The best hake and chips I've ever had the jumbo fish finger and the fish cake was to die for

Wow Fish and chips are amazing so fresh and the batter is gorgeous. My boy's loved there quarter pounder and cheese and battered sausages Staff are extremely friendly and very reasonable prices. Would recommend all day long. Thank you for such a wonderful take away.

Was recommended to come here by my son but saw a few (only a few) bad reviews. I am now wondering if some of the reviews are from people who have not visited. The food was excellent and we had Chips and Haddock and I went for a battered sausage too. The portion was huge, a very large fish and too many chips. The service was excellent from the 2 young girls serving and taking orders. They warned us of a delay as it was all cooked fresh but we were not in a rush and they again advised it wouldn't be long. The wait was less than 10 minutes for all freshly prepared food. No complaints here. What also impressed us was that couple of senior citizens came in and were obviously regulars as the young ladies confirmed "are you having your usual" which on both occasions was confirmed and the orders prepared and brought out for them. Always a good sign when locals clearly love the place too. Would highly recommend to anybody who fancies freshly cooked fish and chips while in the area

I come here so often I am not joking when I say that Haven Fish Cafe is the best chip shop in the world.... the bbq rib.... the battered sausage.... The Rissole......... incredible.

Huge freshly cooked cod, proper homemade chips and very friendly staff. Fantastic food and service.

Second visit as like to give benefit of the doubt as first time chips were pretty grim rest was okay and yes second vist just as bad they cannot cook chips!! Brown dry rewarmed or cooked in dirty oil no wonder its up for sale not even the seagulls wanted them

Fantastic chippie. Staff are super friendly, I suffer severe anxiety and they were very patient with me. Food was delicious particularly the homemade rissole

Top quality fish and chips. Chips were well nigh perfect. Their home made rissole is the best I've had. I'd drive a few miles out of my way to return.

OK but chilly ordering and waiting in doorway whilst order was cooked

Something wasn't right with this visit, and it's a shame as the other times before the lockdown I have had food from here were great. The cod bites were flat and seemed that they were on the turn 2/4 of them anyway we're slimy and a very nauseating taste. Not sure if I will be eating here again for a while.

Arrived at 19:50, over half an hour before the shops advertised closure time of 20:30, to be met by surly staff who were obviously annoyed that customers may want to be served. Tried to order various items to be met with either "We don't any left" or "I'll check". Finally found things that we could purchase. Food arrived and they promptly shut the doors and closed. Food was fine, but I suggest that you turn up as they open for a choice and perhaps, cheerful service.

During the lockdown the order is delivered to the car. A short drive home to find the chips were overcooked, the fish batter soggy, all lukewarm, and the peas were missing.

Delicious chips. Loved the spicy curry sauce. Enjoyed the festive specials including the giant pigs in blankets. Very friendly service.

Having used the Haven Cafe weekly since moving here they are consistent not greasy and the best fish and chips within at least a 5 mile radius that I have found to date. Top mention is the Homemade fish cakes / rissoles , It is our go to fish bar in Milford Haven.

Went in 2 nights ago, based on reviews on here. We were impressed, a proper local chippy. The fish was good and the chips were very fresh. Staff lovely. Only criticism; curry sauce (its a Northern thing, with fish n chips), was a bit of a letdown. Overall defo 5 stars. Nice one.

I ordered the usuall cod, chips and mushy peas to eat in. It arrived in quick time and was very tasty being freshly cooked. We travelled a few miles over from Neyland as it's the best Chippy in the local area, its well worth the trip! Very good value.

Just had chips and sausages from there and it took me 15 minutes to walk home and when i unwrapped them they were still fresh and not greasy and no sign of grease on the paper unlike another chippy in milford when you unwrap there's the chips are all mush so i would recommend the haven fish cafe so get down there for a descent meal that you can enjoy

This is a really good quality local chippy using local produce and has a rolls Royce of a fryer. Chips were so good I asked if they used goose fat to get the cripyness on the fish and chips but it was just the quality of the new fryer. Homemade fishcakes are really tasty and lovely gravy and curry. Quality established place.
