Great table service, lovely friendly staff. Food good, lots using the pub on a Friday afternoon

Out of four items, one was unavailable and one was just missing. Rest was cold

bacon was overcooked,no black pudding even though i was charged for it. 😞

Went here with my hubby and sister in law and boyfriend.... neva have a starter but my sister un law did and she had the minestrone soup and a roll...which she said was beautiful... i had the Turkey for main .. we also had 1 lamb and 2 mixed meats.. all the meats were cooked beautiful and all very tender.. and an absolute platefull of it... the veg came in turines and there was huge amount of it.. plus we had stuffing and rosties and Yorkshire.... all the food was cooked to perfection... for desserts we had 2 choccy fudge and cream and a apple pie and custard... Absolutely beaut.... lovely friendly staff all of them... Will definitely be returning here....

Good, especially today, food festival is on.
