Visited here last week and all I can say is WOW! Ordered the Hot American boy!Very flavoursome,good value for money and very friendly staff. Couldn’t recommend more,will 100% be going back 10/10

Wanted to like this place so bad but it’s just not great. Very stingy on the hot honey dip for the price. Pizza was just ok. Can’t lie, leopards pie in Worsley blows it out of the water. A very dry, flavourless pizza. Appreciate it’s not for me but if someone was to ask, I’d say a 3.5/10

Had a great Pizza here tonight a veggie pizza and a pepperoni and chorizo absolutely delicious. The young lady serving us was excellent very friendly and knew how to make us feel at home as 1st time visitors. Will definitely visit again. It was a really lovely evening I am so glad we discovered the little restaurant upstairs. A small restaurant but very nice decor. £45 for two big pizzas and bottle of red wine. That was a fair price for what we had.

Recently got delivery, unfortunately half the order was cold and also incorrect. (Additional information added) To clarify, I rang in advance to ask if I could swap items and was told that it was fine. In the order online I asked for two ingredients removed (as I am intolerant) and chicken to be added, the website doesn't allow you to add things and pay extra and assumed I would be phoned or asked for extra payment or extra chicken ignored which i thought would be fair enough. When the food arrived I assumed I got the wrong order because the ingredients I asked to be removed were still there. I called to clarify and the man I spoke to was unnecessarily rude about it, hence the review. They must have thought I was trying to trick them out of some chicken because that is how I spoken to. I realise they must have been under alot of pressure that evening to respond this way, and still feel stressed to further respond to this review with a similar tone. Also it was in fact cold in the middle.

Look no further for a great Gluten Free base much nicer than some other places I could mention. I had the Meaty Boy on a gluten free 12inch base which was amazing. The gluten free bases are pre made by their Italian supplier and the taste is "well, very very tasty". My hubby had a normal 14inch base Kung Hei Fat Boy which he said was the best pizza he has had. We both couldn't finish it so we ate it the next day and it tasted even more amazing. We will definitely come here again for our next pizza.

Absolutely love this place! Dominos has nothing on these guys. Pizzas are amazing, think I've gone through the whole menu. Favs include - Olivio boy + Fungi boy, fries are also bangin. Habanero honey dip is the one 👌

Not had Homeboys for a while but got it again last night and it is still class. Sausage pizza amazing, the tenders were really good and we tried the panozzo which for the price is top notch and proper filling.

Great pizzas and well worth the price for a 14” The staff were friendly and accommodating. Place was clean, tidy and had a nice vibe to it.

We've been going for a couple years now and never had a bad experience so thought I'd leave a review. Always great pizzas (the Salford sausage boy and fungi boy are our go to) and great service. The pizzas are huge but we still always order the truffle chips on the side. Plus Poretti on tap. What's not to like.

Hands down the best pizza in Manchester, a strong contender for the best slice title in general. This is the place. Congrats, you've found it! The only downside is that you'll never want pizza any other way after this again. This place is a real gem. You can't go wrong with any option but the fresh boy with the pesto sauce is a real winner and the meaty boy with the spicy sweet glaze is a game changer.

Always knock it out of the park. One of our favourite spots. They get busy and are a small venue so bear that in mind when ordering/booking to avoid disappointment!

Quick service and great pizza. The real sleeper item here was the dough balls, such a huge portion for just £5 with delicious cinnamon sugar.

Delicious pizzas, Parmesan and truffle fries and Salt and pepper wings. The pizzas were huge but we ate as much as we could. Probably order less next time as we now know the sizes. 😄

Amazing place, we have the hot boy, best pizza going the base of the pizzas here are so good. As it’s closed currently I tried out some of the local competition, didn’t come close. BBQ chicken tenders and blue cheese dip also immense. Always great service too and eating in upstairs is always a great experience.

After moving to the area in July it can be daunting to try new places especially after a few bad experiences. Can honestly say that this place is the best in Manchester for pizzas! Would also recommend the chicken tenders which are 10/10.

Was really looking forward to trying out HomeBoy Pizza but had a massively disappointing experience where we don't think we will go back again. We ordered a two pizzas and some of their sides, the collection time said 50 minutes, went to pick up our collection and was told our order would be another 10 minutes, was sat outside for another 40 minutes waiting just over an hour and a half in total to then have someone come out and hand me the wrong order. Then we were given our order which was sat waiting on top of their pizza oven. Took the order and by the time we got back to eat everything it was stone cold apart from the one luke warm pizza which was at the bottom touching the pizza oven. One of the sides was the chicken wing/tender combo which was suppose to have blue cheese sauce accompanying it which was no where to be seen. The whole experience was just ruined, from spending the amount we did to have to wait such a long time to receive cold food and not recieving the order with what was listed to accompany it. After hearing such good things we walked away extremely disappointed as we try to support our local businesses in Monton.

Wanted to love it, a bit burnt on the crusts which was overpowering and lacking flavour in the rest.

I've tried most pizza places that deliver to Eccles and this is the best to date and as close to New York style you will find. Lower East Side thinks it does New York Style but it's kind of trash compared to this. Great pizza, nice crisp - can really see you guys blowing up. Have to say the pizza has improved even more since you reopened too.

Disappointing unfortunately.The toppings were good,I had vegetarian (the Mrs had the Fresh boy) but the bases were not to our liking at all.I enjoy a softer base but still firm enough to hold the topping,however,this was far too dry and crispy,over cooked IMO,and was a struggle to eat.First visit so I don't know if that's the normal standard or I was just unlucky.A shame as I need a local go to.....

The best pizza in town. Even their sides and sweets are awesome. But more than that, just a lovely bunch of humans. Couldn’t have been more accommodating recently for our son’s birthday meal - with 15 hungry children!

I've smashed some pizza in my time. Lived in Italy for a number of years practically living on the stuff. Homeboys pizza is up there with the very best pizza I've ever consumed. It's a delicious cheesy embrace, crunchy and soft in all the right places. I've been enough times to say that they deliver a consistently solid product. The staff take it from a top pizza place to a top place to be. Its a 10/10 from me.

This place is by far the best place for both eating in and takeout on Monton high street! Absolute game changer! Amazing pizzas and even better “Speciales” my wife and I love it here, the team are great too, all knowing us by name so extremely personable. You’ve gotta try the Panozzos! Defo a 5 🌟

I live locally and this place has changed Monton. Best pizza in Salford. Pesto chips are nothing like I’ve ever had. Staff are always more than happy to help and have a chat (when they’re not busy / it’s always busy but they make time to have a chat).

Amazing pizza, my favourite soft and crispy sourdough base, not too ‘heavy’ and lots of interesting flavours (personal favourite bbq sauce pork) I am a regular and haven’t had a single let down yet! Also what a great location…Exactly what was missing in Monton. Perhaps one more creative dinning experience (a decent restaurant) in the area as you seem to know what you are doing?

We have dined in and ordered from Homeboys and every time the food is incredible! The pizzas are perfectly cooked with beautiful flavours and such a great choice of toppings and their pesto fries are to die for. Their restaurant menu is delicious with their lasagne being one of the tastiest things I think I’ve ever eaten! Homeboys is our go-to now pizza place!

I live locally so decided to try this place out for the first time. The website landing page says they're all 14" pizzas but on arriving back home I saw it was a 12", and wouldn't be enough for dinner (and now scared at the prospect of informing my wife!). I called to let them know, the person who answered was blasé as he informed me they were aware already, which surprised me. Surely if you know there's a pricing error you need to inform everyone who makes an order? He said they will change it in the next week (it is *one number* to edit on the website), before insisting the sizing was correct on the menu online (it wasn't). Bit annoying, I wasn't after a refund as I was already home and did just want them to be aware but I didn't get a good feeling from the way it was dealt with. Pizza was decent anyway, maybe that's the main thing.

The first rule of Homeboys pizza is that we don’t talk about Homeboys pizza. I had my doubts given the overwhelmingly positive reviews and word of mouth on the Manchester pizza scene (yes, there is one. No, you can’t ask to join. You have to be invited) I was sceptical. There’s no dearth of good Neapolitan style pizza in Manchester. After a while you’re making a decision on where to eat based more on the choice of negronis or craft beer rather than the dough. It was getting to the point where I was reaching a state of pizza fatigue. Enter Homeboys pizza. Rather than slavishly adhering to the precepts of Neapolitan style pizza, they blend in sourdough technique with New York style toppings and a bit of olive oil for crispness on the cornicone. The result is a glorious melange of mouth watering goodness. The fact that there aren’t people queuing around the corner is a surprise to me. While it’s not wood fired pizza, it was worth travelling all the way from South Manchester to try. This is not going to date well, but their pizza is the perfect thing to scarf while rewatching The Bear. Remember that the second rule of Homeboys is that you always ask for dip on your first order. Don’t forget to tip.

Really good pizza, quality and value well worth it, and the staff are fab. That’s all there is to say! we’ve had pizza from here loads of times and it’s consistently good, definitely the best in the area. Pizza is my favourite food and having been to Naples as well as the usual Manchester suspects (Rudys, honest crust, double zero…) I’d say these guys are up there with the best of them 🙌 Now they have seating inside I can’t wait to go and eat in. I also recommend a visit to maltdog next door - they used to have an agreement that you could eat your pizza from homeboys while having a drink in maltdog, not sure if that still stands now homeboys have seating. Great to see local businesses supporting each other, there’s room for everyone and it has such a positive effect on the high street!

I've been today for the first time, I'm a pizza chef from Italy and I have to say that this combination beetween new York style and napolitan pizza is working. Pizza is really tasty and well balanced, good size for the price. Keep the good work homeboys

Had an awesome meal in the upstairs restaurant at Homeboys Pizza! There were 8 of us including 4 kids - menu options were great, food was delicious, service was spot on, all the tables were full and the atmosphere was lovely. Definitely going back there again!

Best pizza in Monton for sure. We will be back- probably next week! Took our leftovers home and they were fantastic reheated too.

Ordered 2 vegan pizzas from Homeboys, Monton last night. One was cooked really well and the other burnt to a cinder on over 50% of the crust which made it inedible. A high proportion of the base was also burnt. Extremely disappointed. However the chips were really nice and the other pizza was cooked really well.

I know the prices look a little steep per pizza. However, between 2 people our usual order of splitting one pizza and a side of fries is more than enough And quite reasonable priced. All of the pizzas and sides are very well seasoned and the honey habanero sauce is next level! Even the fries are delicious, which I don't really expect from a pizza place! The naming scheme for the pizzas is hilarious and is a great touch! Would recommend!

First time visit. My friend lives locally and said we need to take a trip over and go. I couldn’t rate it high enough. Relaxed atmosphere, service very attentive and the food was phenomenal. All 3 of us are big foodie’s and we were all in agreement it has to be one of the best pizzas we’ve had. The chicken tenders & parmesan fries were top draw as well.

Fantastic pizzeria. Lovely chewy dough, high quality chorizo and pepperoni (had the meat boy pizza) and the Habenero Honey drizzle is an inspired addition. Touch of heat, touch of sweetness cutting thru nicely. Pesto Fries were great too
