food was absolutely delicious, amazing drinks and our server ange was lovely n very helpful!

Had a brilliant visit - food was great and we all found something we loved! Stand out was the pork belly Singapore rice ❤️ Noise was a bit loud for catching up/chatting so maybe next time we will sit on the middle floor not the bottom, but otherwise a great time.

Loved it! Obvs got over excited by the amount of options on the menu, over ordered (as it should be) - all amazing, had to take some food home and now we’re as full as bao buns

Our server Jay was brilliant. The perfect amount of personal space and attentiveness you desire at a restaurant. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Overall spectacular. Ordered the Full Loaded Pho, Sui Mai and the sas-shoe-an “I cannot spell it” Fries along with another dish I forget the name. Great all round, highly recommend the bear head ice cream!

The food and service here are beyond amazing! Jay provided a lovely service. My go to dishes are the beef pho and Korean wings, highly recommend Hello Oriental!

Really cool vibe, great staff Jay is super kind. Food wise, good food however it could use some authenticity flavour and preparation wise (eg chicken) One thing It could benefit massively is K-pop instead of anime on the screen (my mates words) but kinda agree. WISH IT WAS A POCHA tho like in Korea with a pocha vibes

Was looking forward to this but honestly was a big disappointment. The server who greeted us was nice and the building is pretty cool but the food came out at different times (which we weren't told about) so our sides were cold before we got our mains. The dishes were very expensive and honestly not that good. £7 for bought in vegan soup dumplings which tasted like dry frozen veg inside a bit of plain dough is a rip off. It didn't help that our food got delivered to the wrong table twice and I think adding a mandatory service charge and then asking for a tip is pretty cheeky especially when the food is just dumped in front of you. We used the January discount but honestly that still didn't help, won't be back.

Went to Hello Oriental with high hopes however was unfortunately not the experience I hoped for. The host who welcomed us was nice but overall the service was poor, with food just been plonked on our table and almost been taken to the wrong table. The food was okay, but came out at all different times. Thank god it was the January deal as the food was on the higher side of expensive and without the discount very expensive.

Only negative I have is was quite slow service. Otherwise excellent food with the selection of dreams and great chill atmosphere

The food is great, a little pricey. The venue itself is big and impressive. I just really didn't like the overall atmosphere. Perhaps this was a one off, but they had the absolute worst DJ I've ever heard blasting out music for the whole venue to hear. The worst part of this place is that you're forced to use QR codes to order your food... Come on people, let's leave that in June 2020 where it belongs. Even the service was slow and they ignored my request for a glass of tap water at the first time of asking. It's a shame because the crispy chilli beef I had was delicious, but I honestly don't know if I can face going back to this venue again. I went on my own and just felt like I was being judged the whole time. All I wanted to do was sit down and eat a succulent Chinese meal.

Best birthday ever!! Came to Hello Oriental for a birthday meal and it was fantastic!! Food was perfect, loved the option to play board games at the table. My sons both love sushi and they said it was the best sushi they have ever had!! Jay our server was amazing. Even going out of his way to make something off menu for my youngest who was desperate to try soft shell crab but without seasoning! A fantastic end to 2024 and look forward to coming back in 2025! Xx

Have been twice to this place but I have to say that the food is way below expectations. The menu is huge and sometimes can't be hard to pick what to order, but most importantly the food is nothing special, very bland taste and expensive for what is being served.

My god what a place! The best part of it is that you don’t need to make small talk with anyone

Amazing choice of food and drinks. I loved the crème brûlée bubble tea! The sushi was fab, the dim sum were perfectly cooked. I loved every bit of it! It’s rare to find somewhere with a decent selection of bubble drinks and good food in the same place. The staff were helpful and super efficient and the atmosphere was perfect for holding a conversation (music wasn’t too loud).

Really Fantastic food, A slight issue is the bad signal to order via QR scan.

Great food with a huge selection of food, scan the QR code at the table and food arrives. We had prawns in wrappers and pork bau buns-delicious with a beverage at 45£

If at any point you plan on being a food hall, please let me know (which you are advertising as). You can take your QR code personal information harvesting and shove it where the sun doesnt shine. I love food halls, I will order at the counter and get what I want, this isnt possible here apparently. I saw QR only, and left. Not as advertised at all

Everything was good except for Bao Buns. I'm really disappointed with them. Ver little meat, only salad in them and in this price excepted better.

Fantastic food, incredible service. Plenty to keep the omnivores, veggies, kids and even the dog, very happy. Really fresh, flavourful food Massive shout out to Jay who was serving us - phenomenal customer service! We'll definitely be back

Algo de comida vino caliente y algo fría. Algunos platos eran mejores que otros, por ejemplo el pollo frito coreano era agradable, caliente y se entregaba rápidamente. Teníamos dos bollos de bao que carecían de sabor y muy fríos. Las bebidas tardaron mucho en llegar, así que no fue agradable esperarlos mientras comían comida picante. El concepto es interesante. Sin embargo, le falta estructura cuando está ocupado, esperamos una hora por un plato y terminamos rindiéndonos y teniendo que reembolsarlo ya que habíamos terminado todo lo demás hace 20 minutos. Las gambas eran gambas horribles, grasientas y baratas, ¡no es lo que esperarías por £ 9 por cuatro piezas! Quizás lo intentemos de nuevo en un día más tranquilo.

Very tasty food. I ordered the spicy beef pho and it was sooo comforting - the spice was just to my level and the portion size very generous, plenty of beef - easily could feed 2. The spicy chicken wings were also flavour packed and again met my high level of spicy. The nasi goreng was a little tomatoey but tasted fine. The service was great, really friendly and the atmosphere very chilled and relaxed. Order and pay all via qr code. The menu was so large with lots of options, apart from roast - pretty much everything halal

Really really good food. I got the beef pho and it came with so many peices of beef which was really tender. So many options and they have all been good of the ones I’ve tried and I’ve been at least 6 times. Beautiful cool interior and a good spot for a date

Food was edible but really unpleasant, disappointing

The food was good but waited a long time to receive it. Salt & pepper chips arrived quickly but we didn’t have any drinks with it, waited 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive, 30 minutes on the Korean fried burger then after waiting an hour for the prawn won tons we asked for them to be cancelled and a staff member refunded it.

Food here is good but the service is hopelessly slow. Waited an hour for wontons that we then cancelled because we had to leave. Looks like they're prioritising takeaway and not seated customers.

Recommend the Korean chicken! Food came quickly and was really nice. It’s a different type of venue being underground

Atmosphere is great! Service is good. Food is okay. In my view, there are lots of other restaurants nearby where you can find the same foods at almost same price but with a better taste. Over all, you won't regret going there, but, you will feel like, "it could have been better".

A great, inexpensive, freshly cooked meal. Unusual but interesting drinks choices and app ordering, which I need to get used to.

First time here last weekend, and I was pretty impressed. I ordered food & drink via a QR code, and it turned up on the table as soon as it was ready. Great welcoming service, all staff we dealt with were friendly. We had sweet & sour chicken ( the portion was huge, so we would probably only order one between us next time), noodles and salt, and pepper chips. The 2 4 1 cocktail hour went down well. Already booked again. One major negative was the sheer state of the toilets, but I dont want to dwell on that as beside that everything was great.

Very tasty food, got the salt and peppered chips and crispy chili beef, and nice interior with good music. Quite expensive but not used to Manchester so perhaps normal for the area but very nice nonetheless.

Mostly go for the fruit bubble teas which are consistently good. The few times I have ordered food have been tasty and as expected.

We came for an evening meal it's 3 places in one we went to the bottom one food was nice served really quickly you order it all through a qr code you have to register and be verified but it doesn't take long the food was nice nothing to set the world on fire but does the job

Food is amazing. I'd highly recommend the sourdough prawn toast, very crispy 😋 staff were nice enough. Ordering is via QR code on your table. Even with all I have written I will not be going back due to the state of the toilets. In a word they were DISGUSTING! I'm not against male/female toilets but if you're going to have them in a restaurant they need to be constantly checked. The filth was something I hadn't experienced in a long time looking similar to the toilets at the end of a music festival. It's a shame because the food was really very good.

One of my favourite places to eat. Great atmosphere and the food is always so tasty. I recommend the beef bun hue, the Korean chicken (not the hot Korean chicken which is very hot), the crispy chilli beef and save room for the custard bao.

Good food that is freshly prepared and seemed to be entirely cooked on the premises. A wide menu of Asian food primarily Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese.

Great service, really friendly staff and cool place to eat. Genuinely some of the best Sui Mai you can get, had to tell my mum. Great range of food, it really covers all the bases especially if you're craving Korean and Dim Sum at the same time. There's even sushi. The music was deafeningly loud. We spent the meal in mild discomfort shouting at one another and even the wait staff would have to yell to be heard. The DJ couldn't/ wouldn't lower the volume. It was like eating in a night club and it wasn't enjoyable. It was louder than a gig and the acoustics meant the sound just bounced around. As great as the food was we probably won't go back based on how painfully loud the music was - it made the experience really exhausting. Left with ringing ears and crackly voices. Takeaway though? Absolutely.

Came to Hello Oriental for the first time today. We were served by Jay absolutely amazing service very attentive, friendly, gave great recommendations, the food was lovely! Great atmosphere, we came as a family everyone thoroughly enjoyed there time here, and gave us board games to keep little man entertained. Plenty of halal food options and tasty vegan korean wings. My fav were the steamed ha gau. We would definitely come again thank you! :)

Vine a Hello Oriental por primera vez hoy. Nos atendió Jay absolutamente increíble servicio muy atento, amable, dio grandes recomendaciones, la comida era preciosa! Gran ambiente, vinimos como una familia todos disfrutamos mucho allí tiempo aquí, y nos dio juegos de mesa para mantener al hombrecito entretenido. Un montón de opciones de comida halal y sabrosas alas coreanas veganas. Mi favorito era el ha gau al vapor. Sin duda volveríamos de nuevo gracias! : )

I do love this place although on the pricier side for food I enjoy the desserts mainly, I normally get Bingsu from here and have tried each flavour however today and on another occasion I got served basically liquid and so did my other 2 friends , I’m sure it was a accident however it was very disappointing as uasually I get a lovely bowl of shaved ice

Food was fantastic, and arrived extremely quickly, only issue we had is we'd actually finished our meals before our drinks arrived, the bar service is very, very slow.

I absolutely loved the food at hello oriental when it first opened, it was my go-to spot. Recently, however, it seems like they have become less focused on serving quality food. This isn't just a one-time issue, as it has happened the last four times I've visited. Sadly, it wouldn't even make my top 10 list of oriental food spots in Manchester anymore.

The food here is amazing. You have to try the crispy chilli beef, the beef ho fun noodles (thick flat noodles) and the sichaun chips. These are a few of the dishes ive tried. Ive heard the sushi is good too. Cant wait to try other dishes. Amazing service all the time.

Food is awesome from this place, a huge variety to pick from. The Nasi Goreng is really good. You order from an app when you get to a table, which is pretty cool. The service is also good and pretty quick. All in all, a really good place, well worth visiting
