Amazing restaurant lovely staff and great value for money. Thoroughly recommended

Affordable Sunday carvery. No bells and whistles but good value for money, we visited near the end of the service which meant some of the veggies were getting a little tired but that's only to be expected. One of us a huge All Day Breakfast which came fully loaded :-) June 2024 update... Father's Day, we were looked after by George and team, super meal.

Popped in yesterday (4 Adults, 3 young kids). Highly recommend, all good was great atmosphere great, fantastic family feel, large portions, great value

Went there for Breakfast with the family before Chessington (9th June). With free kids meals it works out good value. Firstly the service was great. 2 workers who were there were polite and friendly. It was busy there and they didn’t stop running around clearing plates, serving people. Food was nice. Good choice. Can ask for poached eggs, veggie sausages etc to be brought out. One small gripe - there should be utensil holders next to each dish. But all seem to get put on 1. So the one to get hash browns is with the one to get sausages & bacon etc. Not an issue for most but vegetarians & Muslims for instance it could cause issue. If we went to Chessington again we’d deffo come here again for food :)

Positive suprised! Very nice food to a nice price. Nice staff aswell. Not so pub-like, could have more different kinds of beer.

Short staffed unfortunately had to wait ages to get our table, prawn cocktail mediocre, fish and chips nothing to write home about, wouldn't go there again although staff were friendly......

Met up with a friend and her daughter for lunch - had the 2 mains for 11.99 and desserts for 2.99 and the kids 3 course for 5.99. Would recommend for a cheaper pub option.

I visited this venue many times over the years and last came in January and was very dissatisfied in the quality of food. However, I was asked to visit today and I could not believe how the quality of food had changed, the chicken burger was very tasty and the chips were actually hot and crispy I am delighted to say I will be coming back.

We had a great Sunday lunch there today. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The biggest problem was the beef it was as tough as old leather I think Brewers are using the wrong cut of beef all the other vegetables and roast potatoes were very good. Would I go back yes when the beef improves))))

Perfect family restaurant for an affordable little dinner ! If you come before 6 you can get 2 mains for £11.99 and can add a desert for £2.99 Very good size meals! Always very tasty! Staff are very friendly and helpful Recommend the lasagna!

Appalling service. Booked a table for 2, arrived no one was at the desk. After waiting some minutes, we were shown to a table, again to wait even longer. No one came to serve us, so we decided to leave. To be honest, it was as if we were ghosts in there, but if we were served we may have drunk a few spirits.

We love visiting, great atmosphere, great staff ( George and his crew) and good and tasty value for money grub ?? Always a win for our family.

Called in here to kill some time before an appointment yesterday. It's a typical brewers fayre really. Cheap and cheerful. Car park is tiny and there is not much other parking that I saw close by so keep that in mind. The lady with long blond hair in a ponytail was very good at her job, running about dealing with everyone in a nice relaxed way about her. Food looked like any other brewers fayre but you know what it is before you get there. Don't forget to add your reg plate into the tablet when you arrive for the car park.

I chose this Brewers Fayre because it had a higher review rating and wasn't disappointed. There's lot's of parking but remember to register your number plate. There's a good choice on the menu and as it was Sunwe had the carvery. There was lots of choice of veg and potato and everything was fresh and hot. The service was really quick despite being really busy. The staff were all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was really clean and felt fresh and airy.

We are regulars at Chessington World of Adventures and usually eat at the Monkey Puzzle, but our last visits there have been appalling. We did a bit of searching and found the Haywain, totally different - the restaurant is spotless, the staff are friendly and very efficient, you get the feeling that nothing is too much trouble. We visited on a Sunday and it seemed very quiet, but the food arrived quickly and was well presented. It is very reasonable too, we'll be visiting again

It was a really good visit , team always going above and below, thanks for the great experience, great food and fabulous hospitality.

The food was really nice but we are 4 adults and were seated with families with little children when there were seats elsewhere. We asked to move. It's order at the bar which is a downside as the service to bring to table was great but it meant no tip as we had already paid. There was no tip jar we could see on the bar so we felt the waiting staff miss out. Not much atmosphere so probably won't come back as it was a bit of a way for us.

Very nice inside. Just had a couple of ciders and the price was very reasonable. Will come again. Once spring and summer get here it will be nice to sit outside. Loads of outside seating. Thanks guys.

Very polite staff. Excellent customer service. Generous portion sizes. The 2 main meals for £11.99 are excellent value for money. Manager very helpful chap, helped with the bonus card.

This was our second time going here for a meal, as before the staff and service was good. The choice of food was good and well presented, along with being well cooked we will be more than happy to recommend and return again.

A good value place to eat. The food is nicely cooked and the staff friendly. I would think great for a group or family meal

Room very cold , plug in radiator but thermostat didn't appear to work, hot water wasn't that hot. And in the morning there were 2 drunks outside laying on the path swearing and drinking.

Standard Brewers Fayre food, perfectly acceptable if not amazing. Remember to enter your car registration at the desk to avoid a penalty.

Had a great meal here with friends, good value for money and traditional pub food served.

When I booked I mentioned it was my daughter’s 18th , there was a birthday banner on the table and they gave her a gift as well. Both bar staff came over with our cake we took in and sang happy birthday, they made a real effort. We went for lunch on the 15th of December’23

Lovely atmosphere, small portions but food was good. Service was courteous

Would have liked to give it a 3.5 rating but doesn't do .5. The lower rating I've given it is solely on my personal experience and not that of the party I was in. Wasn't able to park in car park as very limited spaces, so had to drive around to find somewhere. When ordering drinks, I had to repeat myself a few times in order to get the correct drink. Was told there was an half hour wait, no problem with that except that it took just over an hour. Having arrived at 7.30,(I didn't order a starter), my main meal came about 9.15. The food and service were good and the pub itself was welcoming but not being a local, I had a long drive home which, having waited so long to eat meant I was much later getting home than I wanted to be. Apart from those issues, if I were local I would visit again.

Very nice place, went there for drinks with a couple of friends, the cocktails were very nice and the prices are great, also very friendly staff !

Really poor service, got charged £2.75 for a splash of orange juice ! Waitress laughed at our complaint! Roast was not good meat not nice and potatoes auful

Affordable place. Last Friday I was there with the family, the service was excellent and the food was good too. I met one of the guys i think his name is George, very good person and amazing treat. Definitely im coming back 😊

Zero stars to this place, went there for breakfast and found the so-called manager to be incredibly rude and sarcastic. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Would not recommend.

After cutting my finger peeling potatoes and a three hour visit to Epsom General we decided to go to this restaurant and try the food. Two adult and one kids carvery later we left full, well fed and happy. We were seated without a prior reservation and both waitresses were lovely asking us if we needed anything and ensuring we were looked after. In addition Khaled served us the carvery and explained everything perfectly. The food standard was high everything being well cooked, great variety and delicious. The drinks were a bit sub par with watery soft drinks being the main gripe. Overall we will definitely visit again hopefully without the preceding hospital visit :)

First time we visited the Haywain. We had sirloin steaks which were very tasty. We will go back for the pre Christmas menu

Nice and friendly restaurant. Went there for Sunday roast. Unfortunately, the beef the chef gave only 3 slice, and half of it is fat. My husband loves roast beef so much, he also could not eat it. Unable to Chew it.

Parking is deplorable disabled bays need marking clearly

Friendly helpful service . Breakfast tasted OK though needed to be checked on more often by kitchen as a few things did run out . Easy to find and no problem with parking

Popped in for the breakfast buffet and had a great experience, good food, good service and reasonable prices
