Harvester Llantrisant in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Our friends brought us here for our last meal together before flying back home and we loooooved it. The place is lovely and clean, the food is deliciousssss and the staff very friendly, specially Mel, she was lovely. Thank you!

Booked a table online for restaurant but on arrival no restaurant table available and was seat within bar area despite prebooking restaurant, which was very disappointing. However, food was great and customer service by our server was excellent

Had a lovely lunch meal and great service from Shireen.

We had Chloe as a server and despite it being: - The first weekend of the school summer holidays - Right at dinner time mid-rush (honestly it was crazy) Chloe went above and beyond to make sure our food was okay and we felt welcomed. The food was just as good as always and they made us really want to come back!

Absolutely spot on from beginning to end..Food, was lovely, service was fab. Will certainly be returning. Chloe our waitress was amazing..

Great salad bar and a lot of options, but you may be disappointed when you find that your choice isn't available. Could do with more waiters. We have been twice within a week and would rate the waiters excellent to ordinary.

Shireen was our server and she was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our Food took over an hour to arrive we had to ask our server to find out how long ours would be, My Husband half chicken was lovely and tasty but my chicken skewers was very dry.

The service was slow and poor, the food was poor quality the chicken was over cooked and dry and the children’s bigger appetites mash was a table spoon serving

Very enjoyable meal, though disappointed in the desert, I understand the costs that are incurred in restaurants at this moment in time, but fail to understand the thought that a plain ice cream in a sundae dish can come with a variety of sauces but one with strawberries and berries at a £1 extra doesn't.

Every thing was going so well at first then they delivered my main which was supposed to be a medium sirloin steak which was cold under cooked and tuff as old boots mind you everyone else's meal were very good 👍

Lovely friendly service, bountiful salad bar and tasty meal. I had the 83 combo which was hot and fresh. I was served by Charlie, Mel and Jade who made sure I was well looked after and were always smiling. Thank you!

We're a nightmare table as we have three allergies between us, but Chloe was so helpful and nothing was too much for her. Chloe was so lovely with our two little ones and very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The food waste under the table was off putting. The service was slow. Food varied way too much - some very good, others very bad (child's pudding had a banana in it that can only be described as rotten). Will not return.

Waited in excess of half an hour for our breakfast. Mediocre at best, stodgy sausage........my wifes poached eggs were rock solid (see photo). If you can't cook a poached egg you shouldn't be in a kitchen! To top it all the breakfast came with unlimited tea or coffee for £1.99. Asked for a decaf tea for my second cup.......... only found out when I checked the bill at home that I had been charged an extra £2.99 for it!! Won't be going again!!

No problem with the food except the portion was very small, salad bar nearly empty. My husband and myself bought it to attention of staff but not replenished sadly. 1 st time iv had to complain about Llantrisant and hope it's the last. Iv been a customer for around 45 years. In all that time only one complaint until now and that was in Sully. I have bought it to your attention before but no response from yourself

Haven't visited harvest for a long time went for a family meal never again food very skimpy no taste and service was horrendous waiting tome to get served needs massive improvement I won't be in a hurry to go bk any time soon

Chloe was lovely! She was fantastic with the kids and rectified our issues with our food. Food wasn’t as we have had before, My burger was saturated in Grease, chips were very overcooked and hard, and were un edible. Chloe rectified all these issues and replaced the chips and 1 burger, I did feel asking to add a tip at the end when paying uncomfortable after the issues we had, bad timing

I love this Harvester Branch. I have been to this one twice and will definitely frequently visit once I move to llantrisant this year. The staff are always friendly the loos are clean , the food is always fresh and hot and the salad bar is always topped up and fresh.

Much better food than neighbouring Harvester in Bridgend Sarn. Service was efficient, friendly and helpful from Chloe. Salad was fresh and nothing run out as often happens at others.

Called in at lunchtime on a busy Easter holidays with 3 adults and 2 children. We had no reservations and this was the third place we had tried. They fitted us in immediately and couldn't have been more accommodating. The children ate for £1 and the portions were huge. The food was hot, fresh and served with a smile. Couldn't ask for more.

Decent meal, service wasn't the best. Seemed to take ages to order drinks, then ages to to find someone to ask for the bill. Table next to us got annoyed whilst waiting too and ended up having to find another staff member to order food. Prices seem to be creeping up all the time and not sure if it's value for money any more

A wonderful place to go for a dinner. Had a free meal when you visit with another adult, this was an unexpected birthday gift. The salad supply is unlimited and the fizzy drink is also unlimited. Had the rib which was freshly made, tender and rich in flavour. Great place for corporate dinner. Will surely visit again

I don't go to Harvester often and maybe that's why I remember it more fondly from my childhood days - I was always excited to go. The last couple times I've been, I probably rate it somewhere not far above a Wetherspoons (which I avoid). It just feels a bit grubby inside, and outside - well you're sitting in a car park. The staff here were friendly enough and the portion sizes were good, but the quality and/or creativity is lacking.

Booked a table for 9:30 am, 9 people (6 adults & 3 kids). Waited over an hour for our food. It arrived cold and with items missing. Eggs were overcooked. Muffins on the eggs benedicts were so rock hard they could have broken a tooth. Miss the good old self-serve breakfast, not impressed with the breakfast menu. Not everyone wants the same items on their cooked breakfast. Miss having the option of having a full continental breakfast where you could also get fresh fruit and help yourself to unlimited tea/coffee and fruit juice. I appreciate things had to change due to covid and the menu probably helps with food waste, but I wasnt impressed. What makes it worse is in the past, you paid one price for a full continental breakfast, which included everything available. Now you pay separate prices depending on what you order. One price for a cooked breakfast, another price for pancakes/waffles, another price for fruit, and a separate price for drinks. Honestl, I would have sent the food back but we were on a time constraint and we had waited long enough as it was.

Great food, place was super busy but plenty of staff and our server Chloe as ace. Would recommend to pre book.
