Bar staff are always so lovely and friendly

Just a great bar to visit lovely atmosphere great staff . It was quiet at the time we visited ,only 2 stops on the tram from the Co-op arena . Alcohol and coffee reasonably price in fact cheap compared to other places visited on Manchester visits . Well worth a visit ,unsure if food available though the crisps were devoured by 3 of us.

came in for a quick bite and a pint on a monday night and it was superb! cheap prices, amazing customer service, special shoutout to ayesha for being so sweet! it was the greatest customer service i have received in a long time, she was super helpful and made sure we were okay throughout our visit. checked up on us before going on her break, made sure our guinness was poured properly haha. great experience all round and made a rainy gloomy evening way more enjoyable. the atmosphere is very chill and cozy.

This wonderful smart drinkery with exquisite pies is all the more inviting because although it is set in the trendy quarter of Ancoats provides non of the pretensions and offrontery of the millennial sterile hostility but all.of the charm required of a clever modern bar without the long winded bullcrap.of its ingerdients usually served by brainwashed obnoxious staff and the inflated prices thats are dragged with it. The staff are there are very engaging and do the job from a customer point of view. Smooth friendly service smiley kind faces a great local inner city crowd from the the local.loft apartment population. Really a big fan of this place a great relaxing place to quaff a few beers and wines and cocktails and I think is prolly ahead of its time 8n terms 9f what a pub should provide to a very broad customer base. Everyone is invited and everyone is catered for beautifully in am atmosphere everyone will feel comfortable in unless you are a lost cause I say go and get your jolly on in Hetheringtons fantastic x

Met Manchesters most miserable bar person (see past reviews). Pleasant bar, nice pies. Don't thing Wetherspoons will be worrying anytime soon.

Coffee was decent, we were the only two in the place so can't comment on atmosphere and we didn't have food.

Really weird experience... When trying to order a drink the woman at the bar would just stare at me with a blank expression for about 30 seconds and would only get my order after the guy at the bar told her to get it. Extremely awkward.

Visited for the first time yesterday evening on my way to the match at the Etihad. Lovely place very friendly staff. Had a nice time chatting to 4 Sporting Lisbon fans and a beautiful air hostess behind the bar. Will definitely be calling again.

Sunday pie and a pint as staying very nearby. Looked extremely busy for matchday the previous day. Lovely veggie pie and tasty mash with proper veggie gravy.

What a pre and post match venue this is. Almost to the point I don't want to share how good it is!. Decent beer, comfortable surroundings, family friendly, good food and a convivial atmosphere. Perfect.

When I lived in the advent flats, we would always venture he for a pint or bite to eat. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Also been here to meet friends after the football and again, a good atmosphere.

Rude waitress made my experience here very uncomfortable! After asking a simple question she gave me bad attitude and through out heard here shouting about and making rude remarks with one of them being called a (nob) ! After confronting her and telling her I’m not here to argue she failed to serve and me and nudge fellow colleagues to serve and took away my half drank pint ! Because of the waitress with pink, short hair I won’t be here again, totally un acceptable way of treating customers

Walking past on the way back from a Man City win, on a cold wet day, we spotted this pub. It was like I had died and gone to heaven to walk into Hetherington's for a pint, venison pie, mash and gravy. The pie was called Deer Santa too. Nice bouncer on the door, pleasant staff, reasonable selection of beers and lovely Christmas decorations. Pity there wasn't more low tables for eating. I don't know what is the point of making people perch on high stools to eat. Top class though at 26 Stg for two mains and two pints.

Great little bar/cafe with plenty of options. Two TVs for sport but never feels packed or loud. Bonus of comfy chairs and a real fire.

Super cosy. Friendly and welcoming staff and great fun quiz nights.
