Herd’s chicken fries are the best loaded fries

Delivery driver did an excellent job of delivering food still warm which is not common in our area.

It is a very nice place to come and try out it has lovely food just the only part that would put me off it sometimes is the price for the burgers and the chips which is understandable for a decently new business the burgers are nice and have many options to choose from the loaded fries are very nice aswell the wait times inside of the store are abit long to wait but it isn't to long to wait overall would recommend for some burgers and chips

2 hours delivery time and still late. Nice food but not sure if they can handle the demand.

Massive portion and the food was lovely.

Korean chicken wings were flavourless and the skin was greasy. The old fashioned burger was a bit better but you couldn't taste the sauce. Really disappointed, I had high hopes from social media!

burgers where lovely as always!! but have to say the fries the last few times haven't been disappointing ..they are very small and really hard :( if the fries where better it would be amazing!

Herd is a takeaway burger joint delivering high quality cuts of meat with interesting specials. I was especially attracted by their selection of Vegan options! We had the Korean Vegan Chik'n burger which was delicious. The seitan is homemade and very tasty, the batter and sauce were lovely. Even the bun was impressive as it literally tasted like a 'normal' brioche. We also had the Cauliflower Wings which were really good. The Cauliflower had a lot more bite than other Cauliflower wings i have tried but I thought it worked very well. The fries are like gourmet version of McDonald's. They were amazing, definitely get a portion each! Overall I really enjoyed this meal and I would definitely come back again. Definitely give it a try if you are in the mood for some tasty burgers 😋

Called in yesterday on way through Comber. Order for 3 people was ready in 20 minutes. Menu has lots of options and I choose the burger with bacon. It was delicious and skinny chips lovely. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. No photos as I just wanted to tuck in 😁

Said ready in 20 mins, placed the order then it changed to 45 mins🤦‍♂️ chips were cold and they forgot the bbq dip that I paid for. Burger very good however

We saw a post on social media about Herd a few months ago and arranged to visit friends outside comber for an evening just to try these burgers! Well I have to say the food didn't disappoint! There were eight of us in total, everyone had a great meal and we were all full after. The herd burger was particularly nice and I can't wait for another opportunity to try other items on the menu.

I got the blue bull and it has to be one of the best burgers I've ever had, double thin patte real beef flame grilled taste, proper bits of bacon and a very nice marmalade relish, very tasty

Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Highly recommend to my friends and family

Traveled all the way from Lisburn to get the burger and although the website states that it is open from 12-9pm on a Friday we arrived at 6:15 and it was closed no note or no Facebook post saying why it was closed

Went to collect my order from the comber store as instructed after I got the notification it was ready and the place was closed? Tried calling them and it said the persons phone was turned off. Also tried the dundonald store and it was also closed

Took over an hour, burger was mediocre at best, ordered double with extra patty, 3 patties in total, probs less than 100g of meat, soggy buns, fries where terrible, not skin on as described, not salted, just cold mcdonalds end if the night chips, wont be back

One of the best burgers I've ever tasted in my life. Small sit in area and take away. That burger though...

Burgers are nice and local meat used but I still think they are over priced for the size of them. The staff are friendly but I cant remember the last time they answered the phone, its always turned off.

Can't speak for the quality as the food is still not here after 1h 30m.. at nearly £70 for the order. I would of expected better.

Have eaten a few times out of Herd in their newer branch in Kings Sq. Every time has been excellent. Making a different choice next time round is difficult when everything is so delicious. Most recently we got the chicken fries with pepper sauce. Their home made chicken popcorn is amazing, I am definitely going to try their chicken burger next time. Also, their Mexican style fries with guac, salsa, sour cream and chilli beef is next level! Inspiration to try the Spicy Juan👍🍔 would most definitely recommend, can’t wait to re-order!

Fast service. Really delicious burgers. Tastiness has improved over time, unlike practically every other restaurant which gradually degrades ingredients and service over time.

I hate to write a bad review as iv always given 5 stars for you guys iv always enjoyed here and we usually have from here at weekends for a treat as we both work Saturdays but aw tonight was not good! I usually love the food chips were as hard as rocks! all fairly cold pepper sauce was a little different? but also you changed to smaller tubs which sucks a bit cus I love it ..but yeah cold... and chips were really bad ..iv written loads of 5*reviews for here but this was not good 😐 disappointed

I’ve eaten at a thousand burger joints in the U.S., and this place ranks among the best. They do it right here, this is the burger you’ve been looking for! Also had their brisket grilled cheese and Korean wings on a second trip. Phenomenal as well. Make the drive and check it out!

In particular the chips and the chicken chip were inedible. Burger was edible but the rest wasn’t. Wouldn’t order again

Herd NI has the most delicious food. Our crew feasted on the Original, the Herd, and the Flock. All were wonderfully delicious. Service was warm and friendly. Come here, it’s fabulous!

I have ordered from here before and loved the food, so thought I’d try it again. Order was confirmed, but never arrived. Will not order from here again.

Unbelievable burgers! Everything cooked to order to a high standard. Better yet the beef for the burgers comes from a Farm in Comber.

Paid £40 for two burgers and chips, and one loaded fries. The chips were completely inedible. There didn’t appear to be any potato in them at all, to the point that they made a snapping sound when bitten. Totally inedible. Really poor quality and vastly overpriced.

Best Burger I've had in a long time. It was amazing and the fact that it's locally supplied beef makes it even better. The owner (sorry can't remember your name) was so friendly and made the experience even better Looking forward to our next visit

Sunday afternoon so not busy at all, got my order and drove home to eat, once I got home my totally plain burger had cheese, my bbq bacon burger had tomato which I asked to be omitted, and on the 5 minute drive home the chips were Baltic. Staff taking orders were nice to be fair and if the burgers had of been what we asked for I think the prices would be acceptable

Went to Herd. Burgers were ok. Tasted nice enough. Sat in. Bit cold so closed door but made the seating area very smoky. Chips were abit soggy. Chicken wings very dry. And one of other couples had a special with pulled pork. They said could not taste pulled pork. Its ok. Service ok but forgot our drinks. Would not rush back but would eat in it again. Burgers seem to be there thing.

Always perfect, quality of food is top notch. Cooked beautifully and well worth the money. Never a disappointment. Our go to takeaway and there is something for everyone even the plainest of eaters!

What a find! Delighted, we had a burger & brisket chilli loaded fries. On line ordering was easy, staff were friendly & the food was great. Suffice to say its a 40 minute drive we'll be making again very soon.

All my opinion - I appreciate you're providing people a living, however I had to mention how dissapointed we were this evening as first time customers. 1h20m from order to delivery - Was a Saturday night. Burger I recieved was about the same size as a double cheesburger from well known Mc restaurant - but 4x the price. Cheesy chips had some horrible liquid 'cheese' which was flavourless. French fries were a little undercooked, had quite a higher ammount of 'potato eyes' which does reduce percieved quality. Wife ate about 25% of her chicken loaded fries thing. Chicken bites have a poor quality to them. Onion rings soggy. Would order the burger again if 30% cheaper. Only thing I'd stomach again. Wouldn't order the chips again. Wouldnt't order the loaded chicken fries again.

Best burger i’ve ever had, hands down

First time tonight and I loved it! Ordered online for a scheduled pickup. The place is a well oiled machine. It was ready on time, warm and beautiful. The beef is amazing quality and full of flavour.

Ordered here a few times and never disappointed but 4 chicken wings with barely any chicken on them (they did taste nice for all the chicken there was) for the price. Chip container not filled and squashed burger. Won't be back considering the price. Still hungry after the meal.

I’ll travel anywhere to sample a good burger, and I’ve tried a lot of places. This wee hidden gem was a solid 5 star review. The burger was amazing. If I pay £8 or over for a burger, it better be good, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return and pay for this again!!

Went here with the family. Something for everyone and the staff were very friendly and engaging with the kids. Would recommend ordering well in advance at the weekends (peak time) to ensure you’re not disappointed. Would also highly recommend the “Spicy Juan”. 👌🏼

Chips were freezing. Chicken wings were basically just bone.

Order delivered with a burger missing. Was told by delivery driver he would go down and get it. 20 mins later after no burger arriving, i rang and was told it would be here in 15 mins (poor already) and that i could get a refund on just eat. 30 mins later rang up again as no arrival to Ross - who decided to argue with me saying i had cancelled it (had not) and was ignorant throughout the process. Then when the burger was finally delivered an hour late, Ross decided he wouldn't apologise for the £10 burger that wasnt delivered, he would just hand me it without even looking at me and leave (poor again) .Theyre lucky their food is good as their service is appalling.

Great place. Have sat in and had delivery. Both good and quick. Great burgers and grilled cheese. Worth a visit Cater to Gluten Free with their buns. Not all items can be but still a decent selection.

My wife’s burger was barely warm when it arrived and her chips were cold and required reheating. My steak was nice but again the fries were cold. I think possibly the packaging needs rethought as there’s no covering for the chips. 1st time I’ve had from Herd after hearing very good reports, unfortunately our first experience was disappointing given the Price charged.

Food quality was good burger was very tasty. The food arrived freezing. The delivery driver couldn’t find my house for 15 minutes. I told him that there was a contact number to call me and there wouldn’t have been a issue in finding my house.

The chips were stone cold which was really disappointing as I'm not far out of comber.

Food arrived on time but unfortunately it was cold and had to be reheated! We have ordered before and will order again as the food is lovely!! Just unfortunate it was cold tonight

We just sampled a couple of Herd burgers (on delivery). Right on time and well worth the money. Absolutely delicious. Best burgers anywhere. Full stop.

The Fowl burger was delicious. The fries were much better than last time as they were too salty before.

Absolutely amazing grub, fantastic service. Didn’t catch his name had specs and smelt of burger grease but nonetheless great chat and extremely fast service. The burger melted in your mouth and the house sauce was to die for. This is a must visit if you are in the slums of comber. The second time today ive had happiness between two buns. On a real though watch out for the slippy floors and try out the original burger with house sauce.
