We love the food served up by the lovely Jane and her staff. It's a regular Saturday lunchtime treat for us - thought I had actually already left a review as been coming here for a number of years now :) Food is always freshly prepared to order and Jane puts alot of effort into offering interesting and amazing specials each week. It's literally a hidden gem, but quality always draws customers !

Lovely little café, great little place with gorgeous food, welcoming staff at a great price! popped in because of posts seen on Facebook and cant recommended enough, the 2 ladies who were working at the time couldn't of been more friendly and helpful! Their Yorkshire pudding wrap was outstanding! Definitely a hodden gem!

So we went today to Hill Top Cafe again! And as expected it was amazing! We had the classic chicken burger, amazing fresh chicken in a fab crunchy coating with generous smashed advocado! And the Big Cheese burger too (soooo much cheese!) Both amazingly fresh, no grease, just real home made fresh produce with fab service as usual x

My friend and I went canoeing at Lakeside Campus and this cafe is just up the hill. We went for a cup of tea and a cake after our session and we so glad we did! A pickle, cheese and sausage roll followed by a crème egg brownie for me and one of the new caramel Scott eggs were to die for. We’ll be back every time we canoe now! Thanks ladies!

Popped in for lunch. Very clean and friendly. Had a tuna and cheese sandwich, it was delicious and the brown bread tasted fresh and homemade, or as good as ! Good value too. Highly recommend a visit if you're passing.

Marks Bistro is a very unusual find compared to the existing cafes, breakfast places and restaurants in the area. They do really good sized breakfast sandwiches with some really interesting sauces to choose from. The Ploughmans they do is also top notch with tonnes of unusual cheeses. They do really good curry (and also sell their own curry pastes). I have also been in for a sunday roast and was very impressed with the quality for just £10. If you like unusual hot sauces you should check out the shelves as they have the finest collection of unusual hot sauces available.

Little jem of a place. Very good Guinness and last week had a guest ale Timothy Taylor's Golden Best.
