Hoang Lan in Hammersmith and Fulham

This simple looking little restaurant houses a great little eatery offering the best of Vietnamese cuisine at extremely reasonable prices. A friendly welcome is guaranteed and the service always friendly courteous and prompt. Mrs. S. and I love eating here, it is peaceful and unhurried and the food is fresh and very tasty. We both love the Papaya salad, the traditional Pho is wonderful and I especially enjoy the crispy noodles although all their noodle dishes are excellent! This gorgeous little place is another good reason to visit Askew Rd W12.

Como amante de la buena comida, puedes imaginar nuestro deleite al encontrar un restaurante que cumpla con todas tus expectativas en cuanto a la calidad de sus platos. A menudo pedimos tres o más veces a la semana en este excelente restaurante vietnamita Hoang Lan. Mr Hui, el chef y propietario, se esmera en utilizar los mejores ingredientes para crear los platos más sabrosos. Originalmente solíamos pedir platos de Pho, pero como vegetarianos, ahora tenemos un nuevo plato favorito, tofu frito y verduras mixtas con arroz frito con huevo. Seguido de helado de limón. Delicioso. Sin excepción, Hoang Lan es sin duda uno de los mejores restaurantes del oeste de Londres por su comida, calidad y precio. Lo recomendamos encarecidamente.

A senhora que atende mal sabe falar Inglês e às vezes fica complicado entender. A comida é boa e parece genuinamente lá da terra dela. O preço pode ser puxado... mas isto é Londres!

Love this little place on Askew Road. Popped in on A Monday lunchtime for soup, dumplings and stir fly and were so happy with the freshness of the ingredients. good asian beer menu too and very good value.

Visited this restaurant today and the food and service is amazing. We will certainly return here. The pho dish is highly recommended.

At first when you enter, the lady appears to be gruff but that is just her way of speaking. She's actually very friendly and helpful. When I said I didn't want any plastic straws, she ran out to the shops to get some paper ones! That said, we found the food very good but a little sweet. Even the coconut water appeared to have something in it- I can tell as I've had coconut water in many different countries. I don't know if they are sweetening the food to make it more palatable but the 'non sweetened' Vietnamese food to be found in Hoxton and Shoreditch are fine and very good. So I hope they read this review and stop sweetening the food. The toilet was a bit iffy, that is why the four stars as well. Otherwise, a lovely little place- will go again!

My daughter, who lives in a street off Askew Road, took me here for lunch. We ordered a sharing plater and were persuaded that we would not want any additional dishes. It was truly excellent and with all the tit bits that make Vietnamese food so different and delicious. Quickly served with a coconut neatly choped open at the top with a straw to enable us to enjoy the milk. Can't wait to return and I wish it was nearer our home.

I visited the restaurant with a group of old friends recently and was impressed by the tasty food, lively atmosphere and attentive and knowledgeable staff. Was particularly impressed by the Sea Bass. Will definitely be returning.

Not many ratings yet but I'm so pleased we tried this place and will definitely return. Authentic food and the main courses in particular were splendid. Very friendly service and very good value at less than £20 per head including service. Unpretentious atmosphere but well worth a visit and strongly recommended.

Had a super Pho here this week. Very welcoming. Ordered a coconut water and was pleasantly surprised to receive a whole coconut with a straw. Have never had this before. When finished it was cut in half for us to enjoy the coconut flesh. The soup was huge and couldn’t finish. Friendly chap explained this was his mothers restaurant. By the time we left the restaurant was full. Two meals and drinks came to £32

I’ve been to Hoang Lan twice now and I really enjoyed my meal on both occasions. The summer rolls were fresh and tasty, and the spring rolls were very nice. I grew up in a Vietnamese family and the food served at Hoang Lan is the most authentic Vietnamese food I’ve tasted in London. Much much better than its pricier counterparts on Chiswick High road. Plus the service was friendly both times. I will be back!

A good value (by London standards) Vietnamese restaurant offering a wide selection of dishes. Lemongrass pho was my go-to dish, but others were excellent as well. The staff is friendly and the place attracts a lot of local customers.

Authentic food straight from Vietnam! I came back from Vietnam after spending 3 years in the country and I can say this is by far the most authentic Vietnamese food I've in London so far. I had Fried tofu and a huge bowl of Phở Bò (Beef noodle soup). Both very tasty and its made just like they do in Vietnam which surprises me because I have tried about 10 different Vietnamese in London and none were that good. Fair prices, great food and great service! Will be coming back soon!

A cafe that serves simple and authentic Vietnamese food. Generous portions. The lady owner goes out of her way to attend to the customers. We liked the simplicity of the noodle dish, Pho and reminded us of our stay in Vietnam. We will be back...

Prawn Stir fry - I had a quick lunch - was average (neither good nor bad) and needed a snack after. Service was average. Clean and pleasant eating environment.

It,'s a small quiet place. I had a chicken pho and jasmine tea. The pho bowl was huge! It could be enough for two people. And it was good. Friendly staff, big menu.

We had a take away from here and it was absolutely delicious - filling, fresh and yummy all at a great price. The phone service was excellent and very friendly. They forgot the chopsticks I asked for, which then turned up a few minutes later....
