J Dynasty Restaurant in Manchester

I went in thinking it was the Milverton Hotel in the same building, but it turned out to be a restaurant, not a hotel. I was embarrassed and asked where the Milverton Hotel reception was, but the staff said they didn't know. At the entrance of the building, Milverton Hotel is written proudly and there is a restaurant sign below it, so there is no way the staff working at the restaurant does not know about Milverton Hotel, but I asked them several times and they said they did not know. When I came out and turned to the side, I saw the hotel entrance. It's so ridiculous, absurd, and unkind.

first time vidit on 4:10pm sunday. plenty tables were available.ordered Dim sum and three dishes, they wete tasty. the restsurant charged 10% service charge and £1 per head for chinese tea. dim sum was £4.80.

Nice place to have family or friends gathering! However, car parking is quite difficult with the small and sloping ground

Popped in for some dim sum when my car broke down. I don't live nearby but I'll be coming back for the hot and sour soup! 😍 delicious 😋

The best Chinese food we have had for a long time. The owner is so passionate with her creative menu and provides such a welcoming service. We will definitely go back every time we visit Manchester.

I found this place on Google because it’s nearer to my house, rang the number up and the lady at the other end was very polite and helpful. I wanted bulk foods for my daughter’s baby shower, the lady asked questions to understand what I wanted and gave me advices. I later went to the place to complete my orders, she was very nice and guaranteed she’ll do her best to satisfy me. The collection was for 5pm , I got there by 4.58pm, they’re wrapping the last tray of the food, very helpful team. Everyone enjoyed the foods and we are thinking of ordering for Xmas .

We visited this place for dimsum occasionally and I was gobsmacked when paying the bill - not until then I realize how much more expensive they are now from before. The restaurant isnt crowded so plenty of spaces. Quite an ideal place for afternoon catch-up with family and friends. Their lava custard bun is always delicious and this time we ordered deep-fried noodle (肉絲炒麵) and it came at high quality! Nevertheless the seafood fried rice was tasteless; siulongbao (小籠包) was also disappointing as the four pieces were all clustered together and were immediately torn apart as being picked up. All in all - still a place worth visiting if you prefer a quiet fuss-free space. Price is on the uppper side and food is on average

Authentic Chinese cuisine with a lot to choose from in the menu. Fantastic evening with enjoyable service from the owner.

It turns out that you can’t use apps to book a table~ 😅😅 I called to make a reservation before, but then I saw that there was an app that allowed me to reserve a table and save points, so I called to cancel the reservation. Did you know that the female receptionist repeated the order to us several times, please go and cancel the app reservation. We told the truth that we wanted to use apps. But the other party canceled all of them after saying what they liked or disliked😤😤 ok, there are many restaurants in Manchester City that don’t want to do our business, there really is no problem, their attitude is so bad, I don’t want to be offended 😆😆 This is the first time I encountered a store with such a bad attitude🫡🫡

It was my baby girl’s birthday dinner. She was very satisfied with the food and service. She instructed me to give this restaurant a perfect 💯 rating.

The environment of the restaurant is quite comfortable and spacious. We ordered scallops, ginger and spring onion cooked with oysters in a pot and satay veggie with beef. We surprised that the restaurant provided us a free-soup. Scallops and beef dishes are yummy while the oysters are so-so. Good service from the male waiter. *when we went there again, the taste of the food is just so-so, not too bad and not too good.

Jiangnan is drunk. . . . On the whole, it is more like a private kitchen, and cannot be positioned as a restaurant. I can see that there is a lot of care in the food, and it lacks the general feeling of a licensed restaurant. Fine meal. I accidentally saw the ornaments in the courtyard that hinted at the "Five Elements", and wondered whether the combination of ingredients would also be pursued in this way? !

Fried crispy noodles with shredded pork. Pickled fish. The boss takes good care of the restaurant👍 and the environment is elegant. The food is delicious.

Food quality was not particularly impressive, the fried rice we ordered was even a bit burnt. There were not many patrons but the staff seemed to be in a rush and I felt pressured to order.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in Manchester City :) Most of the dishes on the menu are delicious and the portions are reasonable Recommended dishes: Saliva Chicken, Satay Beef Vermicelli Stew, Mala Zhan Tong Cai The decoration of the restaurant is average and it was very toasty when I visited in summer.

Discrete location with car parking. The service is very good and fast, and the food taste is variable. The limited Dim Sum selections are tasty and are good portion size, however the dry fried beef ‘ho fun’ noodles were bland. Prices are on the higher side though it does give a ‘fine dine’ feel to the dining experience and presents itself well.

Very lovely establishment with great food and even greater people. I was first attracted to the milk tea/cold drinks range, but fell for the dishes almost immediately. The cream cheese seafood fried rice is a must try, and the Nasi Lemak is 100% authentic. Good variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes offered. If I lived in this neighbourhood longer I would keep coming back to it. The operator and staff are always friendly and engaging. I am hooked!

The price is nice with okay food, not particularly impress taste. the place is clean and nice, spacious, but no air con and fan, with all the glass surround it is so hot feels like in Thailand! Even the staff was sweating! Maybe better to visit and night or winter! Still a good place to visit though, but not at summer time

Only found out about this place as we parked in the car park round the back and we’re hungry otherwise we’d never have known. Brilliant service, great food which was very tasty and healthy and a wide range of Chinese tea which has many health benefits. The one we had was very nice (jasmine) Food not greasy at all. A great find and would definately go back!

Came here based on recommendation. We made reservations and were sat down quickly. After ordering we were told it would be a little wait for our food. To me that means 1 hour which we thought was ok. Place wasn’t full. At least 4 empty tables that I counted. After 2 hours the kids were getting very hungry and tired and we asked how much longer. At this point we were told we were next. Then we were offered a dish that we hadn’t ordered but either the chef had made by mistake or someone had returned. We were offered a small discount on the price but we turned it down. Finally food started arriving slowly one by one after 2 hours and 15 mins. The first dish arrived and everyone wolfed it down we were so hungry that no one could remember what it tasted like. The other dishes came slowly one by one. At this point the waitress arrived and apologised ( first apology 2 hours after ordering) saying they were short staffed today so food was delayed. It would have been nice to have been told this when we sat down instead of waiting 2 hours 15. We have children and we would have left if we were told. Finally the manageress arrived and apologised when we had nearly finished all the food. There was a table who arrived after 9pm and even they got their food before us. ( we arrived at 7pm) Food was excellent. No faults there at all but service recovery was appalling. In fact none I would say. Was offered a loyalty scheme whereby after you spend £500 on food you can get 10% off the next meal. I turned it down. It was really late at this point and well past the kids’ bedtime. Food is great but don’t think I’ll come back again. It just felt like the lure of us spending money in their establishment was greater than customer satisfaction. Too hungry to take any photos

good quality food, especially lamb-chop pot

The deep fried oyster is the best among all Chinese restaurants so far I had. It is crispy and the oyster is big. The fired was not too bad but it can be better if the rice can be drier. It was super strange to serve deep fried prawn with bamboo pot since it is not cooked by steam, unless it is not freshly made. I would rather have dishes rather then dim sum if I visit it next time. The service was great, they are friendly and helpful.

The quality of Siu long bao is below average. The kimchi cake is weird with the cross over of waffles, it smelted like egg waffles dessert but it wasn’t ,and it didn’t even taste kimchi inside at all. Free car park in front of the restaurant which is good and convenient.

This is not a typical Chinese restaurant. The restaurant inside a western style building offers traditional foods with creative style. One of my favourite was chicken claws fried with pepper salt. The staff were responsive and considerate. The interior area was wide and cosy for gathering and chatting.

Just ate here. Had the following: - Chicken satay skewers - these were dry and had clearly been cooked and reheated - Chicken sweetcorn soup - this was fine - Prawn crackers - tasted of cardboard, disgusting - quarter crispy duck - average, spring onions and cucumbers dried out - ko pung duck - dreadful poor quality chicken used, chilli peppers all a bit suspect Came to around £50 for two of us. The meal overall was very poor like it had just been bought a Chinese supermarket and reheated. Service was good but couldn't make up for poor food. Won't be back, not recommended sadly 😔

The taste is generally on the expensive side. I ordered the Zuotai winter solstice rice a week in advance and pre-ordered the dishes. Even if there is a conversation record, I can get the wrong order. Going to Zhongtai is better than Zuozhangtai, and I have to wait 30 minutes longer to get in first. There are better options in Manchester

Imperial Chicken-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Probably the best chicken concubine in Manchester City right now! Use old chicken, the chicken is rich and delicious Salad Pork Chop 1❤️❤️❤️❤️ The pork chop is fragrant and tender, the salad sauce is appetizing, and it’s a first-class meal! Mala Chicken Rice-❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The special fried chicken with homemade sambal, peanuts and fried fish, 🥰 is worth mentioning the pandan coconut rice. When it is served, you can already smell the aroma of coconut! Malazhan stir-fried vegetables-❤️❤️❤️❤️ Full of heat and a lot of portion This is one of the best Cantonese restaurant that I’ve tried in Manchester! Dishes are authentic and remind me of HOME! Super tasty and lovely staff. As a vegetarian , it was great to have dishes that were well thought through with proper alternatives (sweet and sour veggie chicken, salt and pepper tofu, and Chinese broccoli with vegetarian oyster sauce). All were brill. Will definitely revisit. Thank you !

I saw this new restaurant on Deliveroo and ordered takeout twice. Both were delicious. I came to dine in today and was amazed by the environment. It is beautiful and clean and the food is delicious.

Very welcoming and attentive service. Beef brisket is must a try. Really flavourful and tender and generous portions too.

We went yesterday as a group of 5 people. Great service and great food. Beef brisket noodle was excellent. Beef was very tender and they very generous with the noodle. Will go again.

Unfortunately massively disappointing. The food came on time, but was not at all tasty. Has lots of potential but had very little flavour and some of the dishes were just plain bad. We didn't even finish our food. I hope it improves.
