Heavenly Desserts in Cardiff

I traveled 100 miles because I was craving decent waffles and my quest brought me here. The menu looked like it would never end so prepare to be frustrated with too much choice. Having been duly overwhelmed, I ordered the simplest thing. The waffles were light & fluffy on the inside and golden & crispy on the outside. The chocolate sauce was actual melted chocolate which was lovely. However, the strawberries tasted a bit off, like they have fermented. The staff seemed competent but otherwise unenthusiastic. The toilet facilities were great though.

Heavenly desserts is certainly the right name! The plates are delicious and it's the only place i take my nephew when in town for dessert.

Cool spot for some unique deserts. Clean and classy interior paired with some tasty deserts.

I’m very disappointed, manger was very rude, i went with my daughters, they have us seated, served the desserts in card box and took away silvers and gave us wooden spoons, saying they can’t wash now, they don’t serve after 10pm. I said this is unfair, why would you let me seat en, at 10:10pm. I checked that they closed at 11pm. Milk cake was horrible, it was smelly and taste off, waffle fruits was soggy and rotten. They didn’t take any complaints. Just ruined my kids happy moments. Please be careful, and avoid having food poisoning. And disappointment. All this 5* reviews are from there own people, scam

Very smart place for a cheeky dessert if your restaurant dessert options not to your liking!

We went for a pistachio and white chocolate crêpe with strawberries & vanilla gelato and the rose & raspberry cheesecake with mango sorbet. We both really enjoyed our desserts and it definitely satisfied the sweet treat craving!! Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu!!

Had an amazing visit to Heavenly Deserts today with my daughter for the first time, and we loved it The ice cream was fantastic(Pistachio flavour was out of this world), but the customer service was even better. Vishnu and Shrivani were awesome—so professional, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. They were so approachable, with big, beaming smiles the entire time, and even made a big fuss of my daughter, which was such a nice touch. If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. Thanks to both of you, we will definitely be back.

Milk cakes are nice maybe best in Cardiff. Hot Drinks have been terrible couple times.

Upon our visit on Saturday the 26th evening, we had a very disappointing experience. Starting from being left at the door and ignored for quiet a while, until some nice customers offered us their table as they were leaving. At the exact moment the next customers were served immediately with a big welcoming smile! Dina who happens to be serving our table, gave us a very cold, unwelcoming attitude while taking our order, this continued till she started being rude and impatient. When I asked her to speak to her manager, she represented her colleague, as her manager. Which to my surprise he denied and said he's just a staff member and that the manager is not around at the moment! Although the food was really nice, but the poor service totally ruined our experience.

Quite a big menu with lots of interesting dessert choices. The cheesecake plant pot unfortunately looked better than it tasted; the cheesecake mix was too runny and the cookies too stale/crunchy. However, this tasted much better the next day after it sat in the fridge overnight, at which point the cookies had softened and the cheesecake had firmed up. The cheesecake lolly was delicious and the croffles are always a hit. The menu helpfully includes the calorie content of every item, so you can cry whilst you’re eating.

My favourite desert place in Cardiff! I visit regularly and the food and service is always excellent! Interesting selection of desserts and drinks - I highly recommend the waffles 🧇 They also have a nice selection of savoury snacks and light meals, such as shakshuka and flatbreads Very friendly, welcoming and polite staff each time I'm here. Highly recommend!

We've ordered pistachio &white chocolate crunch crepes,macchiato and pistachio iced spanish latte. Everything was PERFECT! Crepes are the best that I have ever tried. I absolutely recommend this place 100% ,you will be amazed.♥️

visited Heavenly Dessert around 11:30 PM to buy a waffle. According to Google Maps, the closing time was 12:30 AM, but the staff told me they were already closed. This was disappointing, as I had planned my visit based on the listed hours. On top of that, the staff spoke quite rudely, which made the experience even worse. Not a very good experience overall. Please update your closing hours accurately and work on better customer service.

The milk cakes are best. It's not too sweet.

The customer service was absolutely disgusting. I waited for 20 minutes, and not a single staff member came to collect my order. They were all too busy talking to each other and ignoring customers. I eventually had to leave without ordering anything. Completely unacceptable and a waste of my time. Will not be returning.

Rated low for atmosphere as it was empty. There is a book of a menu full of gorgeous desserts, really hard to choose. Friendly staff who are eager to help.

Came here Saturday with my cousin and sister the staff was very rude to us does not wear cloves and the hair is open very unhygienic and when eating the staff where just standing there like lemons staring do not recommend

I really like this place! After 39's closed down, I was worried I didn't have a new dessert place to go to. Especially since 39's closed late and was a nice place to study. While I can't seem to get the cookie do that I used to get, I am able to get my all-time favourite, the chocolate fudge cake with chocolate sauce instead of ice-cream. Staff are very nice (although can be a bit cheeky at times - after I told one I tend to get chocolate on my face a lot, he handed me a lage ammount of hankerchiefs to 'save me from doing it again'). Better still, the closing time is almost close to midnight so there's plenty of time to get something. I think the only downside for me is that they serve pepsi instead of coca-cola which isn't as nice in my opinion. All round great place!

Came for dessert with my family and saw on the menu that they also do breakfast and lunch, so returned a few days later for lunch. Food is outstanding, kind of menu that you want to work your way through of the course of a few visits. Excellent service and very nice set up made for an all together great experience.

Both my boyfriend and I absolutely loved the food. Our waitress Paige was so kind, her service was a 10/10. The man at the register was also very kind and he made us feel welcomed.I would definitely recommend and will definitely become regulars here.

The Guy who is working on till is Rude in his behaviour. Don’t know how to talk with customer. Poor management and poor sevice. The guy on till asked as well to get out from the shop and wanted us not to come at this place. Shameful act to be honest. Don’t know how to behave with customer. He should know how the hospitality industry works.

Didn’t enjoy 😔 French toast slathered in sauce, too overwhelming 😞, killed the taste of the toast.

I had pastrami bagel today. It was prepared very well, delicious tastes cheese pastrami put together with delicious bagel. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend these guys.

Bahaa is such an asset to the business! He was so helpful and knowledgeable with the food and helped us make sure we made the right choices. He was so friendly and made sure to check in with us and get our opinions and made us feel like he really valued what we thought! Went to try this place for the first time at 10pm and we were able to sit down and dine in. We had the pleasure of being served by Bahaa he was super knowledgeable about the menu and made loads of recommendations for me and my friend he was amazing and the service was impeccable, we ended up going for the tapas option as we wanted to try multiple things and they were beautiful, We will 100 percent be back, especially for Bahaa

Used to love this place. However recent visits have been a big let down they will try to force customers to sit down stairs and if theres no space then it's outside inthe cold.This has happened on a number of occasions the last time we refused to sit out side and ended up going to a new place near by.They used to seat people upstairs previously but looks like that's out of bounds. Staff usually on their phones, gutted as heavenly desserts used to be our go to place

Open late, great way to finish a day in Cardiff. Delicious. Reasonably priced. Nothing marked vegetarian but with an extensive vegan selection. Great service. Ample portion sizes. There should be more photos, but I forgot to take one of mine on the first visit because all other thoughts evaporated when it arrived. It looked great. Everything tasted wonderful. My partner loved her tiramisu milkshake. Edit: Went back again, still excellent. Another photo, vegan sundae (Mango, strawberry, passion fruit) tasted as fantastic as it looks.

A beautiful and quiet place. They have a saffron latte drink, one of the most beautiful drinks and a unique experience, and the saffron cake is also very beautiful.

Unfortunately staff don’t know the difference between vegan and gluten free, confusing the two dietary requirements. I am coeliacs and despite telling them I have an allergy to gluten I was glutened !! Would not recommend to gluten free customers.

Been before and really enjoyed it so thought I’d order for a celebration - however the order was marked as delivered but I hadn’t received anything! Celebration was ruined and £30 down the drain

Worst mojitos I’ve ever had. Either tasted like squash or sparkling water, did not taste like the flavours I asked for. Packaging was terrible and most of the drinks were delivered half full.

What a disgrace, sat on their terrace Saturday lunchtime ordered baklava mix , latte and cappuccino,. When it came the baklava was still frozen and uneatable. The coffee's came in paper cups, when I asked for real cups, I was told , only inside is real cups, outside they might break???!!! But yet the baklava came on real plates. So not only do I get fed frozen food, I also get told I can't hold a coffee cop properly. Strongly advice against going there.

I visited this location 2-3 weeks ago and I must say the service there was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The server named (apologies if I spell your name wrong) Yashi was so attentive to our table. The best part was she saw my 5 year old coughing and she instantly brought hot lemon and honey tea for him. It was such a warm gesture from her that it really made my day! The food was amazing as always! Would recommend to keep a bin in the downstairs toilet as I couldn’t throw diaper anywhere and had to keep it with me. Otherwise, keep it up!

Enjoyed a late night dessert at Heavenly Desserts. Really tasty and value for money. Staff very friendly. The restaurant was decorated very nice and luxurious. Will be visiting again next time we are in Cardiff.

Not much seating space because upstairs was closed. There were seats outside but lots of seagulls coming down to tables and strange unpleasant smell! Eventually got some seats downstairs, food was good and service friendly.

Amazing place. I'd just competed in a bodybuilding show and me and my partner were going out for a treat. I'm VERY fussy with deserts, it has to be worth the calories. This place was unreal! Before we got here we literally walked to 4 other desert places and decided they weren't quite right. The staff here were super friendly, very smart. The menus were great, really good quality and amazing photography. Such a nice change from the usual pink and neon, loud, over the top desert places. Or the more refined, but a bit boring gelato places. This place had a great atmosphere, felt modern and upmarket. As for the deserts, they were unreal. The cruffles were absurdly good. I loved every mouthful and found the whole experience great.

A chain with one of the busy outlets in Cardiff city centre. Service is good but not quick. Who’s in a hurry to eat desserts, if one must say. Some innovative pairing of classic desserts such as apple crumble with cream. They have big jar for water to drink in a corner, a welcome gesture. Gets busy and hard to find a spot.

Really good experience dining here with my family. It has a lovely view of the city centre, and their service was excellent. Fady made sure we were well seated and kindly provided a cup of ice water to cool my baby’s milk. Great experience and we’ll be returning customers.

Usually ok but they haven't had ruby chocolate in a while, they said I could have the Ruby and white chocolate croffle but change the sauce so I asked for pistachio sauce replacement, instead they gave a pistachio croffle with pistachio nuts and no raspberries as it was take away and didn't check I was so fed up and disappointed, this is not first time always getting orders wrong

I don't recommend anyone to order desserts from here, you can see that they deceive people in the counters and get money only for themselves, it's very sad, my children were looking forward, but what they saw made them cry, for me, for their father, it was a big blow, it didn't happen to my first time, people, be careful, don't order personal collection only, don't be fooled by fraudsters

It was not heavenly. Dessert was OK.

Brought my two sisters here as treat and we had a really bad time. We did not receive our food for over 2 hours. I informed them of my peanut allergy as soon as I arrived and the lady stated she would be taking my order personally which she didnt. When my dessert finally arrived there was sprinkled nuts on it.. this was not listed on the dessert on the menu that there would be sprinkled nuts. They did resolve this by making me a new dessert right away.. which was really nice it was a cookie dough. but this was after the two hours I already had to wait. The two waffles my sisters ordered were nice but really overcooked so too crispy. The atmosphere is nice and place is beautiful, but the service not good at all, stuff were very rude and would speak in their own language, service was very slow, no service with a smile at all and rolled there eyes a few times. Ended up speaking with the manager on the phone who said he would be investigating an issue there and would get back in contact with me and he never did, he was also slightly rude whilst I spoke with him on the phone, talking about overheads calling me ‘Presumptuous’ for ASKING for a Gesture of good will (I was not demanding so he was using the incorrect word).. after waiting for 2 hours and the staff messing up my order. So I have had to write a review instead as it clearly shows they do not care about customer service, and I had to get my refund back from Uber Eats! Will definetly not be returning, and will stick to the one in Birmingham where they dont seem to have any problems sticking to requests or there customer service. (Had to order off Ubereats for collection as we was in the store and there card machine was not working, but the worker advised we could make the order on uber eats for collection and she would plate it as normal and we could eat there, straight after ordering we went down to them to let them know which order was ours and they still had boxed it all up to takeaway), the long wait in the dessert shop was due to them not allowing us to cancel our order with a refund after they couldnt honour some simple requests.

Brought my two kids here today. Was super pleased with food quality and had lovely tables chairs etc. Croffles are super delicious although given they are a dipping food I think a dip should be included. Really good value for money overall and especially loved the tapas of desserts.

Don't waste your money, they use frozen dough-chi cookie dough & little moons mochi & they only give you 3. Their baklava platter is tiny, also given 3 and not that good either. Although their service is nice and the cardiff store is lovely we were expecting their products to be their own and that's not the case. Only good thing was we had a free tub of vanilla ice cream that was super thick and delicious but it didn't make up from the let down experience. When you can go to to a cute corner shop called Pallete's and buy a tub of Joe's ice cream for £3.

There was enough seats available inside and outside and when we walked service person told us to wait for 20 minutes for a table . There was no reservation tags on table and as I mentioned all tables was empty .Only thing need to be told is we have options but shops will not sustain without customers .adding pics from outside as inside pics was not taken as we didn’t spend much time inside

Unfortunately, Kashira is a girl of Indian origin. She treats customers very badly, and more than once refuses to go to the second floor without an excuse. They also refuse to give me a discount, and since their work is so bad, I would advise against going them

Great selection of quality desserts. Our waitress was very efficient and knowledgeable. Overall service is a little lacking. One waitress was running downstairs and the few tables upstairs. Also, we were a table of 5 squashed into a booth which had no leg room and was the most comfortable. Overall though would return, and request a table not booth, oh and not order so much! Eyes were bigger than belly!

Gorgeous Biscoffi waffle, but it was supposed to come with vanilla vegan ice cream, yet I got chocolate? I don't even like choc ice cream, and when you pay this kind of money for a special treat and they mess up part of it, it's reallynot acceptable at all. Completely spoiled the treat.I see others have had similar issues. Sort it out!

the gluten free waffles were really good but the staff were terrible, they laughed at me and my company and when I asked for vegan because I’m gluten and lactose intolerant I don't think they gave me vegan just out of spite. attention to the staff who make fun of intolerances as if they were a fashion.

Fancied some dessert and a sit down, discovered heavenly desserts after a google search. Was not disappointed! The menu had such a variety of things I had never had before. Super friendly staff and amazing desserts. Even loved their earl gray tea so much I bought some for myself.

For start I even haven't had a chance to try anything from the menu. After been sat at the table by very nice waitress and given the menu I waited to order. And waited. And waited. 2 of the male staff went outside for a cigarette. And I waited. And I've left.
