Heaton Park Golf Centre Cafe in Manchester

The prices are an absolute disgrace!!!! How are they getting away with this? however from the few people that were there it seems that it is not getting away with it, i can see this place going under and its through bad management and greed!!! The food is nothing special at all but they are fleecing the public. SHAME on you all! I won't be returning. A word of advice get someone else to run it!!!

terrible service staff were really happy taking money but when problems occurred they could not and would not rectify, would not go back in as they were very pushy and rushing us, still waiting a response from staff member who were happy to get back to me before hand knowing how much money we’re gonna be handed over !!

Was very nippy outside at 9am this morning so a hot drink to walk around the park with was in order. I know that prices have gone up across the UK but at £3.50 for a small chocolate you would expect it to at least be hot not slightly warm.

Visit today. Ordered cheese and onion toastie. It’s come all soggy. I asked if this had been cooked in microwave as it was cooked at all she said yes. I ask to put it under grill as I don’t like undercooked cheese especially if it’s melted in microwave. She took my food to put in air fryer brought it back. It was disgusting soggy they don’t have a grill. They should advertise if they can’t do it. As for customer service was shocking no apology or nothing not even a refund. Shocking I’m a carer and had a disabled lad with me. I feed him now I have to go pay again for my dinner somewhere else.

The cafe at the start of the course where you pay for golf is one of the friendliest places I have been - anywhere! Freshly prepared food, good quality and well priced. Plenty of seating outside as well as inside BUT for sheer value check this out: Hot drink e.g espresso comes with a free piece of cake £1.50 the lot BEST VALUE: buy a kid’s ticket for the putting course (£1] and it comes with fee sandwich, bag of Walkers, small chocolate bar and glass of squash. Really enjoyable day out. Only down side is the car park is always busy.

We visited heaton park fair today, after leaving the fair & Park we found this cafe on our way to the car park, food was fab, good prices, enjoyed by all 8 of us (inc 6children) staff very friendly.

Staff a bit unwellcoming and expensive. Cafe is tiny and dont bother bringing your dog as you will be REFUSED water on a hot sunny day although dogs on a lead are allowed. Disgusting attitute.

Terrible experience. Had an hours wait for a tray of chips but was told nothing about the wait Was not offered any napkins Considering the park is so big and the cafe is so tiny is ridiculous. The place is under staffed and prices are not very reasonable. As a vegan I am becoming sick of forking out on the vegan options. They are always priced up compared to the meat alternative.

This review has nothing to do with the golf course etc but the golf centre cafe. The food itself was actually nice, quite expensive for what it was but adequate. The other plus side is you are allowed to take your dog in & they are pet friendly. The downside...we ordered 2 meals & when one arrived thought there must be a delay with the other...although odd because we had ordered exactly the same. My partner had nearly finished his when I asked the lady serving if mine was on the way to be told they had forgotten I had ordered & payed for 2 meals! I then had to wait another long amount of time before I actually received mine...by this point my partner had completely finished his..over all very frustrating. Also other little things like asking for condiments to be brought out which went ignored by the lady & just a general lack of customer service really from her. Like I said it’s a shame because the food wasn’t too bad & we were looking forward to visiting there.
