What a great place to eat! Fresh, hot food served by a very friendly waitress! Free salad bar with every main meal, clean menu, and not dog eared!! Clean toilets and free parking. Very reasonable prices. Large portions.

I really enjoy coming here,but must admit that i haven't eaten here in a while,but i did last week and now i remember what i was missing.The food was lovely My mum really enjoyed her gammon steak and would definitely come back for more.We sat in the cosy bar area with a nice seat by the window so we could watch the world go by.The bar area is Dog friendly and the lovely staff are always on hand to offer your furry friend a bowl of water,they even have there own menu....go figure.Great place,warm and friendly.Come check it out

Went in on Friday evening didn't have reservations but invited to wait in bar for 45 mins but had table earlier staff were excellent nice atmosphere prices were good and good food

Had the breakfast was not impressed raw half tomato,the bacon was chargrilled and could only taste the char not the bacon. Sausages were overcooked to extent were almost burnt. Breakfast had came recommended but certainly will not have one here again.

Attended with family for an afternoon meal.. Excellent menu. Food was very good. Waitress was very helpful. So a very good visit.

We had a lovely lunch, service was really quick our server was Ines my wife had scampi she enjoyed it had fish which i would recommend the batter was as good as Anstruther perfect good job Aga.

A party of 20 people attended this restaurant last night, the meal was enjoyed by all and our server Katrina coped very well with the service and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order and correct with professional service with a smile 😃 definitely will be back soon 😀

We always meet up here with family around Christmas. This year there was 20 of us. We'll done to Katrina who tended to us with such care and attention to detail, making sure we all had the meals we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Hats off to Chef Aga whose food was delicious and such detail in her presentation! Firm Family Favourite. 😍

Service was excellent - attentive, friendly, competent and focused. Food was unreal, we really loved it and will be back again next year. We've tried more expensive places on Christmas Day, but this was by far the best we've had.

We had a family meal on boxing day, the staff were all very friendly, the food was delicious and it was fairly priced, would recommend.

Completely joke of a restruant. Had a waitress who could barely speak English. We went for Christmas dinner. Only 3 options per course and the dumb waitress still managed to get everything wrong. Everyone served bar me. Told them not to bother with it. Definitely won't be coming back under any circumstances. The waiting staff are dense Second time I've came here. First time a got burger worse than weatherspoons for twice the price. Save your money and go to burger king across the road. The staff actually might be more academic atleast the speak the local language.

No waiting around to be seated. We were greeted at the door from happy staff. Katrina was our server today and she was amazing. She made sure we had enough drinks, the chef Neil made the most amazing food. We will most definitely be back for our Christmas food again.

Our christmas meal was delicious. Could not fault the service in any way. The food was yummy and our server Ines went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy throughout. The portions were massive. Definitely great value for money. We have never been out for christmas dinner before and we all had such a great experience that we will definitely come again. The little christmas card on the table was such a cute idea.

We were staying nearby as we were here on a family visit recently, and had our dog with us. We wanted somewhere different to eat, and came here, and wished we had come sooner. The set up in the bar area was so comfortable and relaxed, the staff were amazing and the food was lovely. We were so well looked after by everyone we met and could just switch off and relax for the evening.

Well stocked salad bar, fast friendly service and food was quick and well presented

Ordered takeout. I arrived at the advised time and was told that they needed an additional 10 minutes (no problem, i get that its a busy time of the year). I collected my food and went home. When I started eating the chicken,besides from being touch, it had a burnt flavour to it. I realised what was going on when i flipped it over and had a look at what was on the other side. The fact that the charcoaled side was face down means that they knew they burned it and tried to conceal it in this way. Not good enough.

Popped in for dinner whilst waiting on Halfords working on our car. Served by Aga who was a brilliant host. She was very attentive to our wee girl (18 months) who fell in love with her. Thanks folks. The food was good as well

We went as a family, and there were 12 adults. The lady who served us was amazing. Sorry firgot her name. She was accomidating and helpful, and her customer service was first class. Food was lovely, no complaints at all. Will definitely return.

I came again because I really like this Harvester. Aga was attentive and friendly. From the time we waited at the entrance to the end when we checked the bill, her services were excellent! She recommended choices of fries to us when we didn’t know there were various options, and gave us fresheners when we were cleaning the delicious ribs with our hands… She checked if we were ready for the desserts without disturbing us. Aga is really a professional friendly staff that anyone always to see in a restaurant. The food by Chef Bekka was delicious. The chargrilled skewers of pork belly was yummy and the Gingerbread Sundae was great for any adults who don’t like sugar! Thank you the whole team! We will come again!

Really enjoyed our visit this evening. The service from Martina was fantastic. The attention to detail to look after the member of our party with allergies was second to none. And I can’t forget the food prepared by Bella was great.

Had lunch with my Sister-inlaw, Daughter-inlaw & 2 youngest Granddaughters. Our server was Aga, who was absolutely brilliant. Couldn't fault Aga to say the least, very polite, attentive, pleasant, very happy, always smiling 😊. Chef was Michelle, excellent food 😊, couldn't fault it. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had, some bacon was ever so slightly burnt which made it taste even better, everything was perfectly cooked, the smell/taste of charcoal or grill was noticable and it made it even better. Thank you! 10/10

Thanks to the team back in the summer for accommodating my daughter and I as we made our way up to Fort William. She is autistic and vegetarian and I have IBD (colitis) so need very particular food stuffs. I made the most of the salad bar (very much a repeat visitor) and the team kindly made sure my lunch was gluten free and low fodmap. (Never ask us all round for dinner! We are a nightmare!).

Madison was very helpful friendly and polite. She was very professional and gave attention to detail . She explained how things worked as this was my first experience in this venue

We went with our two young kids , both 3 years old. As soon as we entered Martina greeted us and gave our kids some crayons and paper to draw, she ushered us to a suitable booth and brought us water and stood to chat with us. She was really friendly and welcoming, as we're the other staff members. Food was good too

On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff (Aga), who escorted us to our table. Aga helped us through the numerous added choices to our main meals. When the meals arrived, they were well presented and all 3 meals were flavoursome and of good quality. Overall impressions, professional, cheerful, and helpful staff. The food was good and prices are realistic. Will be back.

Friendly, cheerful, professional service from Martina and her team. Very generous platefuls of tasty food. My rotisserie 1/2 chicken was juicy and delicious. My wife's chicken, bacon and waffles was equally tasty. Between us, we couldn't finish both plates. Great value.

The food and service were par excellence. Our server was named Martina, she was very friendly and beyond exceptional. The service was, by far, the best we have had in all of our restaurant experiences. In conclusion, we highly recommend this tucked-away gem of a restaurant.

We visited this restaurant on the 3rd October 2024. We were served by Martina who was very friendly, polite and attentive to our needs. She is a credit to the Harvester restaurant chain. Our food was prepared by Jamie T and again the food was really tasty. We would recommend this place to anyone.

First day of new menu. Rack of ribs could have had more sauce & coleslaw on mains seemed unnecessary as there are 2 slaw options on salad bar(which was very good). Corn bites were excellent.

This was our first visit to a Harvester in many years, and what an experience! The menu was overwhelming (in a good way!), the food was delicious, and the staff friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Chelsea, the manager who was multitasking all evening with a smile and friendly manner. The verdict is... we're going back tomorrow 😋 P.S. Make sure you try the glazed choux bun. Oh My God, utterly delicious!

Went for lunch on 27th September. What a lovely place with very pleasant staff and the food was well presented.

A much improved Harvester! The diner has been upgraded with decor and furnishings all brightened up. A much nicer ambiance resulting in a better atmosphere for customers and staff. Food was reliable in the past, but the kitchen too has responded to the shake up and lunch was first class. Harvester salad was always a good feature, but this too was top quality; frankly better than mine at home. Welcome back!

I order Too Good To Go from the salad bar and pick it up every Tuesday after work. We are delighted with what we are given from the salad bar, and occasionally we get the rotisserie chicken too which is absolutely delicious. The staff are all very friendly there - very warm and welcoming - and I really appreciate Martina and her smiling face when I see her there each week. Order Too good To Go from there - it's the best! Thank you to all the staff there.

This is a place we come to on a regular basis and the food is always lovely today however I have been left really disappointed and really not happy .my husband and myself came I got breaded mushrooms and my husband got chickengiujins to start the breaded mushroom where really not nice at all , I then asked for chicken with bacon and it said it came with coleslaw and corn and I substituted chips for sweet potato fries the meal came with peas I have a phobia of peas when I asked about it I was told there was no corn and I should have been informed the sweet potato fries where burnt and very crispy so today it wasn’t great

Popped in for lunch as we were in the area. The food was pretty decent without being spectacular. Service was good and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy.

Visited with my fiancée to celebrate our recent engagement. We had a really special experience tonight. We were greeted by the lovely staff and were taken to our seats as soon as we entered. Our server Inês took really good care of both of us tonight, making sure we had everything we needed during our visit and promptly serving us with our food & drinks. We decided to share 5 small plates and the food was absolutely delicious, all piping hot and full or flavour. Before receiving our food we were able to help ourselves to the free salad which was fresh, loads to choose from too. A big thank you also to chef Jamie B who cooked such delicious scran, and to Inês for your bubbly and welcoming service! Such a nice environment, delicious food and yummy cocktails.

Easy parking, friendly staff and reasonably priced food.

We went as an early anniversary treat as it’s our 5 year anniversary this year. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and put our family at ease as soon as we got there. The assistant manager Mary I believe her name was was very friendly with our one year old which helped us out a great deal. The food was great and didn’t take too long to get to us and the restaurant itself was clean and a lot of families were there too. The only thing I could suggest is to have baby friendly. Overall great food, warm atmosphere and would definitely go again

Came here as part of our holiday eating out and about in Edinburgh. Our waitress Madison was an amazing lady, super friendly and helpful, plus her waiting staff colleagues who were so friendly too. The chefs Jamie T & Aga made food that was delicious and very filling. We were stuffed! Great place for food and ambience. My husband and kids loved it too and want to come back!! Food was cold and wrong items delivered asked for no tomatoes or mushrooms etc but got on them top of my eggs disgusting.

Thank you again for a lovely meal, food was great, service was amazing. We were there for my mums birthday and Katrina and Liam made us feel very welcomed and brought out the birthday cake and sang along with no hesitation. You guys are awesome thank you again. 😀. Can't wait to visit again.
