Although the containers were hot. the food was cold. it looked like it was re-heated in a microwave. the pork should be a little crunchy as it was sweet and sour, there was barely any. Very disappointed!

Waited 2 hours for our food, no updates from Hoi Tin and had to call twice to receive an update. The delivery time kept increasing without an explanation. Will think twice about ordering from here again.

Sent the same dish twice and argue with me on the phone that the massamam dish should not have patato or peanuts in the dish. We got the same dish twice. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food is average. The really annoying thing is once you have ordered, the estimated delivery time more than doubles. They also do not update on the app of what’s happening.

As always lovely food—very tasty and generous amounts but for once I have a small complaint—-disappointed that there was less duck meat than there was fatty unpleasant skin. Please take it off next time.

although my order was late, the shop rang me to inform me that traffic was very bad in my area and they would deliver later than expected so my order would still be hot when it arrived. was hot and delicious as usual. thank you for keeping me informed xx

This used to be the best Chinese takeaway in Bedford, right now I consider it the worst Chinese I have ever had in my life. Either the chef was changed or the owner is trying to scam on cheap quality products, as the food is disgraceful. Complete lack of any flavour.

This was my top chinese takeaway few months ago, right now half of the food ended up in the trash bin. Terrible quality and tasteless food, you won’t recognise the difference between red or black or any other sauce, they all taste the same. Massive disappointment and won’t be ordering from there again

Shows 45 to 50 minutes delivery took over 2 hours!

Everything looked okay food hot and delivered early however the taste was not so great the chicken in both dishes had a peculiar taste to the point both dishes were discarded

Be cautious as dispite paying top dollar for delivery as quoted before ordering , the owner called direct to extort more money from me for delivery for agreeing to delivery our food. Food was average after all.

Hoi Tin is our favorite Chinese take away. The food is so good that we have no need to order elsewhere. Delicious, fresh and arrives hot every time. A++++

Do not waste your time for this place. Staff is rude and lie, food was delivered after 2 hours of placing order. When finally arrived chicken was undercooked and springrolls half frozen! Waste of time and money

the food was poor quality very disappointing chicken was so dry I had to spit it out...couldn't chew it and 1h late for delivery , driver did not read the note where I asked to call upon arrival instead he rang bell multiple time and knocked the door in a combo late at night with 2 small kids sleeping

Useless service, meal arrived, wrong! Phoned up to be told by restaurant ‘I had to check my meal was correct’, driver come back, exchanged bags, by which time driver jumps in car and clears off, checked my bag and yet again incorrect! I pay a delivery charge, driver should check before he gets out the car he has the right order/address! Never again

2 hours from ordering to delivery thats not normal. The chips were disgusting and inedible overcooked and stale it wouldn’t surprise me if they were lunch times leftovers reheated. The crispy chicken was soggy and horrible. I can’t remember the last time I had such a bad takeout.

I've always bought from hoi tin for years now. Delivery today took over 1hour and wasn't particularly hot. Disappointing.

We ordered food at 18.50 we called the restaurant at 20.03 the woman on the phone said the food is gonna be cooked fresh now and then the next driver will deliver. £25.00 and 2 phone calls still no food and the time is now 20.35.

Tbh I was disappointed with the chicken curry I ate about 3 mouthfuls and didn’t eat the rest the sweet sour pork was good rice good fritters good,

Ordered the food at 7:52pm and it came at 8:02pm this Chinese place is 5 minutes away from my house and i ordered about 6 dishes. The food was really cold especially the rice, the chicken was dry as a rock the chips were freezing cold. It made me and my partner have food poisoning, that shows there food is not fresh at all it’s all re-heate. Worse Chinese in Bedford HOI TIN, guys please don’t go there you will have a really bad experience. As you guys can tell from what i said. You guys will get ill!! Im not just posting this for fun, im posting this to make awareness to people that go there. The lady from there also she can’t even speak English properly she wasn’t understanding a word of what I was saying. And she was just laughing at the phone when I was telling her we got food poisoning from them. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOI TIN PLEASE!!!

Food took nearly 2 hours to arrive and we also had to pay the driver an extra £1 for delivery because our address was too far! However the food was piping hot and tasty if your prepared to wait 😊

Once again the delivery was found outside the outer door after clear instructions say knock on inner door of ground floor flat and it always seems to be with hoi tin takeaway I know I am only one person but I spend a lot through this app and I am disgusted at the service I receive from hoitin

Placed order at 6.55pm and ETA was 8.15pm-8.35pm. After chasing through JustEat (because could not get through on phone to restaurant at all), got message saying "sorry, cooking now, will deliver 9.00pm." 9.30pm I gave up and requested refund through JustEat. 9.37pm food arrived. 2 hours and 40 minutes for two dishes and spring rolls!! And the two dishes were overcooked and inedible. Absolutely shocking service

I think depends on the chef on shift cause all the time the food taste different . I love everything normally but today the chef special fried chicken shredded in lemon sauce was not nice at all. to be kind in general I can say I do appreciate this restaurant

Chips were undercooked had to cook them for 10 minutes Myself. The kung po chicken had barely any sauce, 90% of the chicken was just crispy chicken no sauce. This is my regular place but I’m very disappointed and don’t know if I will return.

First time we ordered. It was 1 hour late but great food. Second order... waited 3 hours and no food. Rang 7 times, engaged dial tone.

this delivery didn't look or taste fresh! I've always enjoyed your food but this batch was not it at all. only the ribs tasted the usual way.

The meal was due at 5.30. It arrived at that exact time, to the minute. We have ordered from here before and as always the food was excellent.

Excellent food, really good quality and very tasty. Plenty of meat in the dishes and good-sized portions. Good value and would definitely recommend.

Order was over 2 hours late and the food was average! When ringing the restaurant for an update I was met with a very unhelpful lady who said ‘we’re busy, it’ll be half an hour’ with no apologies. I then proceeded to wait another hour and a half for my food to turn up, completely cold.

Dont ever order from here if you have a brain cell that works. Waited over 3 hours and never arrived. Rude woman on the phone kept putting the phone down when tried to ring then eventually stopped picking up the phone.

I got a call after 1 hr to say the delivery would be another 40 mins as they were busy. I called again after another hour to be told they were only just starting to prepare the food!! when I asked to cancel the order, the lady was rude and wouldn't confirm my money would be refunded. Not good service at all!

the food arrived quicker than expected which was a bonus. However the care for the food, either when packed or transported, was not great. My main curry pot was propped open and had leaked all in the bag, resulting in me losing 1/4 of the sauce from my main. I don’t normally order delivery from as I select the collection option, and I’m really disappointed in the spillage that I will no longer use delivery and make sure I only collect. Luckily today, I ordered an extra curry sauce pot so I am sb

Best Chinese food in Bedford by far, my favourite is the house special fried rice in sauce and the salt and chilli wings. Very reasonably priced for what you get, sadly some of thei delivery guys are not friendly
