Tried to pay for me a 5 star review

Went to Haunt a couple times during a recent visit to Manchester, and absolutely loved it. The staff are so lovely, and they make the best coffee I have ever had anywhere. Will definitely go back next time I am in Manchester.

I just walked in for brunch the food was lovely and the service was 2nd to none. Sorry I didn't take any photos but it was a fantastic experience.

Hands down one of my favourite spots in the city. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is so inviting stylish yet cosy, with just the right amount of buzz. The coffee is absolutely top-tier smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. You can tell the baristas know their stuff, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Their pastries and small plates are equally impressive thoughtfully curated, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. Whether I’m grabbing a quick flat white or settling in with a book for the afternoon, it always feels like time well spent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great coffee, a lovely vibe, and a touch of Manchester charm.

Absolutely love this place! The decor and ambience are spot on. Stylish, cosy, and welcoming. It’s a brilliant spot for working remotely, with a relaxed vibe and plenty of space if you're working solo. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. Great selection of food and drinks too – whether you’re after a good coffee, a bite to eat, or something stronger later in the day. One of my favourite spots in Manchester!

One of my favourite spots in Manchester, never too busy but still got a good atmosphere. I actually hired this place out for a party a year ago and it was a great evening and all the staff were very friendly. Would recommend!

Definitely a place set up for the workers (which is fine). Stylish decor and a nice selection of craft beers. Coffee was 7.5/10, a little on the cold side but still nice and care taken with art and crema. £3.80 for the flat white, which seems about normal (Ditto and Font down the road is £3.80 and £4 respectively).

Came here for the tiramisu french toast and it didn't disappoint! I thought it might be sickly with the chocolate sauce but it was surprisingly fresh and really tasty!!

Really great coffee and fab food. Not too expensive either. The room was quite noisy though.

overpriced, incredibly rude staff, one in particular with bright hair clearly mistakenly thinks she's better than everyone else, the attitude she gave was unreal. Food was ok but coffee was cold, art wasnt even good enough to justify allowing my coffee to cool down while doing it. Starbucks is right across the road, go there instead.

Hands down the coffee is up there with the best ones I've ever tasted across the world. The toasted cheese sandwich with fig jam filled me up all day too, but its definitely the coffee that made me leave this review ! Mwah, chefs kiss .

Lovely staff and atmosphere was cool! I ordered a mocha and the Turkish eggs. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the Turkish eggs and I was a little underwhelmed by the mushroom toast that my friend ordered aswell.

Came in to an empty cafe and was told by a super rude staff we cannot get a table.

I like to go Haunt once a week to do my work before it gets busy :) the atmosphere is chill, coffee on the acidic note, refreshing cocktails.

A trendy restaurant/ cafe serving brunch,lunch, and drinks. It was very busy and is obviously well supported. On entering, you grab a menu, find your own seat and then place your order at the bar. Your food and drinks are then served to your table. So the service is a bit minimal, but I had no complaints and, nonetheless, rated them 4 stars. The food is different and tasty. I enjoyed my visit and would go back.

Love visiting Haunt! The atmosphere is always so great, and it's the perfect place to host our book club.

Beautiful Latte art sadly served on top a very cold Latte. Thought it might have just taken that long to do the art that the drink I'd actually asked and paid for just went cold, until we noticed our pot of tea was served clock cold too. Seriously how difficult is it to put boiling water in a tea pot 🤦‍♀️

My number one go to spot for a coffee or brunch with friends. Great place to work from or read from or just watch the world go by. Love love love.

Went for a few drinks, the cocktails were delish and the staff were really polite and friendly.

Food was mediocre and overpriced, seemingly gone for aesthetic rather than taste and good quality ingredients. However service was very rude, the counter staff were lovely however we got rushed out by the wait staff/shift manager and asked to leave as a table were waiting. We had a big brunch for a special birthday occasion which was evidenced by the cards on the table, which was ruined by the rudeness of staff. This was whilst 10-15 people were sat around on laptops, taking up tables working for the day. Would not come back, there are so many more amazing brunch places in Manchester that deserve the attention and customers more.

I absolutely love it !!! Really good vibe, staff are amazing, food and drink outstanding. I work from Haunt one or two mornings/ afternoons a week and pop in for a glass of wine in the evening sometimes - top gaff 5⭐️

Took my girlfriend and her family here for a birthday breakfast Lovely staff very warm and friendly to walk into. Plenty of choice on the menu for everyone, no shortage of options. Was very surprised at the prices of a mimosa tho my girlfriend and her mother had 2 each with ended up racking up to £38 alone. Other than the mimosas everything is reasonably priced and good value for money. Plenty of spaced out seating unlike a lot of local restraunts

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was really well made and tasty (veggie). Loved the ambience and the lighting.

We came here today for brunch for the first time after spending weeks building excitement looking at their instagram page. We went in expecting a traditional brunch/ coffee house experience but we left slightly disappointed. From the get go both my husband and I found it odd that you had to not only take your own menu but find your own seat. We weren’t greeted or acknowledged at the door short of a nod from one of the staff members. We found an empty table that was still unclean from the previous customers. This wouldn’t have been an issue if it was addressed quickly but we had to wait 15 minutes before someone came to clean. We ordered our food at the bar which was then followed by a half an hour wait for it to arrive. Frankly, we were not sure why the order took so long. No one checked in on us at the time and we were one of the only two tables ordering food, everyone else seemed to be there for coffee. When the food did arrive we could immediately tell it had been sitting out for a while. It was cold, the fries were wilted and the bread was soggy. We were disappointed as we could tell that it would have been delicious if it had been served at the right temperature. Overall, while the atmosphere and the food quality were both very good, the service massively let everything down. I’ve never been in a restaurant where I had to take charge of pretty much my whole experience. For the price I do believe there are much better brunch places in Manchester and I may be willing to give it another chance but not any time soon. If I was you I’d give this one a skip.

Me alegro de haber encontrado Haunt mientras buscaba un lugar para el almuerzo. Corre eficientemente. Coge un menú y encuentra un asiento que era fácil de hacer - vimos una mesa arriba con vistas al restaurante. Tuve aplastamientos avo con huevos y masa madre - perfecto, junto con martini expreso. No dudaría en volver.

Fabuloso lugar, tuvimos la celebración de cumpleaños número 30 de Hijas aquí. Seccionaron un área para que nos reuniéramos y saliéramos de fiesta. El personal estaba disponible para cualquier consulta que surgiera e incluso el guardia de seguridad se unió.

Lovely breakfast. Didn't need any beer but did notice that there was a Deya beer and a Verdant beer on keg which I was very impressed with.

Un lugar de aspecto encantador pero un menú de desayuno bastante limitado. Le hicieron a mi esposo unos huevos y tostadas que no estaban allí. Los pasteles estaban bastante rancios. Bonito ambiente y decoración a través, y el personal servicial.

I just had a coffee there with a friend and it was a nice experience. The staff was really nice, the place looks so cosy and the coffee was great. I recommend!

I was looking for somewhere to have a coffee and sit and read for a while. The trouble is that most coffee places in Manchester (and other British cities) are not open in the evening, so I googled for suggestions, and someone on Reddit recommended this place, which I have passed many times (although could never work out what the sign said!) but had never been in. Turned out to be a good recommendation, and I spent a very pleasant couple of hours here (joined partway through by a friend). Good coffee, great cocktails - we were not there to eat so I can't judge the food properly, but I did have a flapjack which was very filling. The reason for only 4 stars for food is that I would've liked a slightly wider selection of cakes, but maybe they have more at different times. Anyway, it's a lovely place, and I will definitely be returning. (Oh, and I liked the background music! Laid-back and varied, but including lots of songs I knew all the words to!)

Came for a quick bite to eat. Service was quick despite it being relatively busy. Nice atmosphere and upstairs seating. Chap who served us was very patient with my questions about the French toast, due to dietary requirements I needed to ensure it was halal. He suggested the jelly part of the trifle French Toast is removed. The French toast is a special on the menu and changes. You order at the till and pay before seating.

Cosy atmospheric place, responsibly priced, good service, clean. Would definitely recommend as a place to drop in whilst in the city.

I really enjoyed the food . I wanted to try the French toast but i wasn’t interested in the flavour. I really like the inside really nicely decorated. The service was great friendly staff and plenty of space to sit down . I really wish they had more flavours of the French toast so I can try it another time.

Drank this way too quickly to take a nice picture, but their new iced teas are amazing! So refreshing, not super sweet. Perfect for summer but also just any day. Will definitely be ordering this again!

Delicious salted caramel brownie and peach iced tea. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attractive. Gina was great with recommendations for both in and out of venue. Hayden delivered the iced tea to my table with unparalleled skill and charm. Ines exuded customer service and passion for the venue. Can’t wait to return with my family and friends.

En general diría que este es un lugar agradable, comida encantadora, pero la actitud del personal y el ambiente ha sido pobre cada vez que he estado aquí, miradas sucias, comportamiento agresivo pasivo como si odiaran a sus clientes. Entiendo que el servicio al cliente es difícil, especialmente en entornos urbanos, es largo, molesto y los clientes pueden y de hecho te maltratan, pero siento que parece que mucho personal tiene resentimiento hacia todos estos clientes y al hacerlo les proporciona una experiencia desagradable, esta también es una experiencia compartida con mis amigos y familiares al venir aquí en ocasiones separadas. Aconsejo al gerente o a cualquier persona de autoridad sobre el personal que reflexione sobre la ética de trabajo y los modales de su personal. Recibí un servicio deficiente, charlando mientras esperaba para ordenar, comentarios agresivos pasivos, etc. Supongo que también estuvo presente un gerente de turno que también compartió este comportamiento. Realmente decepcionado, ya que este fue un día para llevar a mi mamá y papá a almorzar mientras un miembro de la familia pasaba, y su comportamiento nos hizo sentir tan inoportunos que decidimos irnos.

The wait for food was a bit long, however the waiter picked this up without us having to tell him and we got free coffee, excellent customer service, and the food was great.
