Food is good quality and usually very quick delivery unless they are really busy.

Genuinely good quality, tasty food, pizzas and kebabs both excellent. Staff are friendly. Only point against is that the prices are pretty high compared to other high street kebab places in the area so be warned!

Made an order. Waited an hour and a half before they realised they could not deliver. So hungry we feel sick. Why did it take them 1.5 hours before they realised they couldn't deliver? We we're 4 mins driver away via Google maps.

Ordered from here tonight. Such a nice takeaway and there was huge portions I had so much left as I couldn’t eat it all. Really tasty and one of the best I’ve had. Thanks

We called in here when we were stuck for somewhere to eat. The shop was clean and orderly, and the food was all freshly prepared with real care as we waited. The food was really very good for both vegetarian and other needs. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Five stars all round.

Down right the absolute best kebab in Sussex. Flavour that is as good as the first time you try it, and donner meat that is perfect in a pita with some garlic mayo.

Really disappointing, poor food and poor customer service. Ordered for delivery, was over an hour late, with the following issues: - missing child’s meal - pizza upside down in box so cheese stuck to lid, also orders stuffed crust and received normal crust. - chicken wrap cold on delivery Called to resolve, no resolution offered and told would need to speak to manager who was too busy to take our call. Would NOT recommend Hassocks Kebab.

We ordered a take away from here this evening and are very disappointed, delivery was an hour late, missing items, cold food and squashed pizza tried to call to speak to the manager it too busy to resolve the issues. We won’t be ordering again

We’ve been coming here since they opened and by now have probably sampled most of the menu. When I ate meat I loved the chicken shish, one of the best I’ve ever had- and the salad that goes alongside it, and their other kebabs, always tastes fresh and delicious. Since becoming vegetarian I can say that their halloumi kebab does not hit the same heights. The halloumi always tastes cold and rubbery, which is confusing because as a cheese it’s usually noted for being quite salty and charred, this one is just bland. One good thing about the halloumi kebab being so average though is that it led me to discover the pizzas here. It’s not something I’d expect a kebab house to excel at, but the pizzas are so much better than any of your typical pizza takeaways e.g. Domino’s/ Papa Johns. The vegetarian calzone is in particular fantastic. Well seasoned on the inside, topped with a generous portion of melty cheese with a nice bit of char on top- and very generously portioned.

Tried the kebab houses in my area but they are pretty average, looked further afield and hassocks kebab is pretty decent, very expensive compared to what I used to spend on a kebab.

So glad your back off your holidays i tried a Kebab place in Lancing recommended but nothing can top you guys and your fresh high quality kebabs in this village teşekkür ederim

Service is great and friendly. Food is cooked perfectly, tasty, fresh, crisp, salad. Delivery is friendly and quick. Store appears very clean and hygienic.

Tried to order but they had run out of ingredients over an hour before close, very good sign. Ordered again online the next night and was closed.. found out after waiting 1hr 30 after ordering.. only by rings 5 times and no answer. So finally ordered again for the 3rd time.. very basic and no cucumber or tomato or lemon.. definitely could have made at home for far less and less time. When I lived in bhill it was my go too.. but definitely nothing special now 😫

Finally, after moving down to Burgess Hill from London, we have found an amazing kebab shop!... we cannot fault this place at all! Best chicken shish I have ever eaten! Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Totally delicious!

Used to go every week for a Large Donner meat and chips, but haven't been since they decided to suddenly increase the price by £2 to "£9.50" completely unnecessary inflation on something that is already fundamentally cheap, are we in London haha? My Northern friends had a heart attack when they saw the price! very disappointed

Fresh meat, thoroughly marinated, genuinely charcoal grilled as I saw them making it in store. It can only lead to one great kebab! Staff are all very friendly. I'm not local but can come back just for this amazing kebab!

By far the best kebab shop around!! Especially good donor meat (which is rare!) I’ve edited my previous review about wet salad as they seem to have listened and pack the salad separately when asked. All round good service.

Excellent Kebab shop! I've been living in the area for about six months now and I have ordered from here about four times. The food is excellent, packaged very well and it arrives hot and ready to eat. They have their own website where you can choose your order and process for either a home delivery or for collection. I live in Pyecombe and they deliver to me no problem. The delivery driver has always been very pleasant with good customer service skills. The food itself is well cooked and very tasty, we normally have chicken shish and lamb shish kebabs, and you can be very specific about the side salad and other extras available like having your sauce in a separate pot instead of all over the food making it all too wet. Overall I'm very satisfied and will definitely be ordering from them again. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work Hassocks Kebab 👏 👏 👏

Best kebab around worth every penny

The owner and staff have just returned from being in Turkey for a well earned break. They were very busy indeed as i ordered my favourite lamb kebab, always very tender meat, optional sources, salads to suit. Such a friendly hard working catering group of guys. An excellent combination of great staff and fantastic food.

Hassocks kebabs never fail! The boys have been closed for a bit whilst they've been away in holiday so it is lovely to have them back open. We ordered 2 mixed lamb and chicken shish kebabs, the meat and pita came together with the salad and sauces all separate which was perfect so the bread wasn't soggy! The meat was so tender and juicy. Can't recommend them enough! Thanks boys 😀

The food arrived slightly late which isn’t too much of a problem but it arrived cold. I took a couple of bites out of my burger to find a small metal bolt in the burger meat. Called Hassocks Kebab to report this and the most they offered was free food after I told them I would never order from them again.

Ordered for delivery - arrived in good time and we are incredibly full now, huge portions and tasted great. Only minus: no lemon slices with the doner kebab!

Recommended to anyone that love s good nurashing meat

Spotlessly clean take away. We often order foods from here through Just Eat and the food always arrives piping hot and delivered on time. I was pleasantly surprised when visiting in person. Staff are all chatty even though they were extremely busy. Salad and meat is all on display and looks fresh.

It's the only kebab in Hassocks so it's ok but it is not a great kebab it tolerable. The chips arent fresh they are frozen , could clean the shop a bit. I hope the meat is fresh. So only 3 stars because the staff is friendly otherwise would give only 2 stars. Went once is enough will try other places.

You won't regret buying here. They cook over real charcoal and take pride in what they serve. They will also go the extra mile to make sure your order is just the way you like it. The staff are really engaging and friendly.

I have sampled most of what is on offer here and i have never had a complaint about the food that is served up here. I would suggest it is the best kebab house in the local and surrounding area. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Such a hit and miss kebab. It can be quite good but sometimes inedible. At the weekend I had a chicken Shish, the chicken was slightly on the dry side but my other half’s lamb wrap was dire. I’m not one to complain but she was picking out gristle after gristle , half of the wrap was more or less gristle it was unbelievable, similar to chewing gum. At a rate of £6.50 you felt utterly done over , big time. Iv only ever gone here out of local convenience but I’d think about travelling to burgess hill for a kebab takeout now.

Great kebabs on a charcoal grill. Easily the best food on offer in hassocks. Love the chilly sauce that they make fresh . Only place to eat for me: fresh, healthy and tasty .. could be a little cheaper but i guess you get what you pay for.

They are very friendly staff service is good just one slight thing the salad could be more generous, I always have to ask for chilli pickles as they are slightly shy in giving them out.

I believe ordering late on Friday may have been an error as we have had food from this place that is good quality, unfortunately this time the food was 10 mins late (not a major issue) my pizza was very over cooked on one half so it was crispy and dry, it was luke warm at best as was the garlic bread, very poor experience on this occasion

After 1 hour and 40 minutes and four phone calls our food finally arrived stone cold, no apology, I can’t comment on the taste of the food as we sent it back, very disappointed, first and last time ordering from here

Tad cold, but delicious as usual

ordered 2 pizzas, received one of them on time. my girlfriend rang and queried, was told the other pizza would arrive “any min”. After waiting another 50 mins i phoned up and asked what was going on, heard in the background someone saying “they only ordered one pizza”, the guy on the phone obviously looked at the order and realised they had messed up so said once again that it would arrive any min. clearly they ignored the original complaint by my girlfriend, and when the second pizza finally arrived after another 20-30 mins (just under 2 hrs after the order was made, 50 mins after the order was “promised” to have arrived) we received an apology and that was it. Won’t be ordering from this place again, pizza wasn’t even that great.
