Great little bar in the heart of Oxton have a wide ranhe of different ales/spirits and the staff are always top notch and polite.

First time visit, nice beer selection. Barman very helpful in recommendations for beer. Very busy at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Will visit again.

At the time of my visit they didn't have any real ale on sale but they did have two German lagers on offer and some craft beers. The beer that I chose turned out to be a wheat beer which might confuse some customers as it is naturally and quite rightly cloudy.

Barmaid is really friendly and they have a good choice of beers. It's a bustling place, but we managed to get a table. We only stayed for 1 round as there were a group of blokes at the end of the bar that were being really noisy. Such a shame as I'd have liked to have gone through the beer menu but we couldn't hear each other speak (from across our table) due the hideous noise coming from the opposite end of the pub.

Bit of a local for me, small with not a lot of seating. Minimisical decor, but friendly with good staff. Good selection of continental beers some are expensive. As a real ale drinker I would like more than one cask on the hand pull, but that is just me.

Love this place, Mike and Alex are excellent bartenders and very knowledgeable. If you find something in their bottle shop over the road they will get them for you to drink in the bar too.

A great selection of tap and bottled beers, they only serve bar snacks rather than food. The atmosphere is always friendly and it is popular with locals. One attraction for the locals, is the fact it is dog friendly, so you can combine a Sunday walk and a Sunday pint!

Great little quirky bar in the heart of Oxton village. Always has an eclectic mix of small batch beers and gins on stock, with home made pastries to boot. No TV, and no music. It's all about conversation and good beer.

Lovely porters and stouts. Very nice settings. Can be Very cold in winter. (Jeeez fellas, sort that one please!) Somewhat cramped when seating is full. Recommended though.

Nice selection of beers here. It's not cheap at all but like that they sell 2/3 pints here. Staff very friendly and helpful.
