Food was amazing and our server Chris was amazing!!!

Chris was very good helping children with menus and great customer services . 5 year old says you are a great helper. 9 year old says food 10/10 Salad 10000000/10

This place is so nice. Ample food, relaxed atmosphere. I would book a table although one can just turn up.

We went this past Saturday for my sisters 30th birthday for a meal. My mom arrived 20 mins early but the table was not in use so they said she could wait for the rest of the party to arrive. However it took 40 mins for service to even greet us and give us a food menu. My brother in law had to go to the bar in the end to get drinks. They were constantly telling us how much time we had left on the table. It felt very rushed and unprofessional and just rude altogether. Was supposed to be a nice family gathering for a special occasion but the server we had was named Chris and they was so rude and pushy. Food was fine but wouldn't come back just because of the service alone.

Came for breakfast, had classic breakfast with rump steak as an extra. Rump steak wasn’t the best but the rest of the breakfast was good. Chris our waiter was a nice guy, made conversation and was attentive.

Excellent service at lunchtime by Luke. Polite quick service and nothing was too much trouble. Very smiley and pleasant.

Popped in for coffee about 4.15 as most local cafes closed, was pleased to find a level disabled person's entrance from car park. However the bar was two short flights of stairs up above the seating, so an able bodied member of our party had to go to drinks There was a query if the tables we had sat at in that area was booked, I explained we would only be about 30 minutes and that was before the booking so we were allowed to stay. The pub is fabulous inside parts of it go back.to a cottage built in 1600 later extended into a house and then becoming a hostel a hotel and until a few years ago Paybody Eye Hodpital before becoming the Harvester it is today. It was very comfortable, clean. Reasonably priced abd staff were friendly, they offer very good value set meals and the bottomless free salads. Will definitely consider visiting for food next time.

Absolutely brilliant 👏 The guy that served us was a true gentleman. My steak was slightly chewy. I only mentioned it to him. I ate almost all of it. I only mentioned it was slightly chewy, and he knocked it off the bill. I had full intentions of paying. Now that is service 👏 I gave him a £10 tip. Absolutely 💯 brilliant Highly recommend

Visited for my daughters birthday, although the service was great from Abbie, unfortunately we found the food quite lacking this time, presentation wasnt great, i dont actually think it was cooked properly as i was poorly in the evening, and the prices are getting out of hand. I think the menu has become quite boring, and the salad bar is just awful, it's all the same items on both sides and you're lucky if the pots actually have something in them. The salad bar used to have a great variety, and was always full and fresh, now it's the same things, and the ingredients never look fresh . We used to love harvester but I'm now struggling to find reason to visit again...

We had a lovely meal today at the elms in Coventry, no complaints about the food. Service from Luke was outstanding, he was very polite, met all our needs and waited on us until we left. Will definitely return

Charlene was excellent & looked after us really well. Food was very good, as usual, & recommend the Choux Bun as a dessert. I would suggest a 1 way system at the salad bar, though. Got a bit chaotic & messy but it didn't spoil our evening.

Booked for my sons 10th birthday for 9 people. 5 adults and 4 children for 2.30pm. Waitress came to get drinks order, but we didn't receive the drinks till nearly 30 minutes later, I had to ask twice where the drinks were. We received food ordered, but weren't able to have desserts as the table was needed for another group waiting. And we were told that we needed to leave. I have a voucher code for children eat for £1 which i informed Waitress when ordering the meal, Waitress hadn't taken it off and rolled her eyes at me when I stated the bill was wrong. Children were given their deserts that came with the meal, while dirty dinner plates still hadn't been removed. Yes I understand it may have been busy, but for us to be told to leave when we hadn't finished eating is not very good, maybe if the Waitress was a little faster and it didn't taken nearly 40 minutes after sitting down to come and take our food order, we would of been ready on time.

Chris the waiter was really helpful and the food was delicious.

Went for a half-term lunch with my son and husband. Food was good, although my halloumi and corn bread were a little overcooked, and the corn bread needed more hot honey sauce for flavour. The service from Roma was excellent; quick, polite, and helpful.

We went to the elms Harvester today.Our waitress was Abbie, she was attentive and very pleasant, a credit to the company. The food was delicious accompanied by the salad bar, lovely.

Recently visited with a group of 10. The main reason I'm leaving a review is for the fantastic service we received from our server David. We were looked after really well from start to finish, excellent hospitality. Didn't hurt that the food was excellent too! We will come back again.

The food was lovely and served promptly. All staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Our server was brilliant, very friendly and took extra care with my niece who has allergies

First time we have ordered breakfast and it was out for delivery quicker than at other times. However, it had a fair distance to come so wasn't the hottest breakfast but it was very tasty.

Oh dear!! What has happened at the Elms?? Hubby and I went for lunch around 12.45 today. Just inside the door was a queue of at least 10 people waiting to be seated. What a silly place to expect people to wait, the previous system of allowing customers into the bar area would at least allow you to get a drink and sit comfortably while you wait to be escorted to your table. At least 6 customers left, so a loss of business. We would expect to wait if it was the evening or week-end but certainly not on a week day lunchtime. Won`t be returning anytime soon

The food quality consistently meets expectations. However, the salad bar requires attention; during peak hours, its presentation needs improvement. Conversely, our recent dining experiences have been enhanced by Chris's exceptional table service. Really lovely quiet but busy restaurant in a fabulous old mansion. It was busy but tables so spread out you wouldn't know. Excellent value (there are regular offers). Food is always nice, The first time my dish came out it was slightly cold however the server was amazing and got the dish recooked and everything was amazing. I love it every time I come here.

Lovely lunch with my mother. Nothing too much trouble. Everything explained brilliantly and service was excellent. Absolutely fantastic building will definitely be returning soon. Waiting staff are better than experienced at any other venue. They really do go above and beyond.

I went to the restaurant, with my newborn today. The members of the team could not have been more respectful and attentive. Firstly, the lovely girl who greeted us at the door changed our table booking to accommodate the car seat and to give us more space. Secondly, the man who served us (Luke) was so kind, giving us space and time whilst baby was feeding and brought a drink to the table as he could see I would have struggled to re fill my own, whilst holding baby. The restaurant is very friendly, and as a first time mum to a newborn, I was very grateful for their kindness. Thank you.

Went for xmas day lunch with my son. Through circumstances we had to take the earliest time slot. This wasn't ideal, but we made the best of it. The 3 courses were all beautiful, well cooked and well presented. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Overall a very good experience, and would repeat in a heartbeat.

We spent Christmas Day at The Elms Harvester, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, it felt festive and welcoming. The team had really gone all out with the decorations, and the atmosphere was just buzzing with Christmas cheer. The staff were incredible—so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s not always easy working on Christmas Day, but they made us feel like they genuinely wanted to be there. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was topping up drinks, checking we had everything we needed, or just chatting and adding to the lovely vibe. And then there was the food—wow. Every dish was beautifully cooked and served piping hot (which is no small feat on such a busy day!). From the classic roast turkey to the indulgent desserts, everything tasted amazing. You could tell they’d really thought about the details, and the portions were just right—plenty to enjoy without feeling overstuffed. The whole experience felt effortless, but you could see the hard work that went into making it so smooth for everyone. It was such a stress-free way to spend Christmas, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. If you’re considering dining out for Christmas, I can’t recommend The Elms enough. They absolutely nailed it.

We have been to many many places all around the world but never been looked after in the way David treated us. Professional, quick, attentive,and absolutely charming! Please make him a person responsible for the training of the newbies! Food was 100% as always!!!! Thanks The Elms for the night! Came here for a New Years Eve meal with friends and our server Luke was very friendly and attentive. We've always had a good meal here, the handful of times we've been.

Friendly attentive staff, especially Becky who is always lovely and welcoming. Food is served quickly and good most of the time.

Having eaten in quite a lot of different Harvesters, the food and service were good at this one. It could, however, do with a bit of a maintenance ‘refresh’, particularly on the outside, where it looked tired and not well presented.
