Service was very bad !! Directly after eating we got the bill before we even asked for it !!! Toilet didn’t work and when I asked why the door doesn’t open got wrong answer yes we have toilet!!! Food was good .

I am tourist, a friend directed me to this restaurant if i want an authentic iraqi cuisine, I ordered kebab was perfect, my relative ordered bass fish came awesome, pictures says more than words, over all prices were decent, plus the owner hospitality and generosity, staff were working like bees 🐝

**2 out of 5 stars** I visited Hawler Restaurant and had quite a mixed experience. On a positive note, the portions served were generous and the staff welcomed us warmly. Unfortunately, the experience took a downturn with our main course. The fish was undercooked, showing visible blood inside, and despite sending it back for further cooking, it returned still undercooked. When we voiced our concerns, the staff's response was dismissive, showing a lack of care for our dining experience. While the initial service was commendable, the handling of our food complaint was disappointing.

Ordered grilled Kebab, was terribly oily and full of fat, not well cooked, made me nauseated. Waiter was rude and unfriendly.

I had to wait more than half an hour for one qozi and my friend ordered Tashrib which was full of salt so he could not eat it and when he told one guy of the service staff just ignored us without any excuse. I had been there before but the food was okey. I hope they work on the staffs behaviour.

Terrible! Bread was burnt, chips were undercooked and they didn’t even give us a menu; how shameful. Also, I asked for orange juice and it has bits and it was warm - warm orange juice is crazy. anyway, other than that, the meat is cooked good and salad is good aswell. I love my Kurdish people and all but it’s a no from me today. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I had a lamb chop dish for dinner. A salad and humus with a freshly baked pita bread came as complementary appetizer. And this good portion of the lamp chop. I chose it with a bed of rice. Great choice. Will go back the again.

Faraha is a very nice restaurant and the food is once in a lifetime I swear to God that you would eat there every day and they have hospitality before eating. The prices are reasonable and not expensive given the quality of the food and the taste.

The food is incredibly amazing. Quality price is the best that you can get in the area. The staff is super friendly and if you are not custom to the food. They can provide you with great advice. Dash looked after us very well! Thank you.

This place is so underrated and often over looked by people due to the other 2 popular Kurdish restaurants a few hundred yards down . Ive been here a few times now and I’ve never left disappointed. Their prices are lower than the others , while not compromising on taste. Dont listen to those silly 1 stars reviews , most of them either have under 15 reviews ( newbeeies) or are talking about delivery . Go dine there and you will remember me , you wont regret it . Fantastic place to eat . Enjoy 😉 ( everything you see in the picture cost £11 , the soup was already eaten before the picture was taken , sorry 😂)

I visited on the evening of 9th of January this year . I was charged £16.00 for a Doulma that was worse than rubbish taste and make , the rice in it was less than two spoons , the guy there who seems to be very attnetive and friendly with a group of women and kids did not bother even look at my spot when I was trying to ask him about that horrible dish !!!!! Dont waste your money there if you worked hard to earn them !!!

Dash and Hiva really treated us well, and, the food is the best middle eastern food which I have had in London, Ive tried many places. This is real Kurdish food and I feel I am in a local restaurant. Lentil soup, fish, kofta kebab are all outstanding!

Astonishing iraqi food, everything was so good, we tried kebab, qousi and tikka lamb. You get many starters before the main course for free. It's incredibly delicious.

The complimentary starters include a chicken soup which sets Hawler apart from the rest of the middle eastern restaurants serving lentil soup only. Prices and customer care was excellent with attentive serving staff. The chicken biryani was delicious with a mix of veggies and strands of vermicelli on a bed of rice and generous serving of roast chicken. The complimentary tea and baclava at the end was the perfect end to the hearty and wholesome food.

Been to quite a few of these on the Edgware Road and this is my favourite. The most friendly by far and all the usual complementaries — soup, salad, humus, pickles, and tea. Had huge platter for £55 that would probably serve 4-5. Not many places in London with such good value.

The food was very nice but the toilet was dirty and had a wet floor - I nearly slipped and inured myself.

The food is amazing, tasty,smell great and clean. Unfortunately, the service is so bad. Staff are really rude , specially a man with thick mustachios even the ladies are always grumpy. The atmosphere however is ok, but sometimes it is too crowded there.

Very friendly staff, amazing service and a lot of complimentary items as well fast and efficient service. The food was excellent. The waitress who served me and my family, Dash she was very helpful and was very kind was very pleased with her service. Very disappointed with this restaurant. I had just come back from the gym with 2 of my friends and were hungry to eat. Firstly, appetisers came in an instant as soon as we sat down and seemed like it was sitting out for a while. Secondly, the customer service was bad from servers (except for one lady). Last and more importantly, when we came to pay, the lady server asked cash or card and we said card and split 3 way. She brought the card machine with the full amount. We reiterated that we wanted it split. She groaned and left the table to consult her manager. 20 seconds later, the manager tells us they only take cash because “the bank just called them (within the 20 seconds) and cut off their card machine,” which makes NO SENSE. We were in a rush so I had to go to a bank nearby and pull out cash to pay them. When we payed, the servers didn’t even smile or thank us (even after we thanked them) and gave us rude looks as we stormed out the restaurant. The only positive was the mix grill which is about 1% of the whole experience. Atmosphere is dead (I find it more alive in an exam hall) Never again, and would not recommend!

Personally I love Hawler. I read some reviews complaining about service. Fair enough, it is friendly but uneven. But food of this quality, at these prices, in Central London? I can forgive some slow service and don't mind waiting a little longer to eat here. It's hard to beat.

Definitely one of the best middle eastern resturant in the area. Tasty food, good portion size and very reasonable prices. The service was great. The girls were very efficent in dealing with customers. They even served extra food for free.

Sure, I'd be happy to share a bad restaurant experience. One evening, I went to a restaurant with a group of friends. The service was incredibly slow, and it took ages for our orders to be taken. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The server didn't seem attentive to our concerns, and it took multiple attempts to get their attention to address the issue. The overall atmosphere was disappointing, and it left a negative impression on all of us. We ended up leaving the restaurant feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with the entire experience.

Food was ok service was fast only the price was higher than usual especially they charge £11 for nuggets and fries without drink in mc Donald’s is £3 with drink .

Delicious food served fast. Lots of freebies like lentil soup, salad, hummus with naan etc. Excellent value for money. For 5 of us the bill came to £62.50 and lots of food was left that we packed and took home.

I definitely didn’t get a Fatoush salad - check the pictures ! Some tomato leftovers was my salad and for the baba ganoug- excuse me , did you measure it and made sure you add just 100 grams or what is this joke ?

Nice food. Much more important than the food, the toilets are clean not like other Kurdish restaurants in the are, most of them are disgusting.

Serwice is good, food is delicious, price is high, +2,5£ for any grill order, 16£ for one person grill it is to mich.

Phenomenal! We arrived on Eid evening and the restaurant was packed with a queue outside. We waited and once seated , the food and service , manager was extraordinary considering how busy the place was. Grill platters were WOW and endless naans !

We ordered by Uber Eats many times from this restaurant, gave way too many chances and the service is still rubbish. One item always missing, as happened today as well with my fatoush salad. Before that with my lentil soup. We stopped order from them, it’s not what we pay for anymore.
