Hei Hing Cafe & Noodle Bar in Hounslow

It has become our trusted restaurant, everything is delicious, the service is great! I always want to take photos of the food before I eat, but it looks so good and smells so good that I haven't been able to. The vegetarian dishes are delicious, nothing to envy the meat ones. Recommended 100%. I advise making a reservation, the place is not very big. But it is cozy. By the way, many thanks to the waitress who ran to give me the backpack that I left on the floor when I was leaving. I will not forget! Thank you 💕

The restaurant is small and very noisy, the toilet door works funny The service is OK, however only in terms of being fast. A dirty plate was brought and salt was absent (( The food was good, but nothing special for this price. I ordered the rice with prawns and chicken, but got only 2 prawns in a bowl. Can't recommend it.

An amazing little place with great food, epic portions and fast and friendly service. Good for a casual dine in experience and for takeaway as well. We have tried many different items on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet!

Stunningly good food. Piping hot and fresh, a wide variety on the menu including some dishes we hadn’t seen in previous Chinese restaurants. We had the fish balls and some string rolls to start, followed by a wheat noodles bbq chicken dish and a Chinese BBQ pork with rice. Both were delicious. Lovely warm service. Would definitely recommend!

It's been about 4 years since I last visited Hei Hing. I came with my daughter to reminisce the good food, friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Being over 6 foot 4 I did find the space a little tight, but good experience all-round.

The previous reviews didn’t lie. The food here and the customer service were absolutely amazing. I meant to take some photos, but completely forgot after my first Korean chicken bite and it was just subsequent face stuffing action after that aha. I highly recommend visiting if you love East Asian cuisine as much as I do! Major flavour in the Korean chicken bites, fresh prawn toast, HK roast pork and Yaki Udon

Great food, feels like back to Asia! Highly recommend Beef Ho Fan (干炒牛河), Taiwanese beef noodle (台灣牛肉麵) and 炒貴刁 as they taste the same as in Asia. Staff very friendly & patient - they explained the bubble tea menu to my young children. Keep up your good work x

Very friendly staff & good service. The food was delicious - everything tasted very fresh and the portion size was really good. The only improvement is that I could have had my noodles more spicy as they were listed as 'hot' on the menu, but I couldn't detect any spice. An interesting menu with things that are sometimes a bit more tricky to find in an Asian restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

This is a lovely, local chinese restaurant which serves various dishes. For starters, we got the har gau which stuck to the paper which was sad, I urge the restaurant to use different paper in the basket but it was still nice. We got sesame prawn toast which was fantastic, as was the calamari and vegetable spring rolls. The fried vegetable tempura is also good. For the main we got the beef chow kway teow which was fantastic, so flavourful. We also got the prawn Malaysian curry which was my personally favourite. Service was amazing and so was the ambience. Our bill totalled roughly £60 and I would definitely recommend visiting.

I’ll try to give as much unbiased review as possible here, exclusively based on the menu items we ordered. I’ll rate these on the standard scale of 1-5. Hong Kong Roast Duck with Rice - 5/5 Great portion and flavour. Chicken Katsu Curry with Fried Noodles - 5/5 Excellent taste and great portion. Crispy Aromatic Duck with pancakes - 3/5 The duck was not shredded. I never had this item from any takeaway place, where there expect the customer to shred the duck! Ah well. However the duck meat quality was not the best either. Too dry and chewy. BBQ ribs - 1/5 Only bones and no meat whatsoever in most of the pieces. The pieces which did have some meat were super chewy and tasted stale. Being an avid foodie I could make out immediately that we were served very old meat. Overall - 3/5, based on the above items. The meat quality overall was certainly not great. To me it was nothing special - just your standard Chinese Takeaway.

Hei Hing's was recommended to us and we've intended trying it out for some time. Finally got round to getting a takeaway for a birthday meal. Very impressed! Easy to order and collect, friendly staff, and very good food at a reasonable price. We recommend, and will definitely order from Hei Hing's.

This place never disappoints! The owner is so lovely and friendly! The two waitresses also had perfect customer service which felt very genuine and friendly! Then as always the food is perfect - very affordable and huge portion sizes! Altogether the best restaurant in the area!

An Isleworth classic at this point.. You can always rely on Hei Hing for good value quality food with a welcoming service. It's really a hub of the area and feels part of the community as well as just a restaurant. Welcoming to all. Would recommend.

Beautiful food. Really helpful and friendly staff. Visited Friday 18th November and we have already booked in for our next visit 26th. Staff seemed so happy and like they loved being there. Highly highly recommend the Korean chicken bites and the Beef Hor Fun.

The food is amazing, always very tasty and lunchtime menu changes throughout the week to give lots of variety. Great service and friendly staff that take the time to get to know your name once you’re a “regular”…after one visit you will be coming back time and time again! Portion sizes are very good too, and reasonable priced.

Hei Hing is absolutely fantastic. This is a family run business which provides outstanding service and delicious food in Isleworth. My friend (who has been here many times and "loves it) and I really enjoyed the entire dining experience. I noticed other customers were very friendly with the owners and the staff  - and it felt like a true neighbourhood restaurant where people enjoy themselves. As an expat living in the UK, I think the food is better here [at Hei Hing] than any I had in either New York City or Washington DC's Chinatown. Highly recommend this quaint good vibe eatery.

The food itself is fine but the place is very rarely open. They always seem to be on holiday. This is the problem with these small, independent businesses. We're encouraged to support them, yet they are very unreliable as a whole. I'd much rather see large chains move in instead. At least they are open when you need them. The Co-Op on South Street being a prime example.

A small (25 covers I counted) family run eating place with a fine range of noodle, rice and other dishes. The portion size appeared slightly smaller than pre pandemic but the quality was good. Service was swift and attentive. They were doing a brisk business in takeaways when I was there and being a small place it is noticeable with people frequently in and out.

Went for our anniversary, more for the food than the fancy atmosphere. The decision was right. The food was fantastic, the portions generous and the service - very prompt. This is a small family run neighbourhood eatery and it is a hidden gem . Ordered the starter platter and then the mains - the Laksa, a Katsu Curry and a Pad Thai. Each was cooked fresh and to perfection..

You will never have chinese food this good anywhere else. The menu is small and perfectly formed. I cann express how good it is. Family run this is not a cheep take away but real home cooking.

Wow! You just have to try it as the ingredients are fresh and you get nice pieces of meat in the noodle dishes that you can see are good quality and cut a bit thicker! No flavour enhancers or MSG in site! Eating in is great too and it’s a lovely cozy family restaurant where the kitchen is open so you can see what is going on! They never compromise on ingredients and quality in the few years since they have opened and we have been using them since the start! Congrats and keep up the authentic good work! X

This is one of our favourite restaurants in the whole of London, family run and the food is make with love. We can highly recommend Hie Hing.. cannot wait for Covid-19 to be over and you can re-open.

We ordered a takeaway yesterday and even though the restaurant was empty due to the lock down, their phone was ringing non stop. There were clearly regular locals who were waiting for orders a the wait was worth it. We ordered staples like nasi goreng and Singapore fried noodles which were both outstanding. The portions are generous too. We haven’t had access to Singaporean / Malaysian / Indonesian (plenty of Thai) so we are absolutely delighted with this gem of a find and can’t wait to patronise them when they are fully open for business again - will be regular take away customers until then

Been here twice in the last two weeks, both times the food and the service was excellent. Plenty of vegetarian options and would recommend the Vietnamese drip coffee at the end of meal. Can’t wait to come back again in the future.

Fabulous meal last night as always. We were served by a charming young waitress who found the time to chat and smile despite being rushed off her feet. She was fairly new to the job but we wanted to mention her as the service was outstanding. We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Called and asked for gluten free options and were told they had many to choose from. When we dined the order was entirely gluten free. Afterwards, got very sick resulting in chronic celiac symptoms from eating non-gluten free food. Do not go there if you are a celiac!

Amazing food. Fantastic staff. We’ve actually moved to another area and we still drive 40 minutes to get a takeaway / eat in. Pork and brocolli is an amazing dish. You need to try it to believe how good it is.

We went there unplanned and were lucky enough to get table. Very friendly staff. My kimchi fried rice with tofu was delicious and so was my other half’s Katsu.

Fresh and tasty! Really great little Chinese with friendly service and cosy atmosphere. We were in a rush and we’re in and out in an hour. Classic fishes as well as some unfamiliar more adventurous ones. Definitely recommended to Asian food enthusiasts!

Moni and Louis are the most lovely owners who great one with real pleasure. We go when we’re exhausted, need a good meal and a relaxed atmosphere. Moni and Louis always have time for a chat and hug after we’ve eaten a delicious meal. Good choice for vegetarians too. Good lunchtime menus too and takeaway. Love it!

Went back for the first time in a long while. Had an excellent meal. Table layout changed so more comfortable. The food was absolutely first class, huge portions, great value and friendly service. Now back on my regular visit routine.

Have visited this place on so many occasions now and have always had an excellent meal. On this occasion we had ribs, calamari and dumplings to start which were all delicious. The calamari is very good value. Mains were crispy duck, Singapore noodles and a curry all were lovely. The staff here are very friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. Its advisable to book especially on fri/sat as it's always busy.

Feels like family, very friendly. Food all cooked fresh to order and all very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Will come again if in the area.

We went for lunch today during our stay in London. We knew that the lunch menu was different from the dinner menu after perusing the website, but we figured it would be most of the same items but in smaller portions. As it turned out, the lunch menu consists of only three meal options, without any side soups or appetizers. We stayed anyway, and the food and service were great—very friendly staff. However we also discovered that despite the Trip Advisor listing stating gluten free options available, the staff were pretty unsure about what gluten was.

Great family run noodle bar. Food delicious and good vale for money. You need to book a table in advance on a Friday or Saturday night as they get busy. Service levels are brilliant and you never wait long for your food even when they are fully booked.

They may be in a hurry but always find the time to talk to you. They also serve sandwiches, baguettes and pannis with lots of fillings to choose from. With a large choice of Teas and Coffees.

We called in for early dinner, friendly staff fast service, squeaky clean, super fresh food cooked to order and on top of that it’s not expensive. What more could you ask for excellent .

I cannot fault this restaurant, myself and my boyfriend eat here on a weekly basis, we either book a table(make sure you book in advance, Hei Hing is super popular, for good reason, so you won’t find a seat if you don’t) or we order take away and go and pick it up. I also take all my friends there when they come to visit! There crispy duck is to die for, I always have the Malaysian curry and it is the best food I have ever eaten, my boyfriend orders something new every time and has never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and it feels just like your part of the family. The only criticism I have, and this is purely for my own laziness, it would be great if they did delivery as getting the bus there every time we order takeaway means I have to sit on the bus waiting to eat it for longer!

Thought we would give this a try. Just three options for the lunch time menu, a chicken, pork or vegetarian dish with a choice of rice or noodles. Beer and wine are also available. The food came really quickly and as my chicken was on the dry side I think it must have been precooked and didn't have the freshness I expected from Korean food.

The food is ok but tables are crammed in and the experience isn’t helped by it being very draughty- we put our coats back on.

We didn't know what to expect from a cafe & noodle bar, but it was better than many restaurants for the quality of the food. I'm happy to do without a table cloth for these prices!

We love this little restaurant. Just wish we had chance to visit more often when we come to London town. Food is fresh and so tasty and very reasonably priced. You really should give it a go but make sure to book as it's very small and always busy.

The food is cooked in a timely manner, very comparable with Wagamamas. Favourite dishes are the katsu and pork dumplings.

We have eaten in, and taken away from Hei Hing dozens of times. The team are lovely, the food always fresh, inventive and plentiful. The menu changes often enough and the lunch special is great value. Constantly recommended!

We rang at 6pm for a table for 12 at 6.30 and they were really accomodating. Celebrating my cousin's bday over from NYC. Staff were so friendly, really great with the 6 kids, took time whilst they were ordering and really helpful. We all enjoyed every mouthful. Will definitely be making this our regular eating out treat. Top quality, great value food and fantastic staff. Will be recommending to friends.

Been ordering from here for well over a year and it never disappoints. Often very busy, the quality of the food is excellent. I would highly recommend the Malaysian Curry and my wife the Nasi Goreng. Portion sizes are generous too.

We arrived, five of us without a booking and initially we were turned away. However the proprietor rearranged the tables to accommodate us.
