Very nice resturant , delicous food , service was not good by mistake we have got to wrong orders which have been changed , we got littel mad then ms alicia came and apologie and change all the madness to joy she is nice very proffisional and finally make the bill on the house 👍🏼

I would have preferred seasonal veg as opposed to salad with my Wellington but otherwise really great food. A bit loud too but it was busy

It took 45 mins for steaks to be served. Small portion. Over priced. Such a disappointment given this restaurant’s reputation.

Absolutely a day ruined. Service was rude and terrible. We followed up on our food 30 min after ordering but was told that "a roast would take 20 min and it's not been 20 min yet". We then told the waiter that it's been clearly more than 20 min, he then said "I didn't do the cooking and it's not my fault". Totally disappointed and would not visit again. You can definitely find a nicer roast with much better service in London.

Oh dear. Such a disappointment. Came here for a HUGE important meal and it's just disappointing on every front. They said they didn't have a table ready when the restaurant was empty (we had booked). The service was disjointed all night. The plates were cold. The food was good... But at the prices you really need it to be good. I guess I remember going to the first one in Shoreditch when it felt special. It no longer feels special.

It's a nice restaurant, good location. But the food is overpriced and just ok. Nothing was hot, and everything was lukewarm. The dishes are served in cast iron which looks good, but not heated so just for show. Service was very good.

First or all I was surprised at how big the restaurant was once upstairs effectively running along Regent Street. Nonetheless, the service was still very good and the food very prompt. The steak was delicious and cooked rare/medium rare just as requested. The puddings are very rich if you have room. I would recommend probably sharing one between two at least. If you are interested in bringing your own wine to drink, corkage is reduced to just £5 per bottle on a Monday.

After seeing all the YouTube videos about Hawksmoor, expectations were sky-high. It was good but not exceptional. The staff doesn't wear uniforms but private clothes, which is unusual for a restaurant. The staff is running back and forth and is quick to refill your water, and for this, you pay an "optional" 12,5% service fee. I don't feel it is optional, and I prefer the system where you can enter tips on the card terminal. We went for the Express menu, which had three starters, main courses, and desserts. You can choose two dishes for £29 or three for £33, which is quite attractive. We decided on the potted meat and bacon starter, which was both delicious and a rather big serving. The rump steak was tasty but a bit tough, and it didn't come with any sauce (you can order sauce separately). The watercress salad was fresh, though. We decided on different desserts, but the passionfruit Pavlova was refreshing. The restaurant is boisterous, and this is not where to have an important conversation.

Prime rib was nice and tasty but chateaubriand was disappointing by not being as tender as expected, low on flavour too. I wouldn’t order that again but we would happily go with the prime rib sharing. Service was nice and friendly.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was great . Location is iconic. Great on a Sunday as well had the Sunday roast.

Last time I am here. Too loudy atmosphere. Noise too much. Serving awful. Not enough waiters I guess. Meat was really disappointed. Finally price too much. We were disappointed with the food.

Meh - Mediocre Went for Sunday lunch, beef was good, as expected but everything else felt like a let down. The restaurant fit out is cheap, lots of wood veneer, feels very much like a cheap hotel/airport restaurant. Super noisy, acoustics clearly not considered. Crowd mostly tourists. As I say beef good but sides just ok, nothing wow and potatoes not shaken after boiling so didn’t have a great crispy outer. Potatoes not particularly tasty, felt like any generic spud from a supermarket. Veg was cabbage and carrots and that was it. Received the wrong wine by mistake but only found out when the bill was £60 higher. Team did sort when highlighted. Wouldn’t return for Sunday lunch nor another occasion, just felt very unloved. Many, many other options at this price point in London

Not great. The server at the end was fine. But not being able to swap out food because of dietary restrictions is a bit ridiculous. Especially when you're removing chips that are £6.50 and you're just asking for one extra egg. That total no is a little bit, I feel, a bit over the top. There is a considerable amount of reasonable that should apply. And there wasn't any very rushed food. But I guess that's when you do a lunchtime menu. They just get you in and out and get the part-time chefs in. Ah, this is for Hawksmore.

Had an amazing time with my boyfriend at this restaurant for his birthday. The steak was delicious and so were the mussels too! We were pleasantly surprised by the candle and 'happy birthday' written on the plate!

It is a friendly and decent house. But UK prices are It's amazing. Just okay to eat It's decent, but considering it's British, it's delicious.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We will definitely be going back to Hawksmoor on Air street. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the mussels were delicious. I would also recommend trying the cocktails! Everyone was friendly and helpful, which added to the experience.

My mate and I went to Hawksmoor for lunch today. It was a pleasant experience. There was a little issue with the order, but Adil was really friendly and helped us sort it out. We were chuffed with it. Thanks a lot! I highly recommend this branch of Hawksmoor. It has amazing food and service.

So perfect and so good, I really don't know where to start? The food is incredible, the drinks menu outstanding and the service is just impeccable. You really get the impression that the service folks genuinely care about you and that's what makes all the difference. Will Guidara refers to this as "Unreasonable [levels of] Hospitality". I would happily select Hawksmoor Air Street for my last meal on earth: I'd enjoy and savour the food and leave the venue skipping, before heading to a corner to shuffle off my mortal coil. It really is *that* good. God, I feel so sorry for vegetarians :D

Have enjoyed the food and service several times. However, on our last experience the atmosphere was a bit of a letdown as we could hardly hear our conversations with our group. The atmosphere was certainly louder and informal (some with caps and very dressed down) than other occasions, perhaps due to other clientele and felt a lot more casual than on previous dinner occasions (at times felt like a pub atmosphere). For the area and price paid, you'd definately expect a slightly more upscale (smart/casual) atmosphere. Lovely friendly from staff and also the food was great too and hopefully will be back and hopefully not as loud next time.

So sad about our experience. Ordered the prime rib which was great but the potatoes were cold, not enough gravy and no staff to ask if we were ok during the food. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry myself and I know it can be difficult when it’s super busy (which it was). Everyone who served us was lovely may I add, it just wasn’t good value for money.

We booked a table at 5:30 for the pre-theatre express menu. Good: The food was delicious and good portion sizes. Steak cooked correctly. Service by one man in particular was amazing, thanks Adil for making our experience lovely. Bad: They forgot about our main course. A table next to us that arrived after us, got both their starter and main in the time we were waiting for our main course. Once reminded they did bring it but when we asked for condiments there was a further delay in bringing those so we had to ask again. Also very noisy and busy, not a relaxing dining experience, and the rest of the servers were slightly curt/rude. Overall nice but not worth the money in my opinion.

Food was fantastic as always steak seared and seasoned to perfection. Crispy chips and staff are some if the friendliest and best in the business 10/10

Good food, esp the express menu. Decent atmosphere. Extremely slow service by wait staff. Food came out quick actually. I don’t see why it can be that hard to order food (had to keep asking and eventually asked another server to place the order). Your wait staff are obviously overwhelmed and understaffed

Service is great, steaks were great. Might be my own fault that I ordered a salad as a side dish. It was as if they dissected an entire head of lettuce, and then placed whole leaves in a bowl. Made it impossible to eat because the leaves were too big to eat and the bowl too small to use cutlery in. The carpaccio was also a bit too salty for my liking. The steaks were amazing though, 10/10 for sure. As for the ambience, it is difficult to hear yourself think, let alone hear the servers. I get they want to ply music, but the music is so bad it ruins the entire mood. Had to step outside for a bit. It was hard to walk back in to all the noise.

We came here for the Full English Breakfast, which although it was very good in terms of taste, it was disappointingly small. As there were 2 of us, we ordered the breakfast for 2, and for £50 we would have expected more than just one fried egg each, just one sausage each, one slice of black pudding each, and one bacon chop between the two of us - the bacon chop was a good size, but if you have a good appetite what's advertised as a breakfast for 2 is more accurately a big breakfast for one. Including either a tea or coffee in the high price tag would have been nice, but that was extra. In the end we needed to order additional friend eggs and more toast. And oddly, butter is served on the side to have with the toast and needs to be asked for, which we found a little bizarre - warm sourdough toast and butter are made for each other, one would think! The serving staff were attentive & friendly, the food was very nice but was very far from being good value. That said, the breakfast experience won't stop me from eating at Hawksmoor again, but it will not be for the modestly sized breakfast. I know from experience of having eaten at the Manchester Hawksmoor that although still pricey, the regular menu is very good and is better value for money.

Fantastic steak cooked perfectly how we liked it, and great service with a very helpful and pleasant waiter. It was busy, and although there was some noise, we could still hold a conversation easily. We will be back.

An incredibly tasty and good restaurant. Perfect from start to finish. So good, in fact, that we ate there again the next day. Anyone who likes quality will love it

Brilliant location and staff attention. Buzzy atmosphere noisy enough to add to that but not to stop normal conversation. Will return.

Great food, great decor and Impeccable service from our waiter who rescued a couple of situations ( A wobbly table, lack of plates and the sharer steak not being sliced). My only real negatives were the level of noise (very loud) and the portion sizes for the sides were on the small size and did not represent value for the prices charged. On the whole a good experience. They know how to cook a steak but the atmosphere is quite chaotic. It’s not a relaxing experience.

Lovely people, food and ambience. I could not fault the restaurant at all. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. I came here on a date and we both had a very nice experience.

Excellent food a little bit expensive, should have less expensive wines

First time at the Air street Hawksmoor and loved the setting. Pre theatre so a bit rushed (by us) but staff very attentive to that and got us through a beautiful ribeye with chips and sides and time for a couple of cheeky deserts. Just missed out on “rolos” to take away! Next time.

The service was very good. Everyone was proud of their work. I also wanted to learn more. It was a very good experience.

Went for the express menu (pre theatre) as we were going to the theatre afterwards for our 2 year anniversary. We were absolutely stuffed afterwards as portions were great and the food was incredible. The staff were so lovely and friendly, every single one of them wished us a happy anniversary. Definitely recommend and would come back!

I chose Hawksmoor because I heard their Sunday Roast was fantastic. When I was ordering, the server sort of chuckled when I was ordering my beer, perhaps it was my accent? I shrugged it off, and I was pleased when I was asked what temperature I’d like my roast. I answered medium. I was very disappointed to find that two of the three slices were ends so tough and over done that I had to leave them on my plate. I’d hate to think that I was served a sub par dish and laughed at because I am American. That would be incredibly inhospitable. I’ll just hope that it was a coincidence, and go somewhere else next time.

Really looked forward to our visit Efficient service without feeling rushed. Excellent starters of heritage carrots and smoked mackerel salad Followed by fabulous filet cooked perfectly with a smoky crust. The ribeye however was a disappointment with too much fat relative to the edible steak, however this was addressed brilliantly by the staff who at the end of the meal and after my comment of such simply removed from the bill without question Excellent sauces and fabulous chips and fries (we had both) cooked in beef dripping I made up the removed ribeye from the bill with double payment of the service charge as couldn’t fault the service and didn’t want the service staff short changed. Would recommend for an indulgent treat but not too often if you want to avoid an early hear attack

Quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. Chateaubriand was incredible, excellent choice and quality of sides. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel special. Would recommend to anyone

Big fans of Hawksmoor, tried a lot of the other locations and first time we Air St. we were surprised to be disappointed by the quality of the chateaubriand (chewy) and a fillet steak came underdone. It took a long time to order and receive main courses. The saving grace was when we provided feedback to our server Adil, he seemed genuinely disappointed that our experience wasn’t what we were expecting and worked with management to improve matters, so much so we will give it another chance but not on a Sunday evening as it seems to be too busy for them.

Great experience as usual. We had an issue with a second order that was not to the standard we expected from the restaurant and it was brilliantly resolved by the restaurant manager. His reaction made a huge difference as it meant we would not hesitate to go back in the future. Overall great on all counts. Thank you

Went to Hawksmoor Air St for Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed. Food was excellent - we had prime ribs and chateaubriand plus the trimmings. Service was good as always. Highly recommended

Definitely splashed out and Hawksmoor definitely delivered. Everything chosen was of exceptional quality. It was a very busy lunch service but everything delivered promptly, sexy looking and incredibly tasty. Don't have anything to add except - go here at least once when you're in London!

I had better experiences before and at a different store. We were a party of 4. Two of us felt that the quality of the meat was sub-standard. Disappointing as we always made it a point to visit when we gather.

I loved Hawksmoor Seven Dials on a pre-pandemic visit, but this location was a big letdown. The dining room is huge and very loud. The service was pleasant but uneven- starters came in a reasonable time, but entrees took forever. Steaks were fine, but nothing special. I wouldn’t eat here again.

The overall experience was poor, the bread arrived (£4.00) which was just 2 slices of mediocre brown bread with butter that appeared to have just come out of the fridge and couldn't be spread. The mains (both filet steak) came and even though we had ordered them to be cooked differently, the outside on both was well done. Overall for the cost (over £100) we were disappointed.

First time eating at Hawksmoor and we will 100% be back again. Yes it’s expensive but I don’t mind spending money when the food & service was first class. We had the Chateaubriand for 2 cooked to perfection, seasoned very well. The creamed spinach was outstanding and I’m definitely going to try and perfect that at home. Dessert we each had sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate tart. They were again first class and just as good as the mains. It was our anniversary and they made us feel very welcome and even decorated our plates in the richest chocolate I think I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work.

Amazing venue, staff were all very welcoming, a special mention to Cos, he was charming and witty and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure.

Lovely return to Air Street. Staff attentive and food fabulous. We had an early table for the pre theatre menu. Highlights - all of it. If I was to pick out - as I am a non dairy/egg person was the passion fruit sorbet as desserts are often off the menu.

Simply delicious food and cocktails… and the service was simply beyond amazing and perfect. Awesome! We’re going back again in a couple of weeks. Enough said? Woof!!!

Really lovely atmosphere, food delicious and friendly service

Great place in the centre of London for a steak and cocktail! We skipped starters and went straight for chateaubriand cut meat. The chips are heavenly and perfect match to the meat. Cocktails are very curated and you can find the most traditional plus some with a twist. Friday night will get a little noisy in the main area but it adds to the ambiance.

I have rated it 1 on this visit as the restaurant management seem to be slacking and standing on the side lines. I invited an esteemed guest to experience the great food here. He was coldly welcomed and then further dismissed with a response, saying the booking for the evening could not be found. Did not allow him to have drinks at the bar either. When I later arrived and went upstairs with my guest for the dinner booking my booking was suddenly available. The wait staff all seemed distracted on this visit, dropping plates and cutlery rushing around while management stood by as if they are guests at an event. Dinner was amazing 👏 😋 as I love Hawkmoor. We requested to speak with the chef to ensure he was aware that the steaks and his cooking skills and knowledge were appreciated and acknowledged ❤️ We were then asked if the bill could be paid !!!!! What the actual **** 😳 I have never had someone rush to present the bill. Awful customer service in a place which is normally so refined. May I also ask what is the purpose of all the floor manager's standing around ? While the remainder staff are struggling? This is not leadership. As long as the chef's are there the food is amazing however senior management in HO NEED to address the management in-house as they are not representing the Hawksmoore brand in the best way possible. Hospitality is about the food and the service 😋 On leaving we were told they cannot call any taxi firms. The management at the restaurant doesn't like it 😳 really confused with this visit . Thankyou

I’m a big Hawksmoor fan, and have visited this branch several times before. My most recent visit (showed up solo) was most disappointing. The steak was overcooked, service was slow and the apology for not relaying correct instructions to the chef was half-hearted and without sincerity. I did not expect the standards to drop so low. Reluctant to return to this branch again.

As always with Hawksmoor, not just consistently excellent steaks but an all round top menu topped off with great staff… you just can’t beat it. Make sure you save room for some dessert it’s worth it.

Food was good. We were on a tight timescale, on arrival we made the staff aware. Our service was amazing quick, but not hurried and very friendly! Definitely A star!!

Wonderful waitress Marie who was swift, efficient kind & helpful. Gave great guidance & was remarkably patient with one guest who kept changing decisions. Caesar salads exceptional, ditto filet steak. Ribeye rather disappointing- v little fat & cooked medium rather than medium rare. We were a “mature” group & we found the noise level so high that we had difficulty hearing each other but we had fun!

I would describe it as a turbulent London steakhouse. Good food at reasonable prices, but with an atmosphere like a friendly pub. You should speak very loudly so that the other person notices you. Would only come back when my hearing fades 😬

Food, drinks and service all very good. Entrance is very dark and anyone with visual impairment will struggle in entrance area. Aside from that very comfortable and enjoyable couple meal.

Came all the way from the north of England for my mother in law 60th we were booked in for 9.15pm we arrived a hour early for drinks but didn’t get seated until 9.40 pm and then after we ordered told they had sold out of the mixed grills which 2 of our party wanted we ended up going else where very disappointed and let down Seems like we was completely forgotten about

Came specially on a Saturday for their full English breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Every component was delicious and well executed. We ordered the portion for 1 and added a salad, which was enough for 2 to share. The 2 pax portion has a bacon chop instead of a bacon. One of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had

Steak was very nice - we had chateaubriand and fillet steak. Sides are small and annoyingly expensive. Wine is well over-priced. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy. Service was friendly but slow. The place is so noisy that everyone has to increase volume to make themselves heard, so it becomes even noisier.

Such a great restaurant, staff are amazing. Food is delicious and the vibe in the restaurant is buzzing.

The location was amazing with Art Deco fixtures and windows looking over Regent Street (great for people watching). It was packed, therefore quite noisy (it's a shame that they couldn't have installed some booths for a bit of privacy within the layout). The service was good, although our waiter didn't always understand what we asked and he also got the wrong order for a table next to us, but was very friendly. The food and cocktails were amazing as always. A wonderful Sunday Roast experience.

Superb for Sunday lunch. Excellent food and services. A vibrant venue and reasonably priced Sunday lunch. One of the best I have had. Staff are great. Visited many times and will do so again. Highly recommend.

Very very upset that we were there to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and the waiter brought the desert over whilst my wife (his mother) was in the bathroom. She was so upset when she came back and we had sung happy birthday. I couldn’t stop the waiter and my son had already notice the candles. This shows the waiting staff were not taking care of consideration for the customers they are attending to. My wife complained and their apology was a little bit belittling of the importance of the situation - they said the handover suggested there were two people at the table but the table table would have told you otherwise. A mother wants to book a meal, put a special request in and sing happy birthday when possible. If this doesn’t happen because of a mistake by the staff, then the staff need to be more apologetic. Not only that, I order an espresso martini that never arrived and another table were waiting for drinks for so long that they helped themselves to OUR bottle of wine (this was rectified but demonstrates the lack of initial service).

I’ve been to Hawksmoor before and although the food is still good I wasn’t blown away by the size and quality of the steak considering the price point. I get that the restaurant has a casual vibe but I thought the service was a little too casual considering the price point. It’s impossible to know who the waiters are because they are just in jeans and T-shirt. Overall it was decent but feels like it’s getting a bit too casual

Food quite good, service really bad. Was around 40 minutes after being seated that we were even asked for a drinks order, and a little while after that before drinks came. Food arrived around 40-45 mins after ordering (we were warned about this), but order was incomplete and staff had to be chased to find. No one came back to ask about further drinks orders, and again hard to catch anyone’s eye. Service did improve a bit as the night went on, but I think this hawkesmoor branch is too big and too busy.

Good steaks - skip starters and good straight to the meat!

Amazing food but service could be better, considering there are so many members of staff there. Our food took a long time to arrive, although we appreciate was busy it was a very long time to wait. Once we paid the bill the waitress told us that we were free to use the bar to finish our drinks, obviously wanting the table available for the next customers.

I got the most overly salt brined/ seasoned and terribly cooked steak of my life here. It was stringy and VERY dry. I guess the Sunday roast is great, but my experience with the steak was so horrible that I would not return here to try it next time I'm in London. My partner ordered a steak as well and said it was also overly seasoned and cooked poorly. This place is also very loud and could really use some acoustical wall or ceiling panels to help dampen the loud sound that carries from everyone's conversations. For people who are vegetarians or have celiac or are gluten free there are no good options here.

Always excellent food at Hawksmoor. No exception here. What wecreally appreciatedcwas the service. Friendly, efficient and timely. Great experience.

Delicious food in a charged environment. I love coming here. It's got a great vibe - full of energy. But noisy and you have to speak up to be heard but aside from that the food is great and service is good too. Come here for a fun night out with friends rather than a serious business meeting.

Our service was very poor yesterday from forgetting two of our things to constantly checking and interrupting us - overall not great. The host on the other hand was very understanding and accommodating.

The service and food was exceptional thank you so much. We will return
