J’ai adoré l’expérience ! L’accueil était impeccable, l’allégresse que semaient les serveurs/serveuses dans ce restaurant… top ! Puis les plats, rien à dire, assiettes pleines de saveurs… L’ambiance chaleureuse et harmonieuse du restaurant nous plonge dans un moment bien particulier. Les toilettes sont propres et correctement entretenues. J’avoue cependant avoir eu du mal à trouver la localisation du restaurant, tout en ayant utilisé GoogleMaps 😖

We only stopped for a couple of appetizers, and a drink. At the bar, late afternoon, things were starting to get busy. Food, service, etc., were all great.

Six sober professionals booked an early evening meal as part of a Christmas get together. Our table was booked 1630-1800 (remember this, a 90 minute booking). We were seated immediately but sneered at when we asked to choose from the main menu, rather than the Christmas menu (started at £55!). Service was reasonably quick but we endured the next 30 minutes subjected to tables and chairs being dragged round in front of us as staff rearranged the restaurant. My only complaint about the food was that rice - which is always served with your main meal in EVERY Turkish restaurant I've ever used - was a side dish which we had to pay extra for. Then after just 45 minutes, ie half way through our booking, we were told to move downstairs with our drinks as there was another booking about to arrive. One course - consisting of just 5 cubes of chicken or lamb - and one drink each cost over £200. Made to feel as welcome as a fart in an astronaut suit, the staff here have no interest in customer satisfaction and don't appear bothered if we don't return. For the record, we won't.

We went to Haz for lunch before a tour of St. Paul's cathedral. The restaurant is large and was very full while we were there - mostly a business lunch crowd. Food was good, quickly prepared and service was efficient. A good place for Mediterranean food in the area.

Wonderful. The staff are friendly and the service is good. The food is fresh and delicious with good size portions. The prices are reasonable. Cannot fault this restaurant.

In the center of England. Turkish Cuisine restaruntı between business centers. Rich, Meat, Chicken, Fish flavors will catch your mind with a magnificent restaurant.I strongly recommend you to go for lunch and dinner in the UK and take in the great tastes.

Had the most delicious food. Honestly some of the best tasting food I've ever had. I love Turkish dishes anyway but this was really special. Cant recommend it enough

Service was quite good (polite, efficient). Starter was pretty impressive - we had the “all day mezze” - very tasty and interesting. But the mains were very standard Turkish fayre - lots of meat, nicely cooked, nicely presented, but quite bland (no noticeable use of herbs and spices, hardly any seasoning) - slightly disappointing. Not cheap, so not great value for money.

We had booked online and received confirmation of the booking at the specific branch. Yet, the system had no booking!! Then once we ordered the drinks, it took too long to arrive even when we were the only guests present (we had lunch at Noon). Then we ordered the food and reordered more drinks. The starters (meze) arrived but drinks didn’t and we had to remind them. The main course eventually arrived but the mixed grill was tepid ie not hot. Clearly it was languishing on the plate for a while!! I was not impressed and will not be visiting this particular branch. I may try the branch next door on Cutler St just to see whether it is any better or worse.i used to go the one Mincing Lane and there I had no issues with food and service.

Suffering from food intolerances I am typically viewed as a nuisance and often asked to leave rather than be served! But Haz in EC3A Hounsditch Rd, London, couldn't be more different. The staff were attentive, understand food intolerances and went out of their way to make sure the food was safe for me to eat. Not only that, but they did it with gusto. They truly understand the meaning of service. I was in a hurry too and they didn't mind that either - they made sure I was served in time to enjoy my meal and leave in time. Lovely staff, lovely food. Will be back.

Had dinner with 3 friends. We shared hummus with pita bread then had moussaka, vegetarian moussaka and chicken stir fry. All very good.

My son and my friends found this place just in case; we were tired to walk in Bank District at night where all Not seems like tasty bars and caffe bars and serve just for Richee Bankers!; but we got well this place. More Arabic and Turkish taste but I noted that ingredients are authentic and fresh enough. I haven’t eaten Lamb meat since 10 years but somehow I chose this plate which was unforgettable DELICIOUS!!!! Not smelly lamb but with sweet apricot and sweet prugne deeply cooked have vanished this typical smell of Lamb. The meat was so soft and once you put into mouth, melt them. Mint, Paisley and pomegranate salad was so tasty and healthy.

Went there late for dinner after walking around the area. The food was pretty good and simple. Service was good and food to fairly short time to arrive. Really good if you are in the area and need food.

We visited this restaurant for our company Christmas meal, there was ten of us. Waitress was friendly and fairly quick with bringing the drinks. There was only the Christmas menu available, which was either £26.95, £30.95 or £37.95 fixed. we were informed we only had to select which main course we wanted as you received all the starters on each respective set menu. When the starters arrived, they consisted of a mixture of warm and very cold (straight from fridge). I struggled to identify most of them. I had explained I was dairy free but my starter contained at least 3 items with milk/butter. These were a mixture of awful/poor/barely acceptable. Main course for my was lamb chops, which arrived with perhaps half a small new potato & a salad leaf , nothing else, not even rice. The lamb was tasteless which is a first for a Turkish. Dessert again consisted of items of which I am not even sure what they were. Overall, service was ok but food terrible and hugely over priced. Don't Go!

Excellent food, well presented and nicely cooked. Great flavour and great service. Will go back. Nice lunch venue.

I loved eating here, it was authentic food with sophistication, served by great people who were happy to talk about the food and all had a real passion. Loved my food,every dish had great flavour and texture combinations.This is a must for those who are close to Liverpool Street, it is simply gorgeous and for vegans, they have a great range of food. The artichoke is a perfect dish to start with and the blueberry and avocado salad is exceptional too! 10/10!

Me encantó este restaurante todo fue excelente, desde el servicio hasta la comida. El servicio fue realmente rápida, aunque era un lugar concurrido y la comida era deliciosa, ahora este es mi restaurante favorito. Llevé a mi familia y cuando nos fuimos todo el mundo dice que me encantó y me encantaría volver. Muy feliz cuando me enteré de que tenía más ramas, me encanta ir a todos ellos.

Si comer en ningún otro lugar cuando en la ciudad, comer aquí. El cordero con ciruelas, albaricoques y almendras, el cordero servido en la articulación, no es de este mundo. Visita Londres por negocios, encontramos este restaurante muy concurrido ya a las 6 de la tarde y nos vimos tentados por el menú. La elección era amplia y nos decidimos por un meze para compartir y probar muchos platos. Muy contentos con nuestra elección y la variedad de sabores. Hay un montón de personal y todo era amable y eficiente, sin duda volveré, gracias.

En este lugar encontré a un miércoles por la noche y era muy tranquila. La comida era sensacional, con uno de los mejores musakkas que he tenido. El servicio era amable y eficiente, y hay una lista decente vino con mucha variación. Mi única queja es que, como parece ser una tendencia creciente en Londres que agregar el cargo por servicio a la factura. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Tuvimos un almuerzo rápido aquí antes de Navidad: todo el mundo parecía estar entorno en Navidad para comidas extenso pero nos empujaba a tiempo. La comida estaba bien, y el servicio bastante agradable. Es razonable, dada la resonantly ubicación en la ciudad, y mientras no esperes cocina Cordon Bleu levantine entonces es bien para comidas fáciles.

Me fui con algunos colegas, aproximadamente 20. Debo admitir que estaba emocionado cuando me dijeron que íbamos a un restaurante turco.

Licht en ruim interieur. We hadden direct een tafel voor twee. Overzichtelijke kaart met prettige gerechten. Lamsvlees was heerlijk, mixed grill ook echter iets te pittig. Prima keuze uit desserts. Wij kozen allebei het gefrituurde ijs. Op zich is dit uiteraard een verrassende creatie, het resultaat ervan vond ik minder. Redelijk vlak van smaak en veel te veel en veel te zwaar.Qua eten en de prijs ervan een prima restaurant. Geen topklasse maar gewoon prima. De bediening was echter niet bepaald attent. Een aantal keer moesten we de aandacht trekken omdat we kennelijk niet gezien werden. Daardoor moesten we regelmatig wachten, terwijl het niet druk was en een serveerster uitgebreid met de kok stond te praten. Jammer, want deze zaak heeft best potentie om er meer uit te halen.

Questa e' la seconda volta che ci andiamo, nel nostro precedente viaggio a Londra avevamo mangiato molto bene allora abbiamo deciso di ritornarci per cena, il ristorante e' incastonato tra i gratacieli della City, abbiamo mangiato molo bene, la carne cotta alla griglia, con ottime salse e pane caldo, patatine. Ambiente piccolino pero' confortevole e ben tenuto, un plauso particolare alla Manager Denis che e' una ragazza toscana veramente gentile, si ricordava dopo un anno di noi aveva appena iniziato a lavorare nel ristorante, ci sa' fare con i clienti una vera padrona di casa, ci ha offerto il prosecco e un dolce tipico turco veramente buono. Siamo stati contenti della scelta e sicuramente ci torneremo nei prossimi nostri viaggi futuri a Londra, auguriamo a Denis buona fortuna per il proseguo della sua carriera.

A lovely venue for a business lunch. Three of us enjoyed a delicious meal - the mixed grill in particular a lovely selection of charcoal grilled meats. Great service with the waitress spotting a corked bottle of wine before serving it. Reasonably priced and the lovely smell of grilled meat will tempt you in!

This is a great place to have a business lunch or even to meet up with friends. Set lunch menus are available and are reasonably priced for the City. The service is prompt and friendly and the welcome is always warm. In summer the widows are opened giving an al fresco feel to the place.

Ate here for business as two - friendly service, quick and attentive. We had some nice bread to start with an oil and yogurt dip, then both had Tavuk Iskender (charcoal grilled chicken with tomato and yogurt sauce) and a side of spinach. Peppermint tea and green tea afterwards. The waiter misheard the tea order and I got English breakfast tea but they replaced this quickly.

Was served by Denise who was very kind and helpful. She looked after me from the moment i walked in. I was waiting for an important phone call and my phone was low on battery and Denise offered to put it on charge. I had the chocolate cake dessert here... it was absolutely amazing! I was tempted to order another one but had to control myself.

We go often to Haz. The food is delicious, staff friendly and attentive. We usually share several mezze plates. Always good. Grilled meats most tasty. Lebanese wine, our favourite. Great authentic Turkish coffee and baklava. A dining pleasure.

Nice food, nice staff, nice place, nice restaurant, nice wines, nice people, everything is nice in this place. See you again.

Love this restaurant love the stafff everyone is very helpfull and the food is amazing love it i would recommend everyone to try it also the food arrrives really quick love it

The food at this restaurant is good, however the bad service overshadows this. The restaurant only had three full tables when I went but for some reason the service was slow and the waitress got our drinks order wrong. Furthermore, when we asked for the bill, it took so long we had to ask two different waiters before we got it. The service charge is incorporated into the bill, which we disputed because the restaurant wasn't busy and it still took a while for our orders to be taken for each course.

(Note: this is not the Haz on Bishopsgate)The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing and the food is good quality. Good selection of small plates, mostly Greek items. The prices are high but you are paying to be in the heart of the City of London. The service is very respectful of your private space, so much so that unobservant people would think service was stand-offish. We enjoyed not being interrupted as we enjoyed our meal but being able to get instant service when we were ready. We enjoyed our relaxing meal.

The food is nice, especially if you get a mixed grill. The service has been good every time we've gone, so I am surprised it has not been for some! In addition I left an extra bag there by mistake on a Friday, I called up and they kept it for me until the following Monday, all possessions and valuables intact which was a huge relief. My friends and I will definitely be returning as we like the food and it's in a nice convenient location for where we like to go out afterwards.

The place was about 10% full when we arrived on a Friday evening. We were seated in the window right beside the front counter. After we were seated, the two staff at the counter pretty much blanked us out for the whole meal. The woman who was supposedly serving us seemed to spend most of the time flirting with the guy at the counter. We knew they could hear us talking, as the guy would snort with derision each time I commented to my partner about something on the menu. As if somehow every customer is supposed to be an expert on every dish in every restaurant, before they have even tried it.The food in general was ok, however the rice portion was tiny (eg half a small bowl). We weren’t asked about whether we enjoyed the meal, and in fact there was almost zero interaction between the staff and us.Service charge was not optional.To top it all off, the toilets were disgusting.We will never go back again.

Had early dinner here with my wife. Am not sure what has happened but this place has lost all sense of being a restaurant. I had steak which cold and tough covered in a congealed mushroom sauce which as very bland and cold. My wife had the moussaka which was cold and probably a few days old. The service was lousy where in the end i just waved my arms about to get any attentionWith a bottle of wine the bill come to £112. Never going back avoid this place at all costs.

Visited Haz last night with partner; I've been before and really enjoyed it. Most of the food was ok and the service very good but I had the lamb tagine. It was pretty flavourless but what the sauce did contain was a razor- sharp slither of bone, and inch and a half or so long, about half an inch wide at the base, and very thin, upon which I think I was pretty lucky to only prick the inside of my cheek. If I had swallowed it I would have been a hosptial case.This kind of turned me off finishing the main course although the resaurant did offer me another dish - the problem was that they did this when my partner had finished. One of the staff did say that "At least the coffe was ok", so its nice that they saw the funny side of it, I'm just afraid that I didn't.Won't be back.

Visited Haz last night. Have always been really happy with the food and the service. Unfortunately this wasn't the case last night. Service was very poor and the food was served nearly cold. Two of the meals were taken off of the bill and we were given champagne as a sorry, but then the bill came and they had added £10.00 service charge. We asked for that to be removed. The stand in Manager was very apologetic. I can only say that maybe it was because the usual manager wasn't there. I asked where he was and was told he is away on holiday. Obviously without him standards of service and food have suffered. We will go back again as usually it is so nice.

Accueil chaleureux, ambiance assez feutrée, service pro, cuisine parfaite, avec un choix aux saveurs variées et sympathiques. Que demander de plus? J'y suis allé par hasard avec des collègues et nous avons tous été satisfaits. Vous pouvez franchir la porte de ce restaurant sans hésitation.

We were lucky enough to be able to persuade the guy at the door to give us each a free glass of sparkling if we came in to eat. The starters were very tasty but mine was so large that it filled me up for my main. However, what I did eat of my main was very nice, although there was quite a mound of yoghurt in the centre of the dish. The rest of my party were also impressed with their choice of starter and main. When the bill came it had a service charge on which we asked to be removed so we could give our tip in cash and hoped that this would go direct to the staff and not into coffers of the management.

We ordered house champagne because it was a celebration and were served an Aussie fizz. When we questioned this we were told that this was the house champagne! When asked what actual champagne they had the waiter suggested a couple including prosecco which we again pointed out wasn't champagne. We were told he would send the manager over - but he ignored us. Anyway we didn't want to appear stroppy or snobby so decided to keep the fizz that they had already poured. Then we ordered the food. The starters were good but they served a lamb tagine instead of a chicken tagine for one of the main courses. Attention to detail not great. Whilst we have visited other Haz branches before and had great food and service we wouldn't recommend this particular branch and wouldn't visit here again.

Horrible horrible horrible! Arrogant staff, horrible food, expensive bill! I would have gone to a normal pub instead!

Good food, but awful service.I handed in my bag and coat to their cloakroom on one tag: but I only got the bag back. Management refused to accept responsibility, didn't apologised, and failed to respond to calls or emails.My advice is this: enjoy the food, but don't have high expectations for the service. And DO NOT use the cloakroom service - I'm now £1500 out of a coat.

Having had a lunch for three there on Thursday 22nd, I was disappointed. Food was nice, however, service very poor. This is not a large restaurant and it was not even full. Having asked for water with no ice or lemon / lime, glass appeared full of the ice. When I objected, waitress could not even be bothered to get a clean glass but only dropped the ice in a wine glass that was on the table I was not going to use. This is not good!Side of the French fries was forgotten about when food was served and it took another 5 minutes to get this out to us. Finally, after being asked if all was ok when we were paying the bill, I told the waiter that two of us having Cevizli Kasarli Kofte (lamb with walnuts and halloumi) could not find any sign of this cheese on a plate - this got a very strange reaction from the manager who was called to explain why. And this manager kept going on about this even when we were leaving through the door after we paid the bill in full. Food was nice but would not go back there I am afraid - and can not recommend either.

Tavuk Iskander and Tavuk Tandir - both were delicious with the former the clear winner, thanks to the signature yoghurt from the Mediterranean that takes the taste of grilled chicken to a different plane altogether. In general, I am a great fan of Greek and Turkish food, and this place did surely live up to the expectation. The two dishes made us lighter by a little over £20. Very welcoming staffs and prompt service! I am game for a repeat!

on a Thursday lunchtime, the restaurant was busy so it was fortunate that a booking had been made. The quality of the value menu at lunchtime was excellent at £11.95 plus the service charge. The drinks prices were reasonable. The staff coped well with the large number of diners and service was very good. I have eaten here at least three times over the last few years always at lunchtime and have not been disappointed yet. Well worth a visit!

We ate here last week and were surprised to see the restaurant open over the weekend, which is good.The food and the service was good but and I guess it’s my own fault but, there was a service charge on the bill, which I did not see so I added a further 10% to the total ,which mean an £8 tip of a £35 meal.The annoying thing is that this was not pointed out to us by the waitress.So, nice food but beware.

Si vous aimez les saveurs orientales (humus, taboulé,...) c'est un bon choix dans la City. Le service est correct et rapide et les prix raisonnables. J'y retournerai sans aucun doute.

Si vous cherchez un restaurant qui soit d'un bon rapport qualité prix, allez-y ! Tout les produits sont fait maison ! Service impeccable, on se régale ! Idéale pour un diner en amoureux, ambiance tamisé. Le personnel est très agréable et disponibles ! Compté 50£ pour 2 en moyenne. Entré plat + vinJ'y retournerais

A la recherche d'un restaurant autours de notre hôtel, nous sommes tombé par hasard sur Haz.Excellente surprise.Menu de plat libanais très copieux et très bien préparé. Accueil très chaleureux par le patron qui nous a offert une pâtisserie avant le dessert.Le tout pour un prix raisonnable pour Londres (60 euros à 2 avec menu vin et dessert).A conseiller si vous vous cherchez un restaurant au coeur de la city

We kwamen hier toevallig voorbij op een zaterdagavond.Prima gegeten.Enkel minpuntjes: het irriterende lachje van de ober, tenslotte het feit dat hij de aandacht verloor voor de gasten toen er enkele dames verschenen voor een glas champagne voor de verjaardag van een van hun.

Haz was extremely busy on Friday lunchtime and I can see why. Food is excellent and value for money. The service is friendly and efficient. We did not book a table however I would recommend booking at busy times. Definitely worth trying!

I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions at lunchtime, and once early evening, the food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are very attentive without being pushy, worth going to good atmosphere, give it a try.

A last minute post beer decision to eat in the City on a Thursday evening... decided on Haz Wine & Dine as close for all parties. Lovely summers evening so grabbed a table for 4 outside. The moment we sat down the manageress came over and welcomed us and took great care to ensure we were comfortable. Menu was a good mix of grills, stews, bites and traditional middle-eastern delights. We all opted for various dishes with one of us being a veggie - he was spoilt for choice. The waitress & manageress that looked after us were cheerful and jokey with us, the food was very tasty and full of flavour (recommend the mixed grill) and a very pleasant meal was had by all. Will 100% go back when in the City.

Great food options, on set menus in particular. Chilled out vibe!
