchester City for the next three or four months before the surgery. I went to eat there many times tonight, and the brisket was so good! Unexpectedly, the bowl of beef brisket noodles that came with a purchase of over thirty pounds was so real and the bowl was so big. Thank you boss. I hope Hong Kong Boy will flourish when it opens a new store. Waiting for us to have delicious beef brisket and hand-made beef balls!

Because I ordered it for takeout, I can’t comment on the eating environment. But this restaurant can turn tables 😍 We ordered beef tendon rice noodles in clear soup, fish and bean curd spring rolls, and beef brisket in clear soup. They were all delicious! I reheated it at home and ate it. The soup base was not oily, the beef brisket and tendon were in small pieces but not chewy, the hot sauce was delicious, and the boss was nice! Basically, everything was impeccable.

the spicy taste is great but the toppings are just so-so… should be back again for the spicy bit but sadly they will close after Feb.

I ate barbecued pork rice, beef brisket noodles, clean beef brisket, and clean beef tendon Although the barbecued pork rice is not exactly the flavor of a barbecue restaurant, There is a little bit of family flavor, but everything is delicious The beef brisket is on the thin side and a little on the salty side, but both are delicious. The noodles are delicious Beef tendon is delicious and tasty

It is not recommended to eat satay beef rice, what you will get is a small bowl of minced beef juice.

I went to this food court alone today and found that there were a lot of people and I had to wait in line. But there are many delicious foods in the venue, and all kinds of different foods are on sale. I chose the beef brisket soup and lemon iced tea, which was very delicious.

It has already helped him when he first opened his business. When he first came to visit Li Media City, he visited Li Media City every day. Seeing that his business was slowly expanding made him happy because they were really good friends. I remember one time he sent Li Media City to Li Media City but he missed it. The one on the left is rapeseed. I told him that I would get an immediate refund of the money. Although he was very busy after that, he went there several times and the boss always came out of the parking lot to compare with me. The service 💯 But I think it tasted better before 🫣, although it’s not bad at all

This place is busy, maybe the most busy in all of the ghost kitchens. It's good for sure, not the best I have tasted but certainly one of the top HK noodle places in Manchester. Prices are acceptable although not cheap. They used slow cooked beef ribs, tender and yummy. Only complaint is their soup base not that great and the wait times can be crazy. In my opinion it's good but perhaps a bit overrated

At first, the quality was good after several orders, but more and more people know that the quality drops after many people eat it.

I saw a lot of people asking for it, so I ordered to try it. When I placed my order, I had to wait for 45 minutes, but I waited for an hour and a half... The beef brisket was so good that it was both thick and salty! In fact, for this kind of food, we usually prepare the ingredients early in the morning, but it is not reasonable to wait so long, and the quality of the food is very disappointing.

First class service very nice But the fish balls and ink balls are very fine. The Hong Kong tangerine peel fish balls are very fine💀💀💀 The taste is good, but the price-performance ratio is far from what it was when it first opened its store. When they first opened the shop, the fish eggs were so big 㗎🥹 The soup base was more fragrant and the quality was lower than before. I wonder why it was such a good business. I'm embarrassed to give two stars, but I have to do it anyway

Food is good, however the place for eating is just ok.

The last time I had the noodles, I felt that the bowl of noodles was not hot enough. This time I had the soup. It was indeed a top-notch dish. The beef brisket and tendon were both delicious. I definitely drank the soup.

I ordered a bowl of spicy rice noodles with barbecued pork and cuttlefish balls. Soup base: It's spicy enough, but it doesn't feel numb, and it's not the same as coriander or peanuts. Rice noodles: Comparing the rice noodles, it seems that the rice noodles are not of such good quality and are not cooked well enough. 餸: Barbecued pork and cuttlefish balls are not compromised, and the portion is sufficient. The problem is that there are no other spicy soup base ingredients (lettuce, silver sprouts), and it is only garnished with small fried pig skins. Conclusion: Based on a spicy and sour soup, the soup tastes good, but the price-performance ratio of the bowl of rice is low; or you will be happy if you try the Cantonese noodles that are the main specialty of Fanqu Dibenli. Ordered a low mapo spicy rice noodle with 2 side dishes: Chinese BBQ Pork and Cuttlefish Ball. Soup: Tasty spicy soup but not mapo taste, moreover cannot find any coriander and peanuts in the soup (which can be found in a Hong Kong mapo rice noodle); Rice Noodle: Too soft, I guess the rice noodles was cooked for a long time and the quality was not good enough; Side Dish: Chinese BBQ Pork and Cuttlefish Ball are so far so good, with enough quantity, however cannot find the expected side dishes, such as bean sprout and Iceberg lettuce in the soup, only a little pork rinds. Conclusion: It is nice to taste the spicy soup, however it is not valuable after combining all other factors. Maybe having a try on the other Hong Kong style noodle / rice noodle will be better.

Brilliant food! The staffs are friendly and the take away packed nicely. The only thing that needs to be improve is the atmosphere. The dinning area is a food court, and it is quite small. I was unable to get a table as it was full and alot of customers were waiting. I decided to takeaway after waiting for awhile. If you don't want to wait for along time, prefer to have dinner instead of lunch. Or just takeaway.

Found this hidden gems in Manchester. I was looking for a comfy foods for my son before his photo shoot. And this was only 1 min away!! If only they have a high chair would be nice. The owners were lovely too and foods+drinks so delicious. Definitely will come back when we visit Manchester. Parking is a bit tight but you can park surrounding areas. Mainly is for takeaway.

This is the street and comfort food we have in Hong Kong. Brings back the taste and memories. In my opinion the food here is even better than what we find in Hong Kong. Highly recommended you give it a try.

Taste is okay however the portion is much smaller than before Especially the soup is even one third full of that before Not worth the price cause it’s like food court no waiters you need to go order it yourself

Taste of Hong Kong most famous cuisine. Fish balls, meat balls and beef brisket are all delicious with noodle or rice. There is a dining area outside where you can enjoy your food, but need to clear the table yourselves.

I am sorry but this restaurant is way overrated by hkers. It is good that we have some hong kong food in manchester but this restaurant do not worth this rating on google map. The secret sauce flavoured noodles was not good at all, there are barely any flavour in it and has a weird sour taste in it. The beed briskets are good though, soft and flavourful. The morning glory’s flavour was not strong enough. We also had the spicy fishball, it is called ghost spice buy it is not spicy to me at all… Quite disappointed especially when people give such high ratings and with all the good reviews on Facebook blah blah blah. Will not order again with this price.

The best Hong Kong food I can find in the UK. Owner is very attentive to details and make perfect food. Price is decent, recommend satay beef, beef brisket, black pepper beef.

Amazing Hong Kong specialty food! Probably even better than many others in Hong Kong nowadays. Recommendation: beef meatballs, beef brisket and tendon, spicy fish balls. Although dining area is shared and limited, hopefully a proper restaurant will be opened soon. Looking forward!

Very nice and authentic food and very decent price! Beef brisket and fish balls are very good. Noodle is very chewy and tasty and authentic. Essentially you can choose either soup noodle or dry noodle and pick the ingredient that comes with it (beef brisket/ fish ball/ beef ball/ char siu). The iced milk tea comes in a bottle and it's very rich in flavor. I think it is cheaper if you order directly from the owner in person. Around £8-9 for a bowl of noodle. Definitely will visit again! The only thing is there is not much seats available, and noodle always tastes better when it's still warm.

Came across a post on Facebook talking about this shop. Originally wanted to try out merely wanted to support HKers. Turned out to be exceptionally great food. Delivered frozen to your door and it tastes nothing like anywhere else in the UK. Authentic yet affordable food. Even the pickiest person in my family asked me to order again…. Try them… it won’t go wrong!

Extraordinary. One word to start this story off. I've been here twice already since I learnt "Hong Kong Boy Takeaway" from a Facebook group, I was totally blown away by how much effort they put into making genuine nice quality Hong Kong Style food, the heartfelt act on bringing the unique cuisine to the city of Manchester, I am absolutely flattered to share these gorgeous photos of the food I tried, truthfully love every other dish a lot! Extra Hot Spicy sauce fishballs, mushroom & rice vermicelli soup, beef brisket in clear broth with thick noodles, Shanghai spring onion oil noodles served with dried shrimps, Typhoon Shelter Style noodles served with BBQ Pork. These lovely dishes share one spectacular thing in common, they bring out the best tastes/ flavours from the amazing composition of fresh ingredients and looks fabulous up close in my own eyes, not to mention, looked even better under the lens of phone camera. Without hesitation, I would introduce my family, friends and colleagues at work to try this Hong Kong style Kitchen. You certainly will be missing out a lot if you are not interested in this. Really delicious and authentic Hong Kong style noodles, I ordered the beef flank and fish balls with thick dry noodles mixed with scallion, oil and soup (combo as requested in advance) and a bbq pork with thin dry noodles mixed with scallion, oil, and oyster sauce. Highly recommend!!!

Presently sporting a presence on Facebook, and accepting telephone orders, Hong Kong Boy seems to have quickly garnered good reviews, and many new customers by online / word of mouth recommendation especially amongst the ethnic Chinese community. Although it is not a restaurant, and is housed in a small kitchen in the Ghost Kitchens complex, the food is justifiably good - and a taste of Hong Kong. Customer service is also quite friendly & efficient too ! However, for now it seems, the menu is in Chinese only - hopefully an English version will appear soon, opening up a far larger customer base to taste Hong Kong Boy's delightful food ! My companion purchased a beef with noodles (£8.50 at June 2022) for her lunch - at 8pm the previous day (picture below) !
