Please please consider you price range/quality. I got a chicken curry, there wasn't a katsu curry option, and if there was the worker dissuaded me. I asked for a spoon once they said 20p !

Before, it was my favorite place to eat amazing, flavorful food. Today, I was disappointed; we ordered a salmon bowl and Philadelphia sushi, and both were tasteless and slightly sour. This was the third time in the last month that the food tasted like that. I will never go back there.

Tried for the first time a few days ago. The selection was great and the sashimi was delicious but there was a piece of styrofoam on my sushi and the wasabi was expired 2 months ago?..

I was a regular before always getting a Japanese Chicken Curry but now it tastes so disgusting! I'm not even going to mention the high price and no veg but the chicken it seems has been changed and it's just not worth it no more. Can't believe you'd do that honestly bad choice and will never be eating from here again!!

Such a great and affordable place to go for lunch in Bradford. I got the small rice bowl for only £5.99 and it was more than enough. Service is really quick as well so it really is ideal for the lunch rush. They use such good quality Japanese rice!! the teriyaki chicken was not very authentic but still really good though. It was saucy and juicy, and they top it off with fried shallots and green onions (my absolutely fave). I know the second picture doesn't look very appetising but damn it really was so flavourful and tasty. I tried the katsu chicken and chicken karage bowl later on in the week as well and thought katsu curry was averagely good. Would go for the teriyaki chicken still (or the karage chicken rice bowl).

Wow. Ordered upon noodles with their roast duck. Got a cup filled up with hot water, noodles down the bottom with 3 pieces of fat-hairy skin on boiled duck on top. For that you get a wooden fork. It's like jig saw when you get it, and try to think what to actually do with it??? How is this even called a dish ?

Been going to this spot since it opened,food is AMAZING,super fresh,Teriyaki Beef is the best "bought" one I've EVER had,staff nice & helpful (I have a food allergy & they customize things so I can have them safely.............price is also really quite good too KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK PEOPLE!!!!

Hugely dissatisfied I'm. A loyal customer. The prices increased fair enough by £1 but to give no veg with the order is not acceptable. Veg has been missed as it comes with veg. Find this cheeky. Got home no veg on the chicken curry.

WOW! This place has become a personal favourite of mine in the last few months. The staff are lovely and attentive every visit and the food is delicious. If you visit the chicken curry is gorgeous and is filled with lots of veggies and the chicken is so tender 😍 Portions could be bigger don’t mind paying extra but it is a fab place for a quick lunch stop edit- unfortunately the curry has changed to thigh meat and there is no potatoes or carrot anymore which is sad, before everything was so tender and delicious, now it is just quick lazy food! Please change back Lotus everything was so nice before 😰

We've been ordering from lotus for years, however, recently the quality of the food has gone bad. Some foods weren't cooked properly while overs were over solted. We once ordered cans we were given chicken that was old. It used to be good, but now it turned bad.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Lotus since Broadway has been open. Myself and my daughters have always had the Japanese curry (chicken one) It’s upsetting to say we WON’T be going back no longer. I understand the price has gone up and that isn’t the problem, problem is that they have opt for chicken thigh in their Japanese curry instead of chicken breast and there’s no vegetable. It tasted awful as it tasted like the chicken wasn’t cooked in the sauce and was chucked in. We ordered 3 and all 3 went to waste. Not impressed at all.. for £5.79 I expect quality not low standard.

Visited the Bradford store and had the Beef Teriyaki one day and few days later, I had the Salmon Teriyaki. Both visits, the staff were on point and the food were amazing. Definitely recommend trying the food here and the other cuisines on offer. Great experience

I used to be a HUGE fan of this place,everytime I was in Broadway the Little Lotus was my first to go to place if I was hungry! But the last time it got me disappointed greatly,in my Salmon avocado poke bowl I discovered a bloody SLUG in wakame. I wish I would of made a picture of it but I was that disgusted that I just throw it all away. Never buying from this place ever again!

Situated in the food Court in broadway, so always full of groups of kids and incredibly loud and noisy. They now charge for sauce which they didn't used to and can be quite abrupt about it but the food is lovely

Me and my sister have been a loyal customer at this place since before it opened. I used to get a large japanese curry for less than a fiver. I know prices have gone up but I went in and paid £5.79 and got the smallest tub I have ever seen. I refunded and didnt take the food. I Loved the food but I am not gonna eat from there anymore. That's extortionate to charge almost 6 quid for a flat small tub. After response. The large tub was more than 750ml just a few months ago

I buy food from here quite often and I'm almost always disappointed, but I still hope and will buy again . I buy there Japanese curry with rice, they serve 80% rice and 20% curry without vegetables, I like carrots and potatoes, but it's never there, it always makes me angry. I told them several times to load 50% rice and 50% curry , but always I have a lot of rice left , it's embarrassing for me to go there and ask them for a little add curry sauce. Today, I got a bucket of raw rice, potatoes and carrots were not there, it all went into the trash. The new bowls are smaller . The price went up but the quality went down. I lost the desire to give them another chance.

Good place,clean & sushi is best in Bradford

I've been eating here a while but just recently, the quality of the chicken has left me feeling quite sick after eating it. I normally get the Chicken Teriyaki or Salmon bowl but the chicken is really poor quality now, grissly and tastes like grease.

Curry is not good. 90% rice, hardly any veg and the sauce seemed old and was just heated in microwave. Sushi might be OK but avoid the curry unless they improve it.

It was a great brunch for me. I had spicy chicken ramen and California sushi roll and it cost less than 10 pounds! It is in the Broadway shopping mall, in front of the food court. Another price-worthy eatery. Oh the wasabi and sauce is chargeable to prevent wastages.

My favourite place for fresh sushi

1* for 1* food hygiene whilst working with raw fish. Avoid if you want to avoid digestion issues. Also, recently started charging extra for soy sauce, ginger etc. not mentioning that while ordering! On some days don't let use 2for1 deal for hot food, while it is fine on other days.

A regular customer of Yo Sushi I was a little sceptical however drawn towards visiting Lotus Sushi + Bento at Broadway Bradford due to positive reviews left by others.The customer service was really on point and the young lady serving us was very well versed in the menu offering. The majority of their menu is suitable for those with Halal dietary requirements. We purchased the Chicken Ramen, Beef Teriyaki and some Nigri. The Chicken Ramen was not to our personal taste buds (this is nothing to do with Lotus, just personal taste), the Beef Teriyaki was amazing. Certainly tickled our taste buds. The Nigri was really on point also. All in all a fantastic first visit, great customer service, delicious food and so affordable. If there was one slight criticism it would be that although the portion sizes are very generous, there wasnt a lot of beef in the teriyaki but it was no biggie as the food was devouring. ------- An update to my previous review and sadly I must say there is a stark difference in quality of food and service in the last 3 visits I have made. Amongst these 3 visits the first two were bad as a result of lack of common food available to purchase and lack of effort in trying to resolve the issue. On both occasion there was no salmon nigri available which is fine and understandable if it is at closing minutes however 2 and a half hours before closing to be out of a common item on your menu is baffling, whats worst is the simple ingredients to construct the item is available and acknowledged by staff however they are not "trained" to put it together, again very baffling. On the last of these visits I had a similar issue however managed to get one tray of nigri however a second could not be prepared thus had to opt with tray containing tuna. The tuna was revolting. Whilst I have in the past emphasised how fresh the food is, by no means was that tuna fresh with its dry rubbery texture. In the past one of the highlights of visiting Lotus is the keenness the staff would show in preparing food for you if its not ready made. They would often prepare items and even alter them to your liking however it seems no one really cares anymore, well not on the last three visits. Lotus need to resort back to older winning ways, they certainly do have the ability to produce great food but I think the service has drastically dipped.

Friendly people in there. The curry sauce is really nice, just the right taste. I really love the Inari pockets.

Little lotus has become my NEW FAVOURITE place to go for pre work lunch in Bradford, finding good quality yet adequately priced sushi is so hard and yet this little business delivers.. the portion sizes are more than generous and everything is made fresh to order if not available on the side! They also appear to do fresh ramen pots which I have yet to try but they will be going on my to do list, all in all if you really like Japanese food and want some too quality sushi I would HIGHLY recommend you to give this place a go!

The sushi is just so good, i would eat there everyday if u could. i love the spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce combo (pls never change this) amazing quality & flavour, i wish there where larger sets for the chicken sushi rolls. If you’ve never had sushi before i would recommend you start eating chicken sushi, then move up to more advanced ones (salmon, caviar etc..) Also don’t go get sushi from here and rate them poorly if you’re not a sushi eater and if it’s your first time. the first time eating sushi is always iffy, it’s like trial and error, explore your pallet. Best Japanese takeaway in all of Bradford loved the service and the food is amazing! Food is fresh and made directly in front of your very eyes. Price is fair for portion, in my opinion Definitely my no1 place to eat out :) Teriyaki is great, my favourite has to be the vegan japanese curry and the sushi

MY REVIEW IS BASED ON THE HOT POT FOOD IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT NOT A SUSHI AS IM NOT A SUSHI FAN First of all its Halal. Second of all the Curry Udon You cant beat, lovely amout of spice, veg and chicken, its got the right amount of kick to it, it hits the spot at any tym of the year. The teriyaki and the salmon are pretty decent aswell. Recently tried this soup/chicken, cant remember whats its called but DAMN, that had definitely hit the spot twice as much as the udon Great food, great service as always 👍

You can a decent sushi from there, one box cost between 4.5 pounds to 5.5 pounds, Japanese curry is Fantastic, other curries are acceptable as well.

Best sushi in Bradford with a lovely staff

Let's face it, most sushi places require you to spend a fair bit for what you get. Sushi in the UK is definitely a luxury. Yo Sushi! In Leeds you're looking at £10+ for a filling meal. Lotus Sushi and Bento provide top quality sushi, fresh and prepared hygenically. It's quite marvelous what they're able to achieve in their humble store in Broadway but the food is quality. I've tried an assortment of their sushi and I enjoy all of it. Even the peri chicken they've done has been lovely. It's also very reasonably priced especially for sushi. If you're looking for something hot, their Udon noodle soup is very filling and hearty. Great for a cold winters day. To top it all off the staff are pleasant, will always adorn a smile and Lotus accept credit & debit. So glad to have a location in Bradford eat sushi.

I work locally and sometimes head here for my lunch. Lotus is by far the best joint in the broadway. Food smells and tastes fresh and delicious. You can have a specific meal, like a Chicken Katsu, or choose from a build-your-own style menu. On top of this there's a range of prepared, cold, meals (mostly sushi dishes), which are prepared on site. Absolutely love it.

frist time i have ever tryed ramen befor and it was well nice i got the spicy chicken the noodle and chicken had a nice kick to it untill i had the soup it blow my head off hehe which was nice and aswell i didnt expect it i like heat ya see .... ill defo be going back there for sure

When the boss is in, there really is nothing they can't do for you here. Vegan/vegetarian options can be made to order (veggie chirashi don). A recent menu update means there is now also a tofu curry option. It's impressive given the tiny space they operate from. The boss also helpfully gives you info sometimes like Tuna is better for you than Salmon, for example. I'd say the work ethic and service mindset of the boss is slow to trickle down to all the staff. Maybe they are mostly students who have needed to be trained in the service industry from scratch? It doesn't matter though, I am just over the moon to have a sushi option in Bradford. FINALLY!

This place is a gem. The California rolls is just as bloody gorgeous as the famous Japanese restaurant in Newcastle. I’m a massive lover of sushi’s and this place is my guilty pleasure. Well done guys.
