Harvester Yeoman Nuneaton in Nuneaton and Bedworth

We came for a family meal, 3 of us, 3 generations. Our server Ross was fab. He asked about allergies, my son is allergic to tree nuts, and he sorted that. He answered our questions and made us feel heard and well served. Food was good, wine nice, a carafe of water offered. All in all a very friendly place with a well trained and enthusiastic team. Food staff and atmosphere was great, my only problem was that I am registered blind and had to use my magnifier to read menu and had problems with print, thankfully a friend helped. Obviously problem specificly with regard to me. The food was really nice and well cooked

How disappointed we were today when visiting one of our favourite places to eat. Bread tasted stale. Had to ask someone to change the pineapple on the salad bar as it had other food in it. Our food arrived, and my sweet potato fries were overcooked. A poor little boy on the table next to us waited 40 minutes for his pudding!! Standards have sadly dropped. Won't be going back any time soon.

Meal for one while away with work is never exactly a joyous occasion, but the service was great (shout out to Rob - thanks for looking after me) and the food was good for the price, would come back if I find myself back in this neck of the woods again

The food nice, but for our last 2 visits the food has been Luke warm or cold and sent back and for some reason they are serving hot food on freezing cold plates!!

Prompt service despite the restaurant being busy, steak was a bit chewy but other than that, meal was great. Caitlin was very helpful.

Sat in a okd draught had to ask to be moved,wet bowls given for salad,wrong meal given with things missing had to wait, experience was spoilt

Visited earlier 27th December 2024,waited over an hour to get our main meals wish we hadn't of bothered,everyone's food was cold and overcooked,a couple that came in after us had there meal before us,paid and left and we hadn't received our food.Yvonne the waitress was a nightmare it was as if she didn't know what she was doing.We will not be visiting again we shall go to the chase in higham lane as food is better quality and more value for money, the service is also second to none compared to the harvester.

Food and service great but the meet and greet with Santa was awful for second year running

Visited Harvester Nuneaton tonight ~ was pleasantly surprised with choice of food and how attentive the staff were~ a big shout out in particular to Josh , such a pleasant and engaging young man~ took our order promptly & gave us time to enjoy our food between courses.

Food was really nice, and the staff were amazing. I didn’t catch the lads name, But he brought over a bowl of raisins for my daughter as he noticed her trying to get some herself. Really good night out for my husband’s birthday. Would definitely be back

Minimal vegan options, salad bar was not refilled

Really friendly and polite staff. Food was very nice, and the sauce selection was vast! Portions on mains could've been a bit bigger for the money, but enjoyed. The atmosphere got 3* just because our side of the restaurant was cold. We asked for the heating to go on but it didn't. Around the open fire side it was lovely, but we were placed elsewhere and everyone our side on other tables had their coats on. Also the salad bar wasn't kept topped up, honestly it was the last scraps both sides, and there was no choice. We'd 100% go there again dont get me wrong its a nice place, but we'd move if in a draught.

We decided to celebrate a birthday at the Harvester on a Friday evening, looking forward to a joyful gathering with friends and family. My first encounter with this establishment dates back to the late 1980s. Despite living just across the road, I rarely ventured into the pub area, as it always felt somewhat unwelcoming. Unlike other pubs where one can immediately feel at ease, this Harvester had an air of discomfort about it, as if the ambiance had been frozen in time. The building, constructed in the 1960s or 1970s, bore the weight of its years; the carpet looked remarkably similar to what had been installed decades ago, and the decor felt outdated, lacking the warmth and charm that would invite patrons to linger. For our large group of twelve, the service turned out to be one of the evening's few highlights, with our waitress displaying remarkable attentiveness and willingness to ensure we were well taken care of. When our meals finally arrived, they came out simultaneously, a feat that is often challenging to achieve for such a large party. Unfortunately, many of us were met with a disappointing surprise: almost every dish was served cold. As I sliced into my chicken, I was disheartened to find that while the outer layer appeared cooked, the inside was cool. The same went for the chips that accompanied my meal, which echoed the sentiment of my fellow diners. It became clear that the kitchen lacked a salamander or any means to keep the dishes warm, a crucial oversight when serving a table of twelve, as the preparation time can stretch all the way to ten minutes. I know what its like as in my earlier years I was a chef for several busy restaurants. In all honesty, given the experience, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Owen did a great job on table service and very friendly. Real hard worker and a credit to the Harvester. However, manager needs to ensure comms between kitchen, bar and front of house works better as food came out cold and drinks service was slow (not the fault of Owen).

Been coming here for family meals for years and always enjoyed them. Today was no exception. We were excellently served and very well looked after by Abbie during our visit.

Breakfast is incredible. Value for money is spot on and Yvonne worked her socks off and still managed to be polite, courteous and take a few seconds to have some conversation. Disappointed Harvester have her working alone when the kids have broken up from school. You’d never know though… a lovely attitude from the off.

Absolute crap ordered for collection for 8pm eventually came out 35 minutes later then i checked my food the chips was stone cold dry and like cardboard and the garlic bread was burnt to cinders .. will never go here again

The service was OK and the food was OK not great and not something I would urge others to go to. Feel it's lost something since last visit. Shame

Came here last Thursday to take advantage of 40% off mains. Was very busy but food came out quickly and cooked to perfection. We were asked straight away if we had any food allergies and a drinks order taken. Not sure of servers name but sat by the lovely Lacey. Thankyou!

Great place, friendly staff, and good food. They have a rewards scheme for those with a smartphone. You can download their app and collect vouchers for rewards. Booking is advised, due to how popular it is, if you want to guarantee a table. They update the menu regularly, so you shouldn't get bored with their selections. The salad bar is also very nice with a good choice of items.

Always fully booked, but always half of restaurant completely empty…. Staff don’t care, unless they feel they may have a chance of being tipped… ordered food, waited 20 minutes to be told dish was unavailable… replacement dish was served cold, only one set of cutlery served to 2 of us? I then attitude from the little midget guy with the spectacles from behind the bar, instead of actually trying to resolve issue …. Use : The Long Shoot pub, just around the corner, it’s cheaper and at least the staff try a little to do their job, regular customer to harvester, but won’t be visiting the Nuneaton branch ever again

Having to chase staff to order and salad bar all but empty. Food delay not acceptable. Booked for restaurant but given a table in the bar. Lack of cutlery and condiments.

Great new menu and the corn bread is very tasty

I went for breakfast, I gave the food a 4 purely based on the sausages, everything else was absolutely perfect. The woman who served us was absolutely great, and other customers were fairly quiet making a nice atmosphere. I’ll 100% be going back

they do not sell corn no more they have changed their menu no barbecue sauce. , ordered a skewer was mainly onion no Hardly any halloumi might as well have bought a plate of onion

Just a drab place, food nothing special and not hot.Waited half hour for meal and 20 for ppudding

Went as a family for a double birthday celebration and the food was vile and the service was shocking was very disappointed, mains came with no chip's and had finished the meal, a main came as a starter and the quality of the produce I would not have fed it to my animals, will never go again spent nearly £150 would have been better going McDonald's, DO NOT EAT HERE VILE WORST FOOD GOING DISGUSTING PS The only good thing was the salad bar

Met up with some friends from Norwich whom we hadn't seen for 10 years. Fiona was excellent. My other half is Vegan and despite the menu being new, Fiona knew various items available. She was extremely busy but very attentive, professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks Fiona! Food was great. Overall a great afternoon.

Yvonne our server was pleasant , our choices were taken quickly and the meals arrived promptly. No issues with the quality of the food. Yvonne checked in to see if all was ok with our meals. Our plates were cleared efficiently - and the bill presented as soon as we requested it. Yvonne’s excellent service and attentiveness made our lunchtime visit a pleasure.

Lovely lunch stop. Typical Harvester fayre which was extremely good. Yvonne was very welcoming and efficient. Highly recommended.

Excellent Food, and outstanding service by Yvonne, she is a credit to the company, took time to go through the new menu with us, explained you no longer do the corn in the cob, but it’s been replaced by corn bread which was absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The only down side was no pineapple on the salad bar but otherwise we really enjoyed our meal. Look forward to our next visit. Paula & Hazel

During our visit on a Saturday at 10 am, we experienced a short wait before being seated. Another group took the initiative to locate our server and notify them of the line of patient customers, waiting to be seated. Once seated, the service was prompt and efficient, with our food arriving hot and quickly. However, I observed that our server appeared to be managing the majority of the workload alone. I did need to request additional refills of tea and coffee more than once, as the server seemed overwhelmed and had forgotten. In conclusion, while I would consider revisiting this establishment, I would recommend considering additional staffing for Saturday mornings to ensure a smoother dining experience for customers.

Spent the weekend at this location and the service all-round was excellent, friendly and attentive. Eva looked after us very well and overall it was a lovely experience and we'd happily come here again.
