Heskey's in Liverpool

Ordered from here, Delivery driver turned up, asked for Pin, Gave pin to driver, came inside, checked food to realise that I only received drinks and no food, Went back outside to driver, only for him to use Google translate to say, this is all the restaurant gave him, Contacted restaurant for them to say, nothing they can do, I even asked could I travel down to collect the food and the response i got was to contact Just Eat, Contacted Just Eat and they have said because I gave the pin to the driver and took delivery I am not entitled for any refund, Waste of £44 Thanks Heskeys

said to pick up order at 8:30pm, was stood in the shop till 9:10pm until we got order, salt & pepper wings were tesco southern fried legs with sugar sprinkled on, only entertainment was a punching machine which seems like a scheme for unhappy customers to take their anger out on a machine, while the store makes money, instead of you expressing your anger with the staff, mate also pulled white outside. would avoid.

Whole experience was awful! Ordered on tiger eats and it said it would be ready for 8:28 the food came at 8:50. The burger tasted of a dry onion bargy and was minging, the wings tasted like they where from asda and the chips where plain and boring. Wouldn’t recommend get a maccies instead

Absolutely first class food, Their smash burgers are juicy, flavoursome and are quite addictive. New gem to order from and a great menu too. Honestly try it once and you will be hooked.

Surprised to see such a low average rating. Second time of ordering takeaway last night and my burger was spot on again. Really juicy and a good size with great flavour and excellent value.

Got a slaw chicken burger it was cooked horribly, so oil and way too crunch it was hard to chew, there’s nothing special about their burgers idk how so many people order from them just because of the name, look at the audacity to call their customers a liar, clearly rude, I just order inside the shop and they’re telling me that I didn’t order, I ate the burger so only I’d know how it was, disgusting, should have shown them half of it that I didn’t eat

Highly recommend you try them out food is to a great standard, always freshly made flavourful food, great potion sizes , staff that work here are lovely people, delivery time is perfect your food comes to you piping hot

Missing half the order absolutely useless can’t get it re sent out because it’s Uber eats so you get partial refund if you want food from here pick it up only so you watch them bag everything.

Owner/staff is disrespectful and rude, cant pack their takeaway properly

Freshly prepared, everything is halal, the ratio to sub ratio was a bit out. There was too much meat and the baguette was very flimsy. Which was a same and let down. Apart from that the food was good.

The burger I order I get a mouthful of chilli this cross contamination is a joke and nearly put me in hospital

Always quick and efficient clean and well manners food always lovely and nice cooked to perfection and the staff are always nice.

Came in today and ordered the smash burger og and one smash burger kids meal with cheese. Came with no cheese, the atmosphere was terrible haven’t once’s greeted me so say hi or something and overall just a depressing place. Workers seem miserable and that reflects onto customers. Beef had no flavour although was fresh. Fries were okay but you basically get more chips than burger which is a shame.

Belter gaff, Friendly staff, foods always nice what is there to complain about? If your ordering online there might be a little wait but if you go in your in and out within 10 mins depending on the order, nothing but good vibes from d staff in heskeys cmonnn 🙌🏼👊🏽

Have the potential to be 5* burger are nice but since changed the chips not as nice now they come in a box and are soggy and sweaty on delivery

I order frequently from Heskey’s and have gone to the restaurant in person a couple of times too! Awesome staff, great burgers and wings, excellent meal bundle options. They’re super receptive to special requirements and will even treat you on your birthday if you’re a regular (and prove it)! Honestly one of my favourite takeaways if not the top choice. There’s a reason our weekend takeout choice is nearly always Heskey’s! Would send a picture of the burger but that got devoured quickly!

Mustard put hairs on my chest it was that strong, but my partner really liked it, food was lovely. Delivered hot and fresh.

First time order from here. OMG take no notice of the bad reviews, honestly the food was amazing. I had the meat and greet burger, the meat was amazing. The sauce was amazing, just a gorgeous burger. I also ordered the tendorlicious fries and they are gorgeous, that sauce thats on it is lovely. The food arrived on time an the food was hot. GORGEOUS DARLING.

I saw this place through the @scouseghettogourmet who praised the burgers and how nice all the food was and he wasn’t lying ! I went and got some curly fries and the Hungry Bacon Burger and it was one of the nicest burgers i’ve ever had, so fresh and flavourful. I’ve now became a regular and whenever I go i’m always greeted by the friendly woman who works at the front. I definitely recommend the curly fries, waffle fries, hungry bacon burger, the flurry’s and the heskeys special sauce. I’m definitely going to try the chicken burgers the next time I go. It’s absolutely gorgeous!!!

Absolutely shocking place, ordered the dirty fries hot dogs and the philly cheese steak and it was absolutely shocking! The hog dog was what we first noticed, no onions or sauce just a sprinkle of cheese and that was it. Then the dirty fries, they wasn't skin on fries, they where basic cheap fries which where soggy and far to salty to the point where they wasn't edible. The philly cheese steak had no peppers, and the bun was so mushy and soggy. First time ordering and definitely won't be going back.

Never again burger bland and over cooked.chose bbq wings which would of been the best but there basically the spicy wing covered in bbq sauce but they dont tell you that even tho has a spicy wing option dont see point as thats not bbq indont do spice so coukdnt even bave them chips were like bricks time arrived but that will be down to uber.waste of money

First time we've ordered food from Heskeys and I highly recommend. Hot dogs are full of flavour. Burgers are fresh with plenty of toppings especially Heskeys own burger sauce. Fabulous will definitely be ordering again.

Boss lad, boss in house staff as well. Ordered via UberEats where the driver stole the food, spoke to the lad who dealt with the situation perfectly and the both of us had a boss rant about the melt of a driver. The staff went out of their way to fulfill the special instructions which is a quality hardly ever seen as well so I will not let this experience put me off. They're also getting charged extortionate rates by Uber so best speaking to them directly and they'll make you feel like a mate instead of just a name like Uber does

I am so impressed by heskeys, the food is delicious, especially the Flamin hot burger and the old skool cake. There is excellent customer service and food has always been delivered quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a happy stomach.😍😍😍

WOW!! We had burgers and chips and it was awesome! The burgers were perfectly cooked, tasty and the house sauce was yummy. The chips had a seasoning on them. No idea what it was, but it was sooooo good and I just kept eating them! Really tasty, piping hot when delivered and well worth the money.

IF YOUR SEEING THIS, JUST BUY MCDONALDS. Soo, I ordered MEGA BURGER BOX MEAL FOR 1 (£17.95) and Waffle fries (£3.89)in Uber eats . And I could have honestly have gotten something else. Just didn’t like it and the beef doesn’t have any flavour, but the topping help just a little bit but just wasn’t good in general. Only cake and custard.

Ordered a burger meal and while eating found a big chunk of plastic in my burger that I had been chewing on. Took back the next day to which the service was not great as the girl had no idea what to do and just threw some change at me.

Woman on the phone was lovely despite my hangriness. Some guy is getting slapped silly for robbing my order honestly fantasising about bouncing his head off a curb. Don’t order from Deliveroo just order through them or just eat :)

Just arrived for a take out and can honestly say they are the kindest staff and foods always fresh and piping hot. I can honestly say I’ve not been anywhere better. The quality of food reflects overall. Thanks again 🙌xx

Spent £54 Burger average but not average price £12 Asked for Chicken strips got wings Skin on fries were curly fries Philly cheesesteak very small expected it to be a long sun roll, also had no cheese on it, seen a few ppl say same thing and they reply saying there is cheese on it, trust me there ain't Lemon pepper chicken wings were boss tho

Waited 15 mins in store after previously phoning for the order. Both burger chips cold Girl on the desk very arrogant Farr Overpriced for what I got and the customer experience.

This is a real disappointment. The food when you get it is actually really tasty. However twice we have ordered with them, and twice they have forgotten items from the order - most importantly forgot the burger! When you call them, they blame the delivery company but the second time it happened I spoke to the delivery man as he was still outside the house. They then told me they would deliver the burger to us and it would be 10-15 mins. It's nearly 1 hour later and I'm still waiting, and they've stopped answering their phone! Shame as I gave them a second chance as their burger tasted amazing the first time. They should invest in a new manager who actually cares about customer service.

Phone service was awful, went and picked it up, waited a further 10 minutes after arriving in there, food was basically thrown to me over the counter, got home, chips were freezing, like cardboard and burger was freezing aswell. Quite disappointed after hearing alot of good things about it, also expected more considering the prices. Definitely won't be going in there again.

Placed an order for collection, they said ten minutes and everything was ready when we got there. Got an OG burger and a hungry bacon burger, both tasted great and loved the way it was smashed! Ordered salt n pepper wings too which tasted fab and were really crispy. Will deffo be ordering again already picked for the next time!

Spend £40 via UberEats for: 1 Philly cheese steak baguette which was small for the price but tasty! The smashed loaded fries were good and probably the most ample sized portion for the money. Chicken strips were £6.50 for 3 thin strips?? This was shocking as I ordered it as a main meal to go alongside the fries so a total rip off Coca Cola was 1.99 (which I don’t mind paying at all) but when the can came it had 0.95p on? It’s illegal to sell products for a higher price when it’s clearly marked with a lower price.

Chicken burnt no lettuce or sauce would not eat there again!!

after all the hype travelled all the way from garston for a burger that was burnt with no flavour in it for the price as well followed by soggy oreo’s sorry aldis biscuits not happy.

10/10 food. BBQ wings were banging. Cheeto dust fries with heskeys sauce was amazing. Wasn’t a fan of Oreo’s but when I got Deep fried Oreo’s I had to order another one because it was delicious.

Got a Cheeto chicken burger, Dorito fries and some barbecue wings. The food came to my house fresh and hot the food was brilliant and wings were crispy and covered in barbecue sauce. Heskeys is a somewhere where I would definitely go again, and would recommend to my friends.

The food is amazing meat is fresh and juicy and was by far the most delicious fast food I have had . The portions are very massive and filling. Also the driver is very friendly. Will definitely be getting from here again .

Been wanting to try here for a while disappointed in it really £7.50 for probably one of the worst burgers I’ve had fries were lukewarm the flurry’s were sound though but I only ordered them to bump my order up for delivery deffo won’t be back.

Very generous with the meat on the wraps with a real authentic char grill taste to the wrap. Deep fried Oreos were like nothing ive had before, if I had to describe the flavour part fresh donut topped with the flavour of choice. Warm gooey and a nice little pop with every first bite. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Expensive, above average quality for a takeaway However, seriously needs to improve portion sizes in order for me to return. Philly cheese steak which was 6.50 was a small hot dog roll with not much steak for the price, we planned on sharing between 2 people but it was not much bigger than a mini fillet at KFC 🤦‍♂️ Wings at 6.50 also expensive, 5 wings in total we received (1.30 per wing.)

Just ordered from Heskeys in oldswan, its quite new so didnt know what to expect. The food was delicious. We got a variety of things, burgers, hotdog, philly cheese steak sub, waffle fries, shakes and cake with custard. The only thing that wasnt to my taste was the chocolate shot. But everything else was lovely. Was all ready in 15 minutes. Packaging is recyclable too. Definitely recommend it.

Ordered food today for the what we got it is was highly over priced. The waffle fries was a box full of bottom of the bag small break offs of crispy bits. The chicken burger was a mess. The corn come ice cold like it had just come out of the fridge and they missed items off our order. I have felt violently sick since eating my meal and the girl on the phone was really snotty. Would not recommend
