Nice Food served by friendly staff 👍

Absolutely waste of money, we got two small cakes £4.75 each, the carrot cake was stale, didn’t even eat it. Waited ages to get served even though there was two people in the queue, the young girl started putting away dishes and made us wait 10 minutes. Will not be visiting again.

Went for an anniversary meal and had fish, chips and peas, wife had Jacket potato and son had Feta cheese salad, service from staff 100% polite the cafe lovely atmosphere. Food pipping hot, fresh and well presented, lovely meal but not cheap but great for special occasions and certainly be going again service 100%, food 9 out of 10 overall 99.9% certainly made our day special.

Hatties is really good value for your money. The surroundings are a bit like a motorway service but the food is much better! Let's hope that the new owners don't spoil it. A FEW MONTHS LATER. The new owners did spoil it. Menu reduced in variety and the once brilliant chips are now very run of the mill.

Had fish and chips there today, the standard has gone down since being bought out. such a shame, changed menu, frozen chips, no atmosphere, enhanced prices. Specials board says Sunday roast and nothing else, that’s not a specials board!

This is what passes for chips when you pay £10.95 for a small Fish and Chips. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Waste of money. Paid £15 for a Christmas dinner meal, the food was very poor quality, served just about warm on a cold plate. Vegetables were mushy and rubbery, served with a very small amount of gravy, meat was dry and chewy - jaw still hurts from chewing. Strongly feel the food was sat out for a while or just low quality. Not what I would expect for the price, really disappointed. Raised this with staff but were told we could not be refunded as “was all fresh” hard to believe, felt Sub-school-dinner. Bathrooms were dirty and not cleaned, smelt awful. Would expect this in a pub, not here. Also ordered a vegetarian dish of ‘chunky veg stew with mash’ which was really a tasteless slop, made up of a sweet and watery tomato medley with peppers and dry and miserable mash and that was £13! This was refunded however. Please do better, we used to come before the new ownership and it’s such a shame. Won’t be returning for a while. Coffee was fine. Chips were raw in the middle also! Good selection of sauce sachets! No napkins available either! From what we could tell the waiting staff all did a good job and were friendly. Tables were clean. Also, a chef served the food to our table so perhaps some staffing issues also. Bye for now.

Please do not go and eat here, we went at the weekend and the food was poor quality and we are both Ill with food poisoning, The environment is hectic and the chef that brought the chips to the table literally through them on the table and walked away 2 X panini's, 2 X coffees, 2 X cokes and chips came to £42, so prepare to sacrifice your bank balance if you ignore this review SHOCKING So many more nicer places to eat these days than here!

Located in the back of Bingley Garden Centre - beautiful fresh food and very friendly staff! The cafe is clean and bright in a conservatory. The staff are so helpful and talkative - really an asset to the garden centre and I can see why it was so busy! We will definitely be back, the quiche was to die for! Also - would definitely recommend the cakes.

Since new owners took over we used to go regularly but not now. Prices are expensive,they charge differently if asking tea for two or tea for one, was told by management larger pot of water!! There seems to be no compromise on changing things, sticking ridged to the menu not allowing for people who can't eat certain things that accompany a set meal. So so sad to see this once wonderful cafe go down hill, feel so sorry for the staff who are lovely.

Visited last weekend for breakfast on a Saturday morning. First time visiting since it has been taken over. Husband asked for 3 sausage sandwiches & drinks on the £5 breakfast deal and was told we couldn’t have just sausage, it had to be sausage, bacon and egg for the £5 deal. Asked if they could just do it as a sausage sandwich as our parents had managed to order a bacon sandwich on the £5 deal 10 minutes before us and were told “No, just take out the items you don’t like!” Absolute waste of food and money and especially when people are struggling to pay for food in this day and age! So we ended up ordering 2 sandwiches with everything in & drinks £5 (having to take the extra bits out) and then having to pay full price £4.95 for a sausage sandwich and £2.70 for a small coffee. The sausage sandwich only had 2 small sausages in a small bap with no butter! Breakfast sandwich came with 1 small sausage, 1 small bit of bacon and 1 egg & NO butter! A very disappointing and dry sandwich to say the least. Hattie’s used to be a great cafe, but looks like it’s massively gone down hill!

Since the take over by tong garden centre the menu has changed. Not the best idea tbh not the same quality and prices higher and portions smaller. A very good way to loose customers. Please put the old menu back. You've made a very good place average to say the least. Word seems to be spreading. The staff are amazing but the new ideas are rubbish.

I am really upset after visiting this week. The menu has changed due to being taken over and is now extortionate prices. Used to love it here. The people are still lovely who work in it.

Visited the cafe yesterday.. wow this place is more expensive than fine dining! The food is below average at best, left most of our lunch and portions tiny. It's definitely crossed of my list of places to go.

Veggie breakfast was very small compared to the meat breakfast but was still very nice hope the cafe stays when there taken over by tong garden centre

Lovely cafe, shame about the food. Nice bacon sandwich if you like lots of white fat, swimming in greece and not to mention the black bits. Shocking.

Harries restaurant / cafe is based in the middle of Stephen Smith’s Garden Centre , The restaurant is bright and airy and very clean , The food was reasonably priced very tasty and piping hot and the staff were friendly and very helpful , we can recommend Hatties for a Full breakfast ,lunchtime meal or A coffee and a piece of cake , restaurant is also dog friendly .

Still exceptional food by the chefs. Service is also excellent. Pity the prices are creeping up.

If you're going to wear a face mask when serving food, covering just your chin is kinda pointless. If you're gonna number your tables, why run around shouting what the food is. If you're stopping breakfast at 11:30 how come you can still buy bacon, egg, sausages in sandwiches or beans on toast? Isn't that just breakfast in a bun?

Nice surroundings. Plenty of room. Usually only have brekkie but very good value for money. Scones good too but need to make sure they are always fresh. Unhappy with large dogs sat around with so much food.

A great place to visit. The food is good and varied and the staff friendly. It is nice and airy and tables well spaced. Would recommend a visit.

Staff are not so welcoming and are unpleasant, the people that dine the are generally older and extremely unfriendly, they tend to stare right in to your soul so not welcoming or pleasant at all either, so don't waste your time & energy going there!!

Popped in today, it was very busy, we had just missed breakfast, 11:30. So glad we did.... I had the fish cakes and they were delicious. Husband had the gammon and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Need in the Garden centre, this is both your Average cafe in a GC. Food feels homemade and was delicious because of it. The vegetarian Wellington was different and filling but beaten by the Goats Cheese for veggie option. The roast dinner was good but by 1.30 the Yorkshire Pudding was dry and tough. Quite pricey but maybe not for this type of venue at about £8 for a main. The service was terrific very helpful quick and everything with a smile.

Where to start? I never leave reviews but every last part of today's experience was a train wreck. Paying full price for a breakfast to be told 2 ingredients are missing then the meal coming in bits. I had to remind staff twice what goes on a basic breakfast (listed on the menu) over the 40 minutes I had to wait for it to eventually pull together across 4 (literally 4) different plates! Seriously guys take a week off and have a serious look at how this place is run.
