Really great service and friendly staff members. Food was unreal, we only ordered sushi but would love to explore the rest of the menu. Great atmosphere, and nice vibe.

A completely fantastic meal made with care and attention by the sushi chef Hamza (I think, I am sorry if that’s wrong). I can’t remember the last time someone put such effort into making and presenting a meal it was a real honour to receive such food. I can’t tell you how good it was, how amazing the service was . Delicious food and great prices

The restaurant is situatated on burton road in surrounded by bars and shops. It is an Asian infused food and the owners are brilliant. The decoration inside is second to none and very relaxing. I took my daughter for her 15th birthday and she has special needs and loved every minute of her time in this establishment. The food ranges from sushi to ramen and katsu curry. They also cater to dietary requirements. Please go and visit for yourself the food is at a reasonable rate as the dishes are huge you can also take it home with you too. Amazing place a little hidden gem 💎

Very nice food, big portions! I thought the price was a bit mad at first but the portion sizes live up to it! Highly recommend this place, really nice food in a chilled atmosphere.

Nos han dicho que no es aplicable para un reembolso de Uber incluso después de la evidencia fotográfica. Todo llegó frío, que es más por parte de Ubers. Sólo una pérdida de dinero.

Normally love ordering food from here - have done a few times via deliveroo. Tonight we ordered 2 ramens and when we received the order the broth (which is separate from the noodles/meat/veg) was not labeled. The broth got mixed in the wrong ramen and unfortunately we did not eat at the same time and I ended up with a spicy broth and was unable to eat it. Had the broth been labeled (as we had zero clue what broth was we ordered should have looked like) this mistake would have been avoided. We contacted deliveroo who were useless with helping us. As a result we wasted £13 on a ramen that was totally inedible as I don’t tolerate spice. I really don’t understand how these were not labeled for the customer.

The full breakfast plate included crispy toast, perfectly poached eggs, hearty beans, hash browns, sausage, bacon, and a juicy slice of grilled tomato. Everything was cooked to perfection. And don’t even get me started on the latte—smooth and creamy with stunning latte art that made the morning extra special. The cozy atmosphere and warm sunlight made it the perfect spot to start the day. Highly recommend Wanago if you’re looking for a satisfying and relaxing breakfast experience!

We ordered a few weeks ago from home and enjoyed our meal so much we had to come in the shop to try it and it did not disappoint! We had the chicken katsu curry, special steak ramen and some sides. The star of the show was the sushi, it was so fresh and flavored, the chef also treated us to his salmon special it was amazing and hope to see it on the menu soon! We can not wait to return thank you for your service we had a great night ☺️

I visited this restaurant on October 6th, 2024, for lunch and had a fantastic experience! We ordered the Wanago Special Ramen, Devil's Ramen, and chicken satays, and I must say, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant and satisfying.The service was impressively quick, ensuring we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The restaurant wall with the red dragon mural was so standout and eye-catching! 🐉. I would definitely come back again to try sushi and chicken wings next time.

Don't be fooled by what it looks like from the outside, the food is amazing. When I arrived there wasn't many people eating in so the atmosphere was a bit flat. The polite waiters ensured the service was good and all of our requests were met with a "no problem" and a smile. I will visit here again the next time I'm in town.

Lovely Sunday evening meal at Wanago with the family. Cracking food with the most amazing tuna and salmon sushi platter prepared by Henzala - some unusual but excellent elements to the platter which really surprised us.Also loved the devil’s ramen - just the right side of spicy. We will be back!

How this place isn’t constantly booked is beyond me! My third time here and they blow it out the park time and time again. Phenomenal food with the best personal and friendly service from RJ and the team. Super affordable prices and on drinks, you won’t find a cheaper spirit and mixer in Didsbury! Had lunch here on a Saturday. The devils ramen was delicious, fantastically presented with a real kick to it. Pork was so succulent. A lovely pint of Asahi also, can’t wait to come back to this place

Seen reviews on this place and really not sure why there are low reviews. We had a lovely experience at Wanago, the waiters were attentive and professional. The sashimi, ramen and cocktails were gold tier, and we are very excited to come back with my Japanese sister in law. If you are after authentic tasting Japanese food in Didsbury, this is the place. Edit: We have been here many times since for takeaway, but recently came again to see the sushi king, very talented, very tasty.

Generally good but all ramen broths were EXTREMELY salty. Chicken coating in bao buns and ramen tasted and felt old.

I got deliveries weekly from here but on a fateful Monday night, I got food poisoning from this place. I have been violenting throwing up and have a fever after consuming the Thai chicken curry.

The katsu seemed to have changed when I got it the other day? Usually, it’s more lighter in colour (and taste) due to the coconut milk(I assume you add), it was my favourite place to get a Katsu. But the other day it tasted like all the other basic standard katsu curries you can get from anywhere…nice but the way you guys did it before was sensational. The Thai curries are lovely, fresh and vibrant too. I just wish you guys added more sauce for deliveries.

A must recommended place for those looking for an asian restaurant. One thing that was lacking is the dessert menu. But in the end, the main dish and the sushi were enough to make us full. Definitely will come back given the opportunity.
