Generous portion sizes cheesy chips are my favourite a lovely amount of cheese the fish is bubbly and warm batter is always crispy and crunchy

Decided to have fish and chips for lunch as a treat due to cost these days. What a waste of money. Chips were cold and soggy. Didnt taste like chips, brown and soggy. Fish was hot as freshly cooked but I think it was under done. Given me indigestion all afternoon. Wish I hadn't wasted my money

Lovely and clean well set out very friendly atmosphere. Me and my wife had cod and chips and the fish was spot on,Lovely and white flesh crispy batter not swimming in oil. Nothing is pre cooked its fried fresh in front of you. Considering the high prices of oil etc I think there prices are still good

I’ve being going to this fish and chip shop for quite a while never disappointed I ask for golden chips last night our meal was as always up to standard chips perfect cod was very tasty with not too much batter this is what I get every time superb see you next week must not forget the very pleasant staff thanks a lot.

As well as the food being excellent the staff are amazing. We have have been buying from Hollington Fish and Chips for about two years now after trying several others in the area and none of those come anywhere near Hollington Fish and Chips.

This is a go to fish and chip take away. Sure you have to wait whilst your order is being cooked, but that can only be a good thing as you know its fresh. Portion sizes are good, quality is very good.

When they first opened they were excellent- the fish was so fresh but the last three times I have visited I always get served the tail end of the cod which is dry and not very nice. Going to have to kind an alternative unfortunately

Don't offer a delivery service if you don't actually offer a delivery service. Won't use this chippy again.

Very friendly service and the cod was tasty, with not too much batter. The chips were disappointing, not crispy on the outside and rather soggy overall. It may be we were served chips that had been kept warm for a bit too long, so will give it a go again next week.

I stopped off here on way to work they served me really quickly put box on my lap and ate in car on way, they were so piping hot. Best chips ever no soggy ones or silly little bits in all chunky fantastically cooked chips . The Cod was so fresh like it had just been caught batter was just right not greasy beautiful. Huge portion too. This is defiantly the very best Fish n chips you will taste anywhere !! Highly recommended, just hope they keep it up . Thank you guys and girls xx

Some of the best chips I have tasted got home and they were still very hot and a nice size portion will use again

Don't know where some people are saying food is bad the fish is delicious and definitely not mostly batter and the portions are generous for the price you pay I'm thinking the bad reviews are getting confused with deep blue down road who are awful...
