Henry's in South Holland

Considering voted 3rd in England I felt very let down. The fish virtually dripped with fat, not nice. Did mention it the waiter, brushed aside. Not impressed

We used this shop a couple of times recently, and were very impressed by quality of the fish, sausage and chips. Definitely recommend. Great service too

Spent over £14 and only ate 1 mouthful as it was absolutely awful, chips were hard gravy was more lumps than liquid will never ever buy from this chip shop again

Lovely tasty fish and chips, and chicken and chips on Saturday eve this week. Had curry sauce and mushy peas and also lovely. Collected it and they asked me to wait outside and bought it out. Very hot and tasty.

Henry’s Fish & Chips in Long Sutton. Haven’t had fish and chips in ages, well worth the wait, very pleasant staff, excellent value. Non greasy and good size portions. Will be visiting again very soon. Highly recommend

First time I have been to Henry’s fish shop Long Sutton . Easy parking . Ok I went in and was greeted by a young lady who was serving with a smile ....very nice natured and very polite . Nothing was too much trouble for her . I had cod and chips . Chunky chips very nice and the fish cooked perfect. The portion sizes were very good and the taste was excellent. Good value not expensive. And after I had that lovely taste for ages ,where as some places leave you with a clogged mouth with the fat . But Henrys are just the opposite. I travelled from Boston to try these and the extra miles was well worth it . Henry’s top marks for taste ,fat chips and top staff very very good experience. Henry’s you have the correct formula with these points . Also I like the little arrangement with the shops . Charming little place long Sutton . Love you Henry’s. Top marks to the lad who was frying them as well .

Really brilliant food. We will be visiting more in future and happy to recommend to anyone looking for a good chippy!

Collected dinner for 7 people tonight. Well cooked, good quality and reasonable price. Will definitely use again if we come back to this area with our caravans.

Best fish and chips I have eaten in a long time! Coming from Scotland, I have high standards when it comes to my fish suppers and these guys hit the nail on the head! Will definitely be back when I’m back visiting family! Thanks again guys!

Have visited this establishment on a regular basis over the years and will continue to do so . Good variety of foods available in addition to fish and chips, including pizzas as well. Staff always friendly.

the quality of the chips are poor, and the portion are lousy fish was ok, but this is supposed to be a chip shop, they need to take a better look at themself..

Very poor, may be they should try leaving the chips to cook a bit longer and have some decent colour and taste. Been a here a few occasions to give them a chance, but always end up disappointed. Staff change on a regular basis, not surprising as most of them spend more time looking at their phones and that includes the owners son who should try smiling a bit more and offering some decent customer service. Go to The Jolly Fryer in Wisbech - great service and great food, Worth the trip, give this a miss.

If you fancy fish and chips or anything plus chips well worth a visit, excellent service wide range of menu choices. You can take away or eat in at their restaurant

Had cause to visit Henry's last evening and purchased Scampi and Chips. Excellent food and great value for money. Keen to recommend. Very well done.

Like many, fish and chip supper is an expensive treat, but as we had the grandchildren for a sleepover they were very excited that we had planned for a fish and chip supper whilst watching Paddington. I was really disappointed when my husband returned with them and honestly, if the children weren't excitedly waiting for them I'd have taken them back. The chips looked and tasted as though they had been heated up so often they had just let them go hard and cold and dipped them back into the fat when ordered. The fish however was nice. Such a shame that for the sake of cooking up a fresh batch leading to satisfied customers they have lost my custom for good. Obviously no pride in their product or they wouldn't have served them. They were so very obviously not fit for purpose. Should have taken local advice and gone to Baxtors!

Called in tonight for sit down fish and chips and bottle of Diet Coke shame it was spoiled by the cheap unbranded tartare sauce

We have always gone to Henrys for fish and chips. It is definitely the best in town. Even though we have 5 miles to travel it is well worth the time and travel.

Que comprar un pescado de la cena cada 3 semanas Henrys. Es preparado en carne de goteo y hemos encontrado siempre sabe bien. Ninguna de esas patatas fritas anémicos que utilizamos aquí buscando en Kent. El pescado bueno y te dan una muy buena parte. Nunca lo usé, pero hay un pequeño restaurante en el lateral, ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio.

Bought fish and chips here twice both times it was a case of find the fish Very poor and it seems to be well known for this problem will never go in again

La calidad varía de razonablemente buena a realmente horrible. Es un poco una lotería si tendrá buena patatas fritas o horrible, no hay término medio, sólo un 50 / 50 apostar. Todo está preparado en el goteo, que o te encanta o odio. No tartas bonitas y las pizzas son también bastante buena. Si quieres pescado y patatas fritas, macizos es muy buena relación calidad-precio y es una porción razonable. Sólo la lotería de "Es este un buen o un mal día" por las patatas que añade emoción cada vez

We have take away fish and chips from here quite often, some of the best in the area. They offer a wide range of other meals and have a small restaurant also. Recommended.

Excellent fish and chips with a few add ons such as pizza. The staff are friendly and efficient. Parking is available adjacent to the chip shop also.

We had the set menu for lunch and it was okay, but the drinks were cold. It was cheap though so you can't expect fine dining! Would go again

A great place to get your Fish and Chips plus a lot more. The staff in the main are friendly and the food in the main excellent. A great chippy that you can eat in.

I'm not local to Long Sutton (live 65 miles away) but travel in the area regularly and always stop for fish & chips, great value, great food and great service.Proper fast food.
