Ladys and Gents, i have been in this pub a couple of times and love it. Today Tony the landlord after discussions on Guinness asked me to try a pint in his pub. I have drank Guinness im many pubs in the Cannock area and have to say i have never had a better pint. Come and try it, i bet you a pint im not wrong.

Lovely little pub… with a very respectful and kind owner, who are very rare!

Just had a lovely meal there tonight, basic but home made, my husband said the best fish and chips he’s had for a long time , not greasy… definitely going again..

Best fish and chips around, beer batter cod is delicious and plentiful chips are home cooked and not frozen. Sunday lunches are also delicious with a good choice of meats and plenty of veg that is brought out separately Totally recommend this place to anyone guest food and friendly staff

Our walking group have just had tea and coffee and biscuts there today there was 24 people went in after we did our walk and they did us proud have booked again for September it was our first time there can't thank them anough for what they did

Dog friendly pub. Nice local. Home cooked meals what more can you ask for. Nice pint too.

We've had quite a few fish and chips also Sunday dinners absolutely first class and the staff are excellent 👍🍺

Absolutely lovely cannot fault the food they work hard and give 100% iff you havnt tried it I suggest you do you won't be disappointed

Great place. Gone downhill since Steve and Dee left. Werent made to feel welcome at all. Think they're now very anti bike.

Excellent food, friendly people, good value for money.

Lovely place to go for Sunday lunch, the barstaff are really friendly the two waitresses were very attentive making sure you had enough of everything or if you wanted anything else to go with the meal. The cook is nice and friendly came to see if we enjoyed everything. I'm definitely popping in here again for a dinner well worth the visit.

Really lovely home cooked food at very reasonable prices. There's a bit of a wait but so what if you're not in a rush? It's well worth it, highly recommended.

Just like to say we went for a meal at the Hazelslade pub today and we weren't disappointed. Food was first rate and everything was cooked fresh on the premises.we wll definitely be going back.
