Great place for 'home cooking' style meals. Hearty fare at very reasonable prices.

I was having a beef dinner and had ate a bit but was leaving it to cool as it was very hot! Unfortunately a member of staff lifted it not asking if I was finished. I did let the staff know and they did offer to do another one. But it was very embarrassing to ask for your dinner back! So a very expensive 2 slices of beef and a can of gone for £10!

Great service and a brilliant selection of hot and cold food. Served by great staff in a spotless restaurant. Worth a visit when you are in Coleraine.

Lunch with 4 friends we all enjoyed our food. The staff were amazing, over and beyond. Really friendly staff, were so good to our dog. Treats and water for the dog. Highly recommend.

Friendly, helpful, decent and tasty. After several years of being a regular customer, I recommend Heralds at 22 to anyone.

Fantastic service, very reasonably priced, friendly staff, dog friendly and I will definitely be back. Thank you to the team at Heralds for a lovely breakfast and providing both myself and my dog with the best customer service we have received in years. My dog was offered a treat and a bowl of water whilst I had my breakfast which was very kind of them.

Super dog friendly cafe. Visited this morning for breakfast. The food was lovely, and our pup was given a few doggie biscuits and a bowl of water. The best bit was we were all inside!!

"22" is a place I like to visit when in Coleraine. Very central with friendly staff. If you only want coffee and doughnuts just to take the weight off your feet, or a big breakfast to see you through the day then they will accommodate. Recommended.

Paula and her team at 22 offer good old fashioned, wholesome, home-style cooking in a comfortable, welcoming and friendly setting. In an age of fast food and pre-prepared snacks it is so comforting to sit down to a proper dinner of meat and two veg, whilst knowing that everything is fresh and prepared on the premises. 22 has been around for a long time in Coleraine, I hope it's here for many more years to come.

Lovely cafe, just what every town needs. The dog friendliness is super! next time I visit my pup will be with me. Lovely food at good prices, give them a try better than the Costa fortune and starpuke coffee shops! A few reviews on here are a bit out of hand and I'm sure exaggerated. The experience I had was what I expected.

Went in there today for the first time in years and will never go in again. Food was terrible. The staff was fighting amongst themselves in front of us. And I didn't see the dog friendly sign outside until I was leaving, or else I would never have went in, in the first place. Very unhygienic.

Staff are very friendly, and food reasonably prices unfortunately that all the good things I can say. We got 4 dinners, the potatoes had a burnt taste to them and the vegetables I can't describe at all but had a rotten taste of them. The water syphon had a rotten and blue mould slice of lemon at the bottom of it.

Popped in here for some lunch whilst visiting in the city. All I can say is the chicken curry was so so tasty, I was just too full up to eat another plate. Staff were lovely and friendly, would definitely recommend a visit, great selection of food, lite bites and pastries...yummy!!

We called in for a bite of lunch and were made feel so welcome and the MOUTH-WATERING choices are properly cooked and tasty. Will definitely be back to sample more delicious lunches. Special mention to Geraldine who made us feel so welcome and her fantastic service 😀.

Whilst not busy, the food on offer was reasonably priced and looked appealing. Sausage roll, soup and cappuccino were purchased- no complaints Worth another visit. If you have mobility issues, toilets were upstairs, hencr not 5 stars-

Called at this coffee shop to get a light lunch my daughter and two granddaughters were with me. We ordered two toasties ham and cheese and pancakes with bacon and a ham sandwich Order was wrong for starters my granddaughters pancakes were hard and bacon fried to a crisp almost burnt The toasties made me sick when opened the ham was grey. I told the Owner why the food was left we did get a refund I wanted them to check the food for future customers The reason I'm writing this bad review is that they haven't learned as 3 days later my daughters sister in law went by pure chance to same place to complain on the ham also They need to get their act together here

Herald's at 22 is a simple little cafe. It's not up market but its clean and the food is good. It has a canteen feel and the seating is uncomfortable but if you're looking for a sweet treat and a cuppa after a day of shopping then it's worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If the seating was better we'd probably visit more often.

Lovely place to go for a cup of tea or coffee or something to eat the staff are so friendly and you can even have a bit of banter with them when I'm in Coleraine that's where i go for something to eat every time.

Great food . However the toilets are up 2 flights of stairs

Homely. Friendly. Fresh and delicious 👌

My food was nice and my niece enjoyed the stew. However a lesson in making toasties is required... soggy tuna and onion since the toastie was only toasted on the outside 🤔. Staff could appear friendlier and not make me feel like such an inconvenience. A bit on the pricey side, wouldnt rush back!!!
