Really disappointed with waffle . Was very dry with hardly any sauce on it .

i recieved my order and was missing both drinks!! i then went to the driver and asked and he couldnt collect them, i rang the company and they said they had my drinks but cant give me them, now hoping i can actually get a refund.

Efficient service and helpful staff

Me and my wife dined in on 11th March 2025 at around 6.15pm to celebrate are wedding anniversary. The host and person serving are food Safiya was awfully off putting, when we stepped in was not welcomed just asked us are you picking up food, we said we want to dine in she just replies take a seat then, then just puts the menu on the table without saying anything. Looks like this place was under staffed as she was, making the food, taking orders over the phone and uber eats etc, when the food came out was cold and tiny portions. We have dined in the past and has been outstanding and dined in other Heavenly dessert branches which have been very good. Would not recommend better of going to leicester, The Little Dessert Shop, or Heavenly Dessert branch which is much better.

It was an extremely lovely experience, the royale was amazing and the customer service was 10/10.

driver was an hour late food was cold or melted and he just acted like nothing was wrong and offered no apology or explanation

Came in for brunch with my friends. The veggie breakfast and vegan cookies dough brownie was delicious, food came out quickly even though Leanne was working on her own. Leanne is a lovely lady and very professional. Will definitely be coming back again :)

Came in with my daughter's for brunch. Seated promptly and taken order within 5 minutes. Daughter's went for double chocolate cookie dough and strawberry and chocolate waffles. They both demolished them so it must have been good! Portions really good size too. I went for the bacon and harissa flatbread, again the portion was really good for the price and very flavoursome. Will definitely be returning.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at heavenly Desserts the food was out of this world especially the brunch that I started with. I had a breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the hash brown bites and I’m delighted with how it was presented. For dessert I had the Apple crumble tart and it was superb and I absolutely adored it. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was brilliant. I really like the aesthetic of the place and I was impressed with how quick food came out. Leanne was a fantastic host and very friendly and welcoming . I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending heavenly Desserts for other people to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Review of Heavenly Desserts Loughborough I recently visited Heavenly Desserts in Loughborough, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the online ordering system charged me three times (£90 in total) but failed to place my order. When I raised this issue with the manager, I was met with a dismissive and patronising attitude, as if I should automatically know that my money would be refunded. A more professional and empathetic response would have been appreciated. The customer service overall was poor. The staff taking my order were blunt and unwelcoming, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. As for the desserts, they were underwhelming. The waffle was dry and barely had any toppings, while the brownie not only lacked sauce or additional toppings but also had an unpleasant taste. On the positive side, the coffee was good, but that alone isn’t enough to justify the visit. Given the poor service, frustrating payment issue, and disappointing desserts, I would struggle to recommend this location. There are certainly better options for both quality desserts and customer experience in Loughborough.

I called ahead to change the sauce on my waffle, and they assured me it would be done. When my order arrived, the change hadn’t been made. I called again, and they told me the delivery driver had taken the wrong order, so they had to remake it. Even after remaking it, they still didn’t change the sauce. When I called back, they just said there was nothing they could do—no apology, no attempt to fix it, just terrible customer service. This isn’t the first time they’ve messed up. Previously, I found an eyelash in my dessert and left a review about it. The head of Heavenly Desserts asked me to email them privately, which I didn’t, but despite that, they never even bothered to follow up. Clearly, customer care and quality control aren’t priorities for them. I gave them multiple chances, but after repeated issues, I won’t be ordering again.......

It is my treat to myself to eat here. The food is always great. Coffee is a nice medium roast, i like it. The tea, it looks like a posh teabag, but i found a bit week. The staff are lovely. Plus, it is a really nice relaxing and clean establishment. Decor it nice. Toilets are a little walk from the front of the restaurant. If you have mobility issues, be aware of this. Disabled toilet is a good size. I deducted 1⭐️ as I do feel it is a bit over priced. On the whole, I would definitely recommend Heavanly Desserts 🧇🥞🥮☕️

Desserts taste like they are cheap, heated up in microwave and sold for a huge amount of money. Honestly had nicer desserts from Iceland. Ordered two desserts, and two coffees cost nearly 30 pounds, never will ever go there again. Feel ripped off, decided to not complain and instead will not be going there again. Can't believe people were ordering online from them. Staff were very nice. Have emailed them as requested last week so far been ignored.

I usually order the same cake (saffron milk cake) to takeaway, and it's been already the second time where the cream was actually rancid. I don't understand why it keeps happening since it's clear from the moment you smell it that there is something severely wrong with it.

Came in to celebrate my daughters 14th birthday. Food was delicious. Asked about allergies and staff were super helpful.

Food was as expected, but unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. When we were seated it seemed that only one employee was on shift, she was rushing around to get everything ready, we were the 2nd table in the store. When ordering, we asked for the milkshake deal which was clearly displayed outside, when spending £10 you can order a milkshake for free, we were told that it’s wasn’t on today (even though on the board it clearly states it’s on Sunday-Thursday), we saw the employee going outside to check this herself but even then, the bill wasn’t rectified to reflect the free milkshake. When paying at the till, I notice that 3 employees are actually in the store, casually chatting away in the store room, I ask about the benefits of the app as I have collected some points, I was then told I would need to order on the app to claim them, not sure if this is entirely true or if the lady serving was just reluctant to take the money off the total bill. The food was ok, but the service is a complete let down, the drinks were never brought out and the milkshake clearly advertised to be free by the door wasn’t honoured ( an issue for trading standards). This used to be our favourite desserts place in Loughborough but the standards have clearly slipped since opening!

it tasted good and luckily my friend likes white chocolate however we ordered two waffles one with white chocolate sauce and the other with milk chocolate, both had white chocolate sauce, it still tasted good and was enjoyed however it was not what we ordered.

Got in at 9.15pm, asked the waitress if we could have a booth where she rolled her eyeballs, when I caught her doing it she said she wasn’t well. I mentioned to her that we’ve been waiting 40 minutes to which she replied that we didn’t, basically insinuating that we were lying. Shocking service, waited 45 minutes in total for the desserts to come and when they did it was an absolute let down. Portions have gotten smaller for sure. Never again! Would never recommend this place and would advise people to go elsewhere.

The vanilla, pistachio and rose milk cake was truly heavenly topped with a saffron late. You can’t go wrong here, so many amazing and creative choices, lovely seating and atmosphere. A real treat that’s worth every penny.

I have been to quite a few Heavenly Dessert loactions around the UK. Menus are quite similar. The Loughborough branch, the menu seems to be more condensed compared to Coventry and Nottingham. Still, I would recommend 👌 a visit if you are passing by. There is free parking available. You just have to drive around to find the spots. Service orders are available at the table at a request. You just need to grab their attention and let them know, or you can order via the QR code or just go straight to the cashier/till. WC facilities are available onsite as well. The place is fairly clean 👌. I will be honest I am a lotus biscuit milk cake fan, which they do serve at this branch. So, the only reason I will be going back is because of the HOT 🔥 beauty with dyed blond hair with glasses. She was the highlight ✨️ of the day. The natural beauty type that doesn't need any make-up. She's the oriental type. I guess my next visit will be because of her. Cold and hot drinks are also served 👌 😋

Ordered Nutella & banana waffle. Got little to no sauce at all. Really dry & tasteless, so disappointed. Wanted the chance to resolve this but no one bothered to ask how our food was/came to follow up. Service extremely slow. Her manner was ridiculously casual and downright rude, more suited for banter with buddies than addressing paying customers. Although the desserts are mediocre at best and one waitress did make a valiant effort to be nice, the management ruins the experience. I won’t be back unless they overhaul their leadership.
