Holme Brew in East Riding of Yorkshire

Popped in Sunday about 1 pm on bikes .I had a full English my mate had cheesy chips..then we both had treacle pudding and custard..all food was gorgeous..Great place nice people and staff

The staff had dirty hands, when I asked about it considering they were handling food I was told that I wasn't in the city now and I could throw it in the duck pond if I didn't want it.. very dated interior, an overall bad experience, It would be nice to see something like a Costa in the village who can do it properly !

Small cafe decided to take away, nice cakes but they do not make these? but that is as far as it goes. I would not recommend lunch here. I ended up going to the bakery across the road and found it much nicer. Would not return, sorry!

A great little cafe with very friendly, helpful staff. They even directed my friend and I to a nearby historic church which we wanted to see! Nice food at good prices too.

I called in the cafe last Friday morning after staying in the village for one of the greatest if not the greatest breakfast I have ever had my plate was full at the star but empty by the end anyone staying in the village if you love a good breakfast call in it was amazing

Wonderful cafe located at the top of the village! Homemade food (quiche with red onion and cheddar, yum) which is popular, has good value food and a great choice. Staff friendly, welcoming and cafe is immaculately clean.

Stopped by on the way home from holiday. Was open BH Monday. Relatively comprehensive menu comprising hot and cold sarnies on sliced or baps. A few cakes and ice cream. Tuna melt panini was bang on, tuna sarnie bang on. Ham and cheese sarnie was alright. Great little spot!

Today I have a visit to the area to see family. What a little treasure this place is. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was really delicious and amazing for portion size. My boys were stuffed! also the staff were very kid friendly. my little boy was very excited to play the pin the tail on the bunny Easter game which was given to him. thank you for a lovely experience.

Always great for a traditional full english Breakfast, everything is always fresh and staff are brilliant, All the work lads always go there when we work in the area and they are never disappointed.

Called in today 30th march. Very pleasantly surprised. As we walked in there were 4 workmen and 2 others having full breakfasts,what a plateful they were. If workmen use this cafe then that tells you how good it is. We had bacon butties and the price has just gone up to £3 !!.I defy anybody to find a bacon buttie in the surrounding area for this price and this quality!The menu is extensive from butties to full meals, keep a look out for the specials on offer. The prices are very very reasonable compared to other cafes in the area. Don't be put off by some of the reviews, I'm told by the staff that at least one of the bad reviews that the person has never set foot in the cafe. Try places for yourself and make up your own mind. We will definitely visit again soon

Good place for a quick coffee and cake during a cycle ride.

Low quality food, needs a makeover.. Would be nice to see a Costa or Cafe Nero set up shop here, or perhaps a smaller chain that is well established.

Ordered veggie sausage sarnie and other things. Lots of things not in stock. After waiting 25mins for the sarnies we was told there was no veggie sausages? Got standard sausages which were warmed up in the microwave :( Forgotten sauce and almost forgot coffee Hygiene standards wise, the lad serving was playing with his scab and had dirty nails which is just off putting. Also found what looked like blue play dough in my bread roll? Really lovely people but we sadly won't be back I'm not one to write bad reviews but feel this place needs honest reviews and revamp asap

I've had some really great breakfasts and lunches here but this Friday evening they have really stepped up their game. The American burger night food was fantastic I had the Nach it up Burger it was brilliant enjoyed it so much and definitely ready to try other burgers and loaded fries which looked great as this is regular Friday nights now. Plenty of room to sit while it's fresh cooked

Not overly rushing back, i used the toilet in the back (it wasn't that clean!) in doing so you have to pass through the kitchen... crockery and plates stacked high and looked a state. Waiter looked like he had been rummaging for potatoes in a field by the state of his hands and finger nails and the food didn't taste right nice... but that was after seeing the first to events which may have put me off first

We love bringing our daughter to the cafe to see the lovely staff and have a yummy butty and recently some of the loveliest home made sweet treats we've tasted. Little T says YUMMY 😋

Went for a bike ride and after about 25 miles was ready for something to eat. Had a lovely cup of tea and a cracking sausage and egg sandwich. The bread buns were extremely soft and fluffy. If passing you should check it out

Went for a long walk( well a 5miler☺️) round and about Holme on Spalding Moor and we were very ready for lunch. I had the child’s breakfast of one pork sausage 1 rasher of bacon 1 fried egg baked beans and a slice of toast all for £4.50 . Husband had a full breakfast which had more of everything plus a hash brown mushrooms and tomatoes. With a huge mug of tea 😁 absolutely gorgeous with great service. A really lovely straightforward cafe with wonderful food and staff … we will be back🥰🥰

Cafe is clean and tidy, staff are friendly and the coffee is really good. We ordered sandwiches to take out and they were great. We will definitely be stopping again. Happy customer 😊

We love Cathy's cafe!! A fab place for home cooked food and very friendly staff.

A straightforward, decent cafe in a village setting - cash only on the day we dropped in. Very happy with my cold soft drink and hot sausage roll and real HP sauce. Staff seemed friendly to us outsiders travelling from Sheffield to Bridlington. Free parking nearby on a weekday wasn't problem.

Called here on way to east coast for some hiking. Got a very warm welcome. The full English breakfast was delicious s served up with proper tea in mugs. Our group of walkers enjoyed it so much, we calls in the next day on our way back home for another round of full English. Highly recommended.

Been on transfer from Morrisons Goole to McColls across the road all week. This place was highly recommended by staff at the McColl’s and it certainly does not disappoint! Lovely friendly staff, reasonably priced, good home cooked food. Would definitely recommend as a place to grab breakfast or lunch!
