Subway in Tewkesbury

Highly recommend this fantastic place. When we are in the area. We go out of our way to come here. The staff are very friendly and accommdating. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a pleasure to go there.

Ordered at 12:10 and was due 12:30-12:45, then changed to 12:45-13:03, it arrived at 13:20

Really rude entitled staff that have no customer service and act hard done by that they cant catch a break together when only 2 staff work. Young girls with serious attitude.

Food was okay however it was a clear inconvenience that we had interupted plans for a fag break together and once food was passed to us unwelcomly they both walked out the front door and stood infront and had a fag together. Other customers came along to the counter and they continued to stand out the front and finish their fag to then go back in, not wash hands chucked on gloves& apron and carried on serving! Poor customer service and etiquette!

Great customer service, Kevin helped me with the new menu and suggestions, great food too, we'll be back next time we're down in the area!

Reassuring franchise on my national travels.. nice to have one near home with some of my favourites. No issues.

Popped here with my son for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Was okay, but they didn't put much steak in my wrap, considering steak is one of the most expensive things on the menu, I'd expect a bit more, had much more at other subways I've visited.

Now five visits, every time the speed of service has been terrible. Each time the member of staff has been much slower than other subway branches at preparing food. Clearly a training problem which management need to resolve.

The usual selection of fillings, always nice to know gluten-free rolls are available. Staff friendly and keen to make sure everything was as we wanted it. Parking immediately outside.

Very good service, the man serving me was very polite and helpful, incredibly fast service considering I ordered two subs and it was only one man serving me!

This has to be the worst subway chain restaurant in the entire city. It never has any options for vegetarian or vegan is in stock. There are flies everywhere inside the shop above the counter etc. it’s just gross. I just left for 5th time and they have nothing I wanted and what’s worse is I have left with loads of bites in the back of my ankle. Environmental health should check this establishment out. On a positive note I did see them change gloves but they didn’t have any of the Sandwiches I wanted in stock sell it was pointless.

2 incompetent guys have no idea of how normally a subway order system works trying to tell customers what to do and creating a chaos even worse, is this what subway came to? The one in till drinks his tea and not even touching anything else telling me to help myself to drinks in fridge next to him, apparently thinks himself working in an accountancy bureau. You wonder how worse this place can ever descend into hiring worse and worse personnel.

Worse service ever. I was the only person in Subway and was still 30 mins for a rough looking man to finish my order. He worked like a snail and mumbled. The food was good though, but they were low on stock of quiet a few things. No worries. Won't be going g back.

This subway is great most of the time. Once or twice I've been in when there's new staff and they tend to be a bit slower. But often they're fine. Especially when there's not many people in. Lovely staff, good quality fresh ingredients. What you expect from a subway.

Typical busy lunch hour and there was only 1 member of staff, which told me the manager had gone to another store leaving just 1 member of staff to deal with in-store orders as well as justeat orders. Unacceptable.

RACIST!!!! A BIG RACIST, RUDE. No meatballs in my megameat sandwich, when I mentioned about it, no sorry, just said they can give me some meatballs in a drink cup......asked for the refund but said NO...... DIDN'T EVEN SMILE TO ME AT ALL BUT SERVED WELL TO OTHER ENGLISH CUSTOMERS.

Despite lockdown having been lifted access to this venue was very restricted. Most of the indoor areas were blocked off and staff very rudely shouted at people to wait outside when more than a few people came in. They didn't have my preferred type of bread and also very very unhelpful. Because of this I didn't get anything for myself but my son bought a 6" sub and my wife a chicken salad meal. Both said that the food tasted good.

I've just gone to my local subway to get breakfast only to find they don't have them in non of the breakfast menu, could have mentioned something considering I was waiting half an hour for 1 guy I had to wait in front of a customer that wasn't challenged for wearing a face mask, didn't ask him if he was exempt either. The guy was shouting out to his friend from within the store through me. I will go elsewhere from now on. Regards

Popped into Subway for a quick sandwich, the sole server made us feel at ease, given us time to make our choices. Every was safe behind the screens and the card payment was straigthforward. The sub was great with all the fillings we wanted, the server was friendly and inviting, we've been back there again since!

Staff member very rude and unpolite. He ignored our presence and he kept us waiting few minutes. The service was slow despite we were the only clients in the shop. And during the service the guy looked like he wanted to get rid of us quickly not even give us a chance to choose the bread. Avoid.

Had a Chicken Pizziola from this branch of subway today and I have to take my hat off to the guy that made it as I think it qualifies as the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. He was working all by himself and ran off his feet but still had time to be polite, friendly and professional. I assume this was his take on it as he double toasted it and used grated cheese instead of the slices but my god it was good. So good In fact that I had to get on here and write a review. Keep up the great work man and I’ll be in again soon for another of those bad boys!!

They sell sandwiches here, tasty selection but slow delivery as they prioritise web orders. Factory fresh ingredients.

Good service as with others can be slow if busy.

We have been using Subway all over the world but regret that this branch failed to meet our expectations. The choice of fillings was limited but more especially the bread roll choice was virtually nil. The service was ok.

Other reviews say it all. Horrible place, franchisee shouldn’t be allowed to run a restaurant😂 staff are treated so horribly, surprised they don’t resign. Oh wait they normally do, very quickly!! That’s why they don’t know what they’re doing, they’ve probably only been there 5 minutes, and not been trained at all!!!

Poor poor service. Really disappointed. Over 21 minutes to get a latte. Girl serving was so slow with little or no communication with her customers. Thankfully another member of staff made my coffee. Thank you Ewe.

The wife and I all ways love a subway as it's always fresh and enjoyable and reasonable I highly recommend a subway. I can always remember the first time had a subway was in 1995 the first time I visited my best friend in the USA and i had a subway in San Francisco. That was a blast that city

Last year this place used to be amazing... Now I refuse to go to this store. I went one evening on a Tuesday to get a Subway. Went in to have the guy (Callum) stare at me. I said are you still open? His response yes but I have lots to do.... They didn't close until 9pm and this was 6pm!!! So I said don't worry and walked out. 2 weeks later I tried again.... Same guy.... I asked for the garlic butter cheesy bread.... Sorry we have no garlic butter. Then I asked for something which had meatball sauce in.... No sauce!! Then no hash browns... No nachos.... Then I went to put salad in my Subway.... 3 pieces of cucumber and that was it. I wish I had taken a picture. So no: Garlic butter, Meatball sauce, Nachos, Hash Brown's, Any salad I said have you been busy? No was his answer. Instead of chatting to his mates when I went in he should have been cutting salad. I wish I hadn't have had the Subway. Contacted the manager who said they would talk to him. Offered no refund or no apology either. Absolute disgrace. I will not go back to this Subway.

thursday evening - not a lot on - place fairly quiet - plenty of spare time for the purple haired misery to get a cloth and start cleaning the place up. Unfortunately - her dismal attitude towards customers was reflected in her work place . Cheer up miss - it might never happen - have never felt so depressed

Pretty standard for a subway, staff were pleasant enough. For some reason the meatballs tasted cheap not sure why perhaps the recipe has changed?

They had no Tuna delivery when i visited. No imagination to go get some. I guess its all factory prepared sludge and they cannot deviate from the plan.

They always run out of food there. Never again. I’ve been there so many times and half of the times I’ve been there they run out!

Wow, what a mess! The girl that served me had a face on like a bulldog chewing a wasp. The lad on the till, well I want some of what he was on. The manager looked like he may well of been homeless. All ingredients were cross contaminated. I ordered hash browns only to find they didn’t actually have any that weren’t defrosted. Not that I was told properly, just given a pound back and made to sign a refund receipt, maybe a different option would of been nice? Having said that the sandwich was alright, just could of done with hash browns. All in all it was just hard work and my friends all found the same.

I came in at around 1 today (10/4/19) and I sincerely apologize to the staff. I wasn't paying very much attention and ended up being really rude, but the two men who served me were still very polite despite this. Thank you

10.3.19 @ 16.30 Would have given 0 if i could have No ingredients. Girl had 0 IQ and forgot 3/4 parts of the order and didn't make half of the food in the right way which I found bizzare. Quiet and nobody in there yet the place was filthy. Girl should be binned off. In fact I want my bloody money back

It's a shame there is no one responsible for litter picking in the community since the majority of local litter is Subway branded.

We arrived to one person in front of us and two staff. We asked for two 6 inch subs with marinara sauce. The chap serving is was clearly distracted by something in the kitchen that involved removing the charity box from the counter whilst we watched our previously warm sauce get cooler and cooler. Eventually we just left as he never came back from the kitchen and our warm marinara sauce subs were cold... Just hope this was a one of but on this occasion the service was shocking short of competent.

Had my first ever subway today! It was a pleasure and would have another happily! The staff were very helpful, the food was brilliant and there was lots of choice, I had the 6 inch Italian herb and cheese sub with the subway melt and various sauces and salads, it was delicious and has opened me up to trying other things from there. The place it self was SO hot and the poor staff really needed aircon! It was clean however and the staff were upbeat.

I'm a great fan of Subway, and this was really helpful on one of our days out. I love the concept of freshly filled, customised Subs - or you can go Salad if Low-Carb. Chicken Tikka is my favourite!

Small franchise but with all products served. Not busy during the evening. Limited parking space at the front and toilets available. Nothing wrong with it.

Enjoyable....My Daughter and I love a visit to Subway....always the healthy options....

I have used quite a few Subways over the years. This one seems a slightly odd location and never seems particularly busy but I have only ever visited it in the mornings to grab something for later in the day so don't have a great deal of experience. The food is fresh and up to typical Subway standards. Last time I visited the coffee machine was out of order so I had to pay extra on top of my meal deal for a fizzy drink which I would have thought should have been a free upgrade as it was not my fault their coffee machine was down. Oh well.

No issues with the place just a shame they have got rid of non diet drinks as a result of the sugar tax. Sometimes the diet varieties just aren't the same . Can't I have an option to pay 10p more for a non diet drink or something? Ultimately if I want to drink sugary drinks and risk health issues like diabetes and gum disease this should be MY choice not subways choice. It's my body after all up to me what I put into it. It's not a complaint just constructive feedback thank you

Even though it was single staffed the wait was acceptable

Absolutely disgusted! Greeted by both members of staff outside smoking and asked us to wait. Not impressed having cigarette smoke blown in my face. All surfaces covered in food. Pieces of meat on the cheese. Had to request they replace their lettuce as it was brown. The girl obliged and then after she had finished my order she then put the fresh lettuce away and carried on using the brown lettuce.

Clean and tidy on our visit. Only one member of staff working, but cleared orders quickly and was very pleasant.

Shared a foot long subway with my partner the other day, luckily we both like the same meats. It was fresh tasty and enough for both of us. Yes I would have another one.

Subway is a good alternative to garage sarnies or the golden "M" place - at least u see what's going in and u have a choice! :-)

Fui al metro por primera vez en Guildford, Surrey, la comida era muy fresco, me encantaron los diferentes tipos de pan se podía escoger. No muy caro para un almuerzo rápido, comer o salida. elegir su propia abundante tiene que ser un ganador.

Couldn't be bothered with finding a restaurant so went to order a sub from Subway we spotted previous day. Young lads very helpful and enjoyed our meal back at our hotel

Great for lunch dinner or tea. Quick and simple to visit. However their pricing structure is very confusing. Got a sandwich thinking it was included in a offer but it wasn't and was an extra £3.

This is my local subway. I've never had to wait long to be served. They always have good deals and love this sub at the moment. Getting a sub card is great and like this place. Keep up the good work.

I called in today as I use Subway once a week or so and I was shocked at the dirty appearance of the place. Congealed food in the cabinet corners where the stainless counter doesnt cover, dirt and mud all over the floor and it...

El director es alegre, amable y eficiente, y orienta su personal por desgracia que cambia continuamente bien (no es su culpa). El ambiente es acogedor y conseguir su pedido, ¿qué más se puede pedir. Metro metro pero el personal que hacen de esta sucursal un placer volver de nuevo, y de nuevo, y de nuevo ...

Great to stop off here for a quick bite when I haven't got time to make it in to Gloucester. Just ad pleasant as the big Subway in the centre of town, just a little more convenient when on the school run.

Ok if you want a quick and simple lunch. Good value but not particularly tasty. The breakfast deal for £3 is a good deal.

Not a regular subway eater but travelling and needed to eat. Nice steak and cheese roll, good service and a good coffee too.I'd come again.

I only hope this was off day but we called in there at about 1.30pm. The tables were dirty and full of leftovers.That didn't matter too much but the large flies walking about on the meat and salad did.We didn't bother to stay. When I want meat with my Subway, I don't want it to have wings!
