Hello Hotel Manchester in Salford

A budget hotel on the outskirts of Manchester. I have used this hotel many times because of its reasonable pricing and a location that suits my needs. In the recent past the price was increased beyond what was reasonable for this quality of accommodation. When I investigated for this trip I was pleased to see the price was back down to a fair level. The breakfast is served in a bag. It may sound off putting, but the bacon and sausage bap is actually very good. If the price is right, highly recommended.

We stayed here the staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Grab and go breakfast was ideal for us. Free on site parking was really helpful. Would stay again!

Comfortable beds, very courteous staff who were eager to help, hotel is attached on to the restaurant next door through an adjoining door in the reception. The grab a bag breakfast was a brilliant thing for a quick move off and check-out in the morning. Only qualm was being able to hear every footstep in the room above.

We had a little issue, we mixed up the date (wrong year 🙈), but staff were super lovely and accommodating, room is super clean, smells amazing, hairdryer, fridge, plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, shower is warm and pressure is 10/10! Super pleased and have been treated with such amazing respect- thank you 🌟

Reception very good and helpful. I could not find my car keys and the gentleman on reception could not have been more helpful. We had to leave early and breakfast was offered which was appreciated. Beds comfy and room ok. The main issue the carpets were in need of a good professional clean

Great if you want to spend the night after dinner in a large and nice restaurant

First stay at this hotel, lovely clean rooms, complimentary bottled water, and the usual tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits. Friendly 24hr manned reception, with a free wifi, tea & coffee hub area. Breakfast is a free grab and go or a £5 voucher off per person off a cooked breakfast next door in Albert's restaurant & bar (wouldn't recommend)

Love this place. This is our 4th visit. Warm room, hot shower, comfortable bed, helpful staff. We got in late so they helped us order in. Reasonable breakfast provided but give you a discount if you want full English in adjoining restaurant. No worries eith parking as they have a car park then you can catch the V1 or V2 bus into town as bus stop is just across the road. Great place to stay. Will be back.

It's less than a 15 minute walk from the APLS centre, but it's close to the road, and I found there was a lot of car noise all night. The roomni was in was clean and spacious.

I've given this place five stars not because it's the highest quality place I've been in but because it's a great level of quality for the price they charge. The service is great as well. They keep the rooms clean, replenish the teas, coffee and water in the rooms and have a grab and go breakfast ready every morning on time. It will be a bit far out of the city for some people but it was a perfect location for what I needed which was business use.

A spacious room with a good shower and facilities. Basic breakfast was adequate, but if you choose to have a more substantial start to your day the Albert next door is excellent, and the discount from the hotel is good value for money. The only issue we had wad with our TV that was sorted promptly.

Fabulous hotel, great price, tidy and clean rooms, breakfast is tasty and the receptionist was excellent. She had no problem when I called to say I left my hair straighteners turned on. Would stay again and would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat

Easy location, really friendly staff. Cheap and basic, exactly what I expected. Room was only needed 10pm - 3am before our flight and it served it's purpose. Staff were the highlight.

The rooms are spacious, the beds even more so. The grab and go breakfast is really good. All of the staff are really helpful and friendly, willing to help when asked. Not had a stay like this for a while anywhere.

The rooms are not soundproof andn everything can be heard, especially if on the ground floor from above. The guests are usually coming back drunk from the bar next door and let in to disturb other people sleeping, breakfast is awful and served in a bag..

Travelled with my partner and our 13-month-old daughter. The hotel was alright, but considering the cost and location, I expected a bit more. It was reasonably clean, giving me enough confidence to let my daughter crawl around without too much worry. However, the worn-out furniture and walls gave a dirty feeling but after wiping the surfaces and little to no dirt showing, I was a little more confident. Breakfast was a bit of a let down. My bad for assuming it would be a full English or something similar, like in other chain hotels. It wasn't the worst breakfast, but the "breakfast included" tag raised expectations. There was no clarification during booking, so I've shared a pic of the menu for anyone interested. The restaurant in the images isn't the hotel's; it's next door, and though the hotel offers a discount, it's not included. We had options 1 and 4, and our little one settled for buttered toast. Surprisingly, the sausages and bacon were good, and my partner thought they might be Richmond vegetarian sausages in hers. Don't expect much regarding breakfast when booking here. The wall-mounted hairdryer was barely hanging on, falling off with a simple touch, which happened multiple times during the night. I could also hear every footstep from the person upstairs, luckily not bothering my daughter's sleep but annoying for my partner and I. On a positive note, the free travel cot provided was clean and sturdy and the customer service was splendid. Considering the price and distance from the centre of Manchester, the hotel could offer better facilities. A strong suggestion though is to remove the restaurant images (as it's not technically part of the hotel) or clarify that breakfast is more of a "grab and go" (on the Expedia site that is, I've seen that their official website states it is a grab and go breakfast) than a restaurant-style experience. All food situations for that matter, much more detail and clarification could be provided on Expedia, which is where I booked.
