Visited today (14/03) and had the most delicious tomahawk pork. The wonderful server Chloe told me that it was brand new as the menu only launched yesterday. Absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend trying it!

Popped in during the daytime for birthday lunch with a family member. Greeted by a waitress, asked about allergies and was seated in an area away from direct lights above a table due to light sensitivity. Brilliant selection of drinks, starters, meals and desserts. Easy to order and the waitress was helpful with using offers on the app so we could save money. Overall a clean establishment, helpful and welcoming staff, food freshly prepared. Very pleased with the experience of the visit.

Awful waited over a hour for burnt food would not recommend

Just left this place. Absolutely awful. Haddock so dry and curled lt actually looked like the letter C. I could have re--soled my shoes with my hallomi and i've never had chips like it in my life, like leather but with nothing inside. No bread available, no peas ( but they didn't say, just served without) and to cap it all, the girl restocking the salad was filthy. I don't mean a little stained i mean FILTHY. Never, ever again.

Been refurbished, so looking nice & clean. Busy but not enough staff around Our order was taken quite prompt, our food was well presented, cooked well and hot Plenty of choice at salad bar, noticed the bowls have got smaller same as the bread rolls, but hey, that's the cost of living hitting the customers, only saying !

Waited over a hour for a mixed grill and Triple combo ridiculous waited a over a hour but the restaurant apologised for the inconvenience and gave us complementary food

5 of us ate here tonight, everything was overcooked , dry or stale. Won't be returning

Not very good. I've been here in the past and really enjoyed it. On my latest visit it wasn't very enjoyable. Firstly on entering the restaurant, the staff were looking very stressed and complaining about how busy they were. The salad bar was not well stocked, with several empty boxes. When our food finally came it was awful. We had ordered the vegan flatbread dish. The vegan style alternative meat was inedible and completely solid. The whole dish was cold and overall not very well presented. When we asked for the bill our mains plates were untouched we mentioned to the staff it was inedible and shrugged and said "yeah the vegan stuff is like that." Being a vegetarian for many years I can assure you it is not supposed to be like that. I won't be returning in a hurry !

he took ages to come and take our order and give us our bowls n glasses the waiter was very rude was rushing us to order when he eventually came said what to my friend when she said her order not pardon or could u repeat that was even less happy about us splitting the bill said how much each u paying and huffed really needs some customer service skills food took ages to come wasnt very hot either

We were disappointed, as we usually have an excellent experience when visiting this Harvester, but this particular visit was not the best. The waitress handed an extremely hot place to our 6 year old with no warning, which she instantly dropped to the table because it burned her hands (she is fine). Our food had clearly been under the hot lamps for a while before being brought to us because the chips were very chewy, and I couldn't even finish my ribs. No-one came to ask if everything was OK we were left without drinks for the kids and ended up sharing a glass of water between 3 of us, and unable to grab anyone to ask for more BBQ sauce, as our bottle was empty.

Our service was amazing by shireen and she also helped us with the app qitch saved us money! Amazing we will be back again

Had breakfast on the day they were doing Breakfast with Santa, but they were very helpful and still fit us in. Shireen was lovely, very accommodating and friendly. We all had waffles, which the kids hoovered up - delicious berry sauce!

Had a lovely meal at the Llantrisant store. Food was tasty and fresh. The service was great we had Shireen serving us and she was very polite and attentive nothing was too much to ask she's a credit to the team there. We'll be visiting again.

I recently visited the harvester, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive, Shireen especially! The atmosphere was warm and perfect for a casual meal with my family. Salad bar was fully stocked and all fresh, and my main was beautifully cooked! Extra utensils were needed when the little ones drop theirs on the floor, Shireen spotted and brought us clean ones before I even asked. So friendly, professional and didn’t feel rushed at all, despite it being really busy. Will definitely be attending again, without a doubt! Someone give this lady a payrise! She undoubtedly deserves it! Thank you!

We arrived at 11.40am we were waiting for our Grandchildren they took us to our table ,they were very busy ,the staff were very helpful,and we all order our Breakfast .It came and it was Huge we had the Classic Breakfast it was more than enough and was all hot and delicious.The staff were very polite and it was lovley and clean. was very nice friendly.

The waiting staff were lovely and so helpful. Our drinks we had to change because the soda in them tasted odd. The salad bar was very good but we were so disappointed with our mains. We had a combo. The chicken was nice and succulent, but the ribs should never had been put on the plate. They were extremely dry and no taste. It was difficult to get any meat off the bone. I had to leave mine. Corn bread? Definitely miss a corn on the cob. We wasted money here. Very sad.

Dreadful experience sat waiting for breakfast to come one and a half hours. When people come in after us receive there food. We approached the manager she was very un helpful. And told us there was still three tables in front of us

Not all items on the menu available. Not advised at order stage therefore the meals came without certain parts. No reduction in the bill but the main disappointment was that we were not made aware at order stage ro consider other options.

Our waitress shireen was lovely and helpful as I was with my almost 1 year old daughter. Was very kind and offered to stand by my daughter for me to go to the salad bar. Thought that was lovely. Food was lovely and my daughter enjoyed very much. Great experience. Thank you

Tonight we were served by Evie c and were greeted by Joe on the door. Evie was very quick with service and very polite. Food was delicious. Definitely reccomend this harvester!

Banging food as usual, slow service but that's cos its always so busy. Not much of an atmosphere if I'm honest but still nice place to eat.

The starter came too quick, only just sat down with salad bowl and the starter arrived. Ordered ribble steak and it looked more like sirloin, extremely under cooked for medium, sent it back and it looked like the whole plate had just been put in microwave, by this point chips and other items were inedible. The steak was so tough as well, even a sharp knife couldn't cut it. Worse meal ever!!!!

Poor experience,waited 50 minutes for our 3 meals to arrive,no apology for the long wait,food very mediocre,definitely not freshly made,when we asked why the long wait,the staff member was so disinterested,and stated we are fully booked tonight,and only have 3 chefs in the kitchen,no apology again. Would expect better from Harvester

Food was not worth the money. I had the burger and it was disgusting, husbands steak was very well done even tho he asked for medium rare.

I was as expected except for the salad bar being almost empty for a prolonged period of time. I.E. it was getting replenished as we were leaving. Roughly about an hour.

Had breakfast here today, food was v disappointing, waitress wasn't very attentive at all, nor welcoming, our breakfast order was taken pretty soon after being seated but we then waited 30 minutes for it to arrive, I went to the toilet 5 minutes before it did arrive and there was at least 8 plates on the serving counter going cold, when they did arrive everything was cold, beans were luke warm at best. I was waiting for someone to come and ask if everything was ok to address it but that never came, waitress then returned and asked us if we were finished and if we wanted the bill. Restaurant was not busy at all , maybe 5 or 6 tables occupied , saw at least 5 members of staff, so dont understand what went wrong. Paid the bill and left, will not be returning here for breakfast.

Have our anniversary meal here, food was great, really good service and plenty of parking.

Been her twice now all ways enjoyed the food and the service. Tables are all ways available and free salad and drink refills, Above was my original review that still stands about the old harvester, this one is about the new harvester talbot green, service was OK , food was well below what they previously done much smaller portions, had to wait 1 hour before geting the food, one was cold but my father-in-law didn't want to complain, one dish arrived about 10 minutes after every one else's decor is over the top, Jeat keep it simple they have over complicated every thing, and they have put me completely off on visiting again,
