Authentic Pakistani food. I would highly recommend the mixed grill with the mint soda. The soda has black salt which gives it the pizazz!

Worst karahi I ever had, staff doesn't know what planet they living on.

The food was decent but definitely not worth the price they charge. When it came time to pay the bill the card machine was mysteriously switched off and they asked for £60. Found it a bit suspicious that the bill came to £60 exactly. Asked to see the receipt a4nd noticed around £7 worth of charges on there for stuff we didn't even order. Safe to say I won't be going back. Trying to charge big restaurant money for somewhere that feels like a run down diner. Response to owner: I will not remove the review. I was definitely at your restaurant before the car crashed into your shop. So don't try to make out this is a fake review. Concentrate on the fact that your staff tried to swindle us out of money and tried fobbing us off that the card machine wasn't working so he could get cash off us because he knew there was a cash machine at the BP petrol station across the road. We bank transferred the money to his personal account so we still have a record of this. Have a good day.

First time visited Butt Karahi in Bradford. Lovely experience. Food was on point and staff was polite and friendly and very welcoming. Complimentary green tea was perfect with traditional ghur. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend others to try.

Truly an amazing chef but why is it shut? We came there and all scaffolding was up including shutters at 7.30pm on a weekday?

Previously ate at a couple of different branches of butt karahi, southall branch and heckmondwike branch. I believe all establishments are owned by different owners with just the same name. From here we ordered half kg chicken karahi, half kg lamb zaytooni karahi, family grill platter, roti and some fries Family platter contained the following items..murgh tikka, lamb chops, chicken sheekh kebab, mutton sheekh kebab and chicken wings.. Each and every item on the platter was absolutely mouthwatering, bursting with many different flavours 👌💯🔥🔥🔥. Hands down the tastiest grill food, I've had for some time. Chicken karahi was of decent taste but the lamb karahi was absolutely delicious. Meat was soft and tender and very flavoursome.. I would definitely recommend trying this place out, as we travelled over 250 miles round trip, and absolutely loved it...

The food was bland, some even tasting funny, and very oily, so much so it seemed like most of the kharis are half oil and the food is pricey. Overall wouldn't eat here again

We came here to taste lahore chana. But we were very much amazed after trying a lamb zaytoon karahi and especially grill chappal kebabs. Premium taste. I have not come across this level of taste before... must recommend.. must try... proper lahore 😍

The food was satisfactory, however, the service was subpar due to condescending and rude staff. The prices were exceedingly high, making it more economical to consider a trip to Pakistan which will have better service, better food and much better prices.

We visited this homely place today in Bradford from Blackburn . It was a great gem, dining inside with lovely ladies who served us. Excellent in cleanliness and food was great. My family throughly enjoyed their experience. Price was respectable and reasonable. Food and service were 5 stars.

Late night visit to Butt Karahi and WOW so glad we actually came!!! Ordered the Murgh Malai Tikka which was succulent and 10/10 along with the Mutton Chilli Sheesh Kebab, again 10/10 🤤 next up was the Lamb Desi Ghee Karahi with Garlic Naan which was nothing short of PERFECT. Lamb was so tender it just fell apart without any effort 🤩 lastly the service from Rani Simran Jee was 11/10. Such a lovely young lady who recommended the Lamb Karahi. Definitely worth the £40. Look forward to returning!!

Three of us tried the place out last night. Ordered Desi Ghee Lamb Karahi 1kg. Definately NOT 1kg of lamb as advertised. It was more like 1/2 kg lamb on the bone swimming in a 1/2 kg pool of ghee. Boiled/pressure cooked meat sauted in a frying pan and lacking any flavour £29.99 As lovers of paye, so we ordred Paaya. Where i do start.The worst paye we have ever tasted; very watery, full of black pepper and not the distinct and gelatinous taste and flavours we are accustomed to. A waste of £8.99 and left hardly touched. The lady at the payment counter did not agree with our feedback. Charged extra for salad and bottled water to boot. 4x nan and chips were the best thing about the meal. Cash only..£56.95 - not bad for 3 ppl but left unsatisfied overall. Maybe an off night for the chef but we will not be returning.

The is a disgrace to Butt karahi there was no salt in kebab and food was fill.of oil.the staff keep telling that there is salt in kebab so we 9 people against one person . Will ot be going again

We were in Bradford for Eid, We came to butt karahi for dinner We had lamb karahi , shahi daal , chicken Sheek.kebabs & malai boti, The food was amazing, 5 *from us , The service was excellent, even though the restaurant was full , Much tastier than all the big named restaurants, Can’t wait to go back ,,,,,,,,(from Scotland)

Seekh kebabs were nice and tasty. The chicken karai and daal were delicious too. The mango and plain Lassi were nice too.

Very nice Karahi, we come to Bradford regularly and usually go to Pind but this place is even better

Food here is exceptional, so clean and tasty. The customer service was amazing and the staff were extremely polite and the manager was so nice checking if we needed anything. The food was fresh and very tasty, it so soft and tender and I would definitely recommend they have separate sitting section for families which is always a bonus!

Only karchi 14.99 they charge extra for roti but it's too oil in it not worth paying that much money just for oil can't even eat and taste was not good person on till rude he made as waiting for paying because he's busy talking not even say sorry or thanks but other stuff was good at table I won't recommend this place because off food quality and price also rude and no respect for customers they just making bad reputation for butt karahi name

We went to try the Karahis.. it was the most horrible experience ever. Service was not good. Ambience was not good. Food sorry to say was horrible. We spent nearly 90 pound for three people. Karahis were half cooked, bland and full of oil. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE 1 STAR. 👎👎👎👎

Had dinner here last night, amazingly delicious desi ghee chicken karahi and mutton sheesh cheese kababs. Food in Bradford is comparatively better but never hit the tastebuds which are conditioned to the Pakistani taste until yesterday at lahori Butt Karahi. Food, service, atmosphere all best. The Chicken Ziytoon Curry (half kg which was enough for 2 people) was beautiful, together with the garlic naan and tandoori roti. The meat samosa was delicious too. Everything was very flavourful, fresh and tasty. Lots of seating inside and the staff are extremely welcoming. Best customer service. I'd highly recommend going here!

Food was amazing. All freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Restaurant was more of a casual takeaway style not a formal restaurant prices where top restaurant prices though. This is overlooked by the quality of the food. Really enjoyed would definitely return and recommend.

Beautiful food and the service was great our waiter couldn't do enough for us, we ordered lamb desi ghee karahi and chicken desi ghee karahi and both were stunning.

I decided to tray this place after hearing good reviews from friends and family unfortunately it wasn’t up to standard the curry we had was average and was very greasy the roti were nice and soft the salad that they gave was brown and old you could see that it was chopped night before because the onions were very watery they try to give bottled water instead of tap water so they can skam you and charge for that be aware when you go to this establishment

I went with my friends today to try new place. We ordered cheese chicken seekh kebab and malai boti for starter. We ordered lamb karahi in zitoon oil and butter chicken karahi with Rogni naan and Rotis. Everything is amazing especially cheesy chicken seekh kebab and lamb karahi. Their paan was too good. Highly recommended You can park car outside and on the street as well.

A must for Karahi lovers, homely setting with traditional Pakistani service 👍 1. Variety of high quality Karahis: the 'Chicken Desi Ghee', 'Lamb Peshwari' and 'Chicken Achari' are our favourites; 1kg each if you have 2 hungry diners 😉; the roti / naan and salad are extras; the mango lassi is overpriced for what you get IMHO (pop across to Mii Chai to finish it all off); all halal here and no alcohol on premises 👍 2. Plenty of seating arrangements: can get very busy, plenty of seating and some tables maybe too tight for all those 6ft+ diners (assess your seating before you order) 😅 3. Good customer service: polite staff who know their Karahis, gets very busy so you may need to remind your waiter / waitress re any pressing items 😉 4. Prayer room facilities: check with management, but plenty of mosques within 5 min drive 5. No dedicated parking: can get very busy, local street parking is your only option 😉

Nice little spot that specialises in charsi karahi. Their makhan lamb charsi was quite nice. Had it with tandoori roti but I think it would have been better with a garlic naan. Portion of the 1kg was enough for 3 of us on the night. Some kheer to finish off the meal went down well also.

Very delicious food. We ordered Butter Chicken Karahi. It was different but very tasty. The spice level was well balanced. Their Roghni Naan is the best. Children really enjoyed Malai tikka Boti and the Chicken Sheesh Kebabs.

Very bad customer service. The food is good. Service is really slow. The sitting area is no good at all. Its not good for families. We placed an order starter, karahi, lasi, and salad, they didn't even bring salad. Even we forgot about it. For lasi I asked them again and then gave us almost when we finished the meal. Lasi is £12 very tiny jug. Really rip off. Chicken and lamb 1kg karahi for £30. But it looks like not even half kg. Big name but totally rip off

The karahi over here are quite unique compare to all other karahi houses, the recipe is very different which makes it special, the cheesy meat seekh kebabs are absolutely delicious from here too. haven't tried anything else yet, look forward to trying other things on the menu

Food Speaks for itself. 6th day in a row. That is how Authentic this Karahi is. Starters need alot of Improvment . They lack House sauces which is something they need to work on. There best Dish is Lamb Karahi with Desi Ghee . There is no one in whole Bradford who can beat this taste. Others need to up there game .

Went in with the family. Food was ok. They charged for the salad. No tap water. water bottle which they charge you. Staff was really nice really friendly. It’s over priced to expensive For a new business. After eating the handi my wife got a really bad cough.
