Lovely, bright hotel Staff very helpful. Decent sized room, comfortable bed. Quality toiletries made relaxing in lovely deep bath a pleasure. Breakfast had excellent selection of hot & cold choices Small issue with lamps in room was addressed almost immediately by attentive & freindly staff. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have a more relaxing bar area to enjoy a drink, fine for a stop on way out not great for relaxing night cap. From the reception staff & throughout, it appeared as though staff enjoyed working there & made our stay very enjoyable

Went for a first time trip to Old Trafford to watch the game versus Ipswich Town, room service cleaned our room when we went out. Friendly staff. The prices for some things were quite high but apart from that the experience was great and I will probably be coming again.

Whilst the room was comfortable, breakfast was absolutely dismal. Probably one do the worst breakfasts I've been offered in my life so left it. Couldn't cut the mushrooms they were so soggy and rubbery, bacon had no flavour (how is that possible?) coffee was awful. If you think you're waking up to a treat in the morning, think again. Depressing.

Stayed here back in 2022. Excellent location in The Quays, walking distance from a lot of pubs, restaurants and the tram station.

Brilliantly placed for easy access to a weekend at media city. Staff were exceptional. Birthday welcome plate for my wife and the room had an amazing view! Breakfast was worth it for the day ahead. Staff were really the critical point for an exceptional welcome. Fully recommended.

Good location in Media City which would be great in the summer time but not so much in winter. Found some chicken sitting in a take away book beside the window to welcome us which begs the question how well the room was cleaned. Gave to reception and was basically brushed off. Room was OK. Shower and bathroom very good and everything worked well. Broken light in bedroom which looked a bit dangerous but worked. The hotel bar is good for a drink or 2 but not cheap and bar staff need a bit of customer relation training.

Nice room. But why do so many hotels, and different rooms within the same hotel, have different issues regarding air con, wear, furniture, coffee machine etc?

Perfect location for where I needed to be (BEC a short team ride away), reception and bar staff were great, room was comfy, but felt a bit "business trip", more than happy with the place and will definitely book for same event next year

Spacious room, polite and cheerful staff. It's just a short tram ride to city centre. An excellent choice if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nice room, only had a twin available when I booked but was only 24 hours notice. Room was comfy clean and had the essential like a nice shower, iron in the room and air con. Air con was a bit loud but needed as was a warm night. There was total silence otherwise, didn’t hear people in the corridors or doors opening and closing. The restaurant was really nice and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I believe you get discount at the ncp car park when staying here. In a good location for Salford and media city. You will need transport into Manchester City centre but busses and trams run nearby.

Summary ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spent the night here before flying out to Turkey – I thought booking this hotel near the airport would take all the stress out of travelling and be cost effective. Hard to give a glowing review, some positives and lots of negatives. ✅ This hotel delivered but I will not say here again ✅ Staff are lovely and helpful ❌ Complete tourist trap. Stay with one that has a shuttle link or free parking Location ⭐️ Close to the airport, and they sell that as a cheap alternative to Manchester City, however lots of hidden fees, for example ❌ Hotel stated no bus link on website or when asked, they can book you a taxi for £18 - however the stagecoach 313 from Manchester Airport goes strait past for £2!!! ❌ £12 to park per night ❌ £15+ per taxi each way (1 mile) ❌ Other hotels have free shuttle buses - book one of them ✅ plenty of parking Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are quite and obviously cater’s for a mix of clientele. On-site restaurant, simple foods, but surprisingly all reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I tried to eat there last night, but it was the England game and a bunch of Italian tourists arrived so decided not to. Alcohol – CARD ONLY which winds me up!!! Breakfast – Crazy busy but handled well!!! As expected, full English breakfast (only scrambled eggs) obviously powered. The usual cereal, yogurt etc. Room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On the whole, I was not disappointed – despite the negatives, I really liked the room. ✅ Very well kept, clear and tidy, ✅ bathroom is modern and shower is EXCELLENT ✅ Bed Comfy and slept very well ❌ Guest Wi-Fi was down during our stay – NOT GOOD AS PHONE SIGNAL IS POOR (3G) ❌ 3sachets of coffee, yes, I can ask for more, but really!! Should I have to ❌ No plug sockets near the bed ❌ TV is old and just……well…….OLD

The parking is £11 and it’s a few minutes walk down the road. The service was ok at checkin and in the breakfast. We booked double bed rooms and we got 2 single beds which was really annoying. The staff said that they didn’t have any doubles available. I’ve seen much better breakfasts in other Holiday Inn branches. I don’t feel that it worth the price. They really need to service their coffee machine at the breakfast buffet.

The first room was a little tired and dated, with bedside cabinets that did not shut properly but the beds were comfortable and the view not bad! However, there was an awful high-pitched buzz that went on for hours and stopped us sleeping. The next day I raised this problem at the desk, and they seemed to know the cause (it seemed to come from the cupboard in the corridor) and eventually agreed to move us to the floor below - there was no more issue once the move was made. However, it had impacted our sleep on the first night and left us both tired the next day, which was my special milestone birthday event!!!! The second room was in much better repair and felt cleaner and newer. I think I would consider staying again, but I would refuse to stay in the room offered on the first night! The hotel is in a good location, near a tram stop (although if you are traveling alone you may not like cutting through the garden late at night on your own). There are shops nearby and coffee shops, as well as restaurants (a great place for breakfast/brunch and a great Indian casual eatery which was great value for money and amazing!) It is also near the Blue Peter Garden, Coronation Street, Lowry Museum and one of the Manchester Football grounds are all within easy walking distance.

Booked a room on the top floor expecting a premium room was disappointed the bed was uncomfortable housekeeping may need glasses 🙄 Breakfast I don’t know where to start Saturday and Sunday morning for the ratio of staff to diners I expected 5 star service! 4 breakfast items missing off the hot plate on both days and bread had to ask! Sunday stupidly I didn’t know I had to ask for fried eggs (as no one said and no notices) as they were there Saturday. I work in the industry and this buffet style breakfast isn’t rocket science to keep the kitchen informed of what’s running low?! I should think nearly every other person had to ask for something that was missing 🤷🏻♀️ Got to say the piece de la resistance was the cleaner pushing the her trolley through the buffet area! We expected the bar to be open Saturday lunchtime to be informed rather rudely by reception it wouldn’t open until 3pm! So no wouldn’t stay here again.

Find it unbelievable that on a Sunday afternoon you couldn’t sit in the Bar & have a coffee before 3pm, we were directed to Costa coffee up the street. Very poor.

Our first bottomless brunch did not disappoint. The food was lovely and our server Dani was amazing. If hospitality had more Dani’s the industry would be in a much better place. There is a lovely vibe in the restaurant . I forgot my glasses and another member of the team found me a pair to borrow. I would highly recommend a visit 🥰 Keep up the great work Dani 🙌🙌🙌🙌
