Highgain House in Oadby and Wigston

Terrible food. My crispy duck was just skin and I found a very large bone in it. Meat was old and tough. Onions were horrible and I didn’t eat them. What a waste of money. Won’t ever use them again. They also cook with MSG which is totally unnecessary and bad for health.

Lovely food and always hot. Please just stop using MSG in your sauces etc. it’s not necessary and is very off putting. I used to go to a Chinese in Newark that stated No MSG why can’t others do the same. That’s why I can’t give more stars

Rang to place my order and was greeted by rude ,blunt man on the other end. Food was average at best and not that good value. I will take my money elsewhere in future as I don’t care for rude service!

Not used this Chinese for many years. Now I remember why. The main dishes of chicken based meals were aweful almost like the meat had been boiled. Terrible texture and tasteless. The beef dish was'nt much better. The chips were overcooked and fried rice dry. Could never recommend this business.

Had takeaways delivered on time excellent food would recommend any time.delivery to e good easy to order, very tasty food.

We used this takeaway as a result of reading very good reviews on here. We gave them a try and every single dish was spot on. They deliver in good time and so far have never been late. So far no screw ups with the order either and above all else, the food is always really tasty and hits the spot. Anyone reading this and unsure, give them a try, we did and have used them many many times since. Thank you to all the team there, we are already looking forward to our next takeaway (delivery)

I went in here after a so called person said the place was pretty good and I had 2 dishes and the chicken content in the containers was terrible and you didn't get enough This has to be one of the worse Chinese takeaways around and I will not be using the place againAlso the food didn't taste all that brilliant and there are better places to get a takeaway fromTry it and see for yourself but don't say I didn't warn youI can't comment on the dishes I didn't have but I imagine they are all just as bad as each other

I have to get my Chinese from here always friendly staff great food and remember what you order I must go into often lol.

Food always on time, well packed, good sized portions , free prawn crackers when you spend a certain amount.

Best Chinese in Leicester Had a few takeaways from here now and they have never disappointed! Delivery time always what they tell you when you order and food of very high standards.

Chicken was tasteless and spongey both in the chicken curry and sweet and sour balls total waste of money as most of it ended up in the bin

Having used this takeaway for quite some time I have to say that the quality is high and the food very tasty

The lady who answered the phone was very helpful - I stated no MSG and all dishes came free of this substance. I asked for the Triple Crown dish with just prawns and it was just lovely - the children ate chow mien dishes and these were again super tasty with nice fresh veg. Chips came fresh, hot and and crispy! The gentleman who delivered was very polite and the food was piping hot! WELL DONE HIGHGAIN HOUSE --- we loved your food - Thanks

Crispy beef in black bean sauce is out of this world, definitely the best Chinese takeaway we've tried in Leicester
