I have just ordered chips and gravey and salt and pepper ribs and is beautiful the ribs are my frevret love this chippy I thing thy should do a salt and pepper 🌶 box meal 😋 🙌 😍

Went last for tea ,was overcharged by 5.00 which I didn't realise till we got home. The gravy and curry sauce were both very salty,the pies were hard. Won't go again and do not recommend.

Asked for Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken and was made to look like an idiot by the girl behind the checkout like I’d made it up, the chips looked like they had kissed the oil and chucked back out, the salt and pepper beef was dry, old, tough and inedible!! The food this time overall was absolutely shocking, to say it’s normally one of our favourite Chinese recently it’s gone massively down hill! Only thing that tasted fresh was the prawn crackers!! Waste of money and utterly disappointed!

Part of the fish was raw! I brought it back and they only offered a 25% refund because half was eaten. Unbelievable. I’m worried now I’ll end up with food poisoning and end up having a few weeks off work. Absolutely ridiculous I obviously told them to keep the lousy 25% and in return, I will put a review on Google’ absolutely shocking.

I went here for a chinese takeaway.there is no parking except on the street. The premises are small and not much room in the premises. When it's busy very little. You may have to wait awhile for your order. However the food is very good. Prices competitive. The people who serve you are friendly and do their best to be as fast as possible. Well worth a visit if in the area. Nothing as changed. Its a takeaway. Best to preorder your food and you still may have to wait.

I have used this place for the last couple of years, and I believe that it has changed ownership recently, but I personally are not sure. The best thing to do is ring through your order as I find it gets busy, which isn't a criticism, but I like to go on and collect my order. The food is good and reasonably priced, and as I travel all over the country, I am confidently able to say this. As with most takeaways, I think that the shop itself would benefit from a really good refurb and reinvestment. Lastly, this is a cash only shop, so make sure you have some on you when visiting.

We went to chop suey house as the big lamp was closed. A recommendation was the crispy beef. I had the with salt and pepper ribs. The organistaion of the chippy was poor, with food being late for telephone orders. A I can say is the food was appalling and won't be using the CSH again

Easy to order over the phone and ready in 10 minutes. Staff polite and helpful and the food we ordered was delicious. We shared sweet and sour prawns, fried rice and some really tender, meaty ribs. Good value for money would definitely recommend, can't wait to go again.

Good quality chippy, been under new management for approx 1 year, so discount any negative reviews prior to that. Chips are honestly the best in town, had a variety of meals from here and never had a bad one. 5☆

Horrible is what comes to mind. Typical Chinese takeaway, these Chinese chip shops are serving up the worst food in the country, way below par and thrown together. I'm done.

Just got a takeaway from the chop suey house that is now under new management my son had pork fried rice when we got it home it had large prawns in it this is extremely dangerous for anyone with a seafood or shellfish allergy it also had chicken in it so can only presume we where given the wrong meal but that is no excuse some one needs to check the cross contamination issues in this business the chips where good the beef in black pepper sauce was inedible we also had salt and pepper wings and pieces but I didn't think it was worth going any further so they where just put in the bin if you do try it and I believe that people should make their own minds up be very careful if you have any kind of allergy

Standard chippy little but run down but not bad prices.

I don't patronise chip shops usually. That's the word. Usually. But, on a cool Friday teatime, about 8 weeks ago, I just had to have something from the chippy! So, it ended up being chips, pudding and gravy with LOTS AND LOTS of salt and vinegar!! It was SO GOOD !!! Yum yum.

Horrible chips are always nasty fish cooked in same oil as everything else and only got 1* food hygiene........ Avoid like the plague

They are great guys n girls in there. Always willing to help and please with your order! I asked for extra chilli and garlic in my special chowmein and they were only too happy to oblige! Fast and friendly service with quality tasty hot food! Only 1 draw back they don't deliver but as they are always busy I don't think they have the time! Highly recommend!

Not what it was unfortunately...average at best.

Chips peas and gravy, was practically inedible. It's takes a special talent to fcuk this up. Chips were slivers of potato, just bits sold as 'scraps or they throw away. They had been sat in the warmer for ages. As soon as I left they threw in a new bucket of potatoes into the fryer.

Was served cold hard scraps not chips cut my gums disappointed

It's a Chinese run chippy with a wide selection of the sort of food that you would expect in such an establishment. Was very busy when I visited, with a number of people there to collect their telephone orders.
