Harvester Beech Hurst Haywards Heath in Mid Sussex

Went for breakfast, had a great meal. Service was excellent- we were served by Chloe who was really friendly.

Fantastic breakfast as always, tasty, all very hot and affordable. This has become our regular breakfast spot if we're going out. Amazing top notch service by Chloe, attentive and was ready with another cup of coffee as ours got low, great service!

Chloe was extremely attentive and helpful, making the experience so smooth! Coffees looking cold? Fresh ones served quickly! Food was out fast and despite it being a bit of a busy morning, the service was still exceptional! Thank you so much, Chloe for a fab breakfast x

Excellent service and choice of food

New menu looks great,loved the corn bread, but not the chilli, so will make sure I asked for them not be included. Chips were warm not hot. Mushroom and tomatoes were cold on the steak plate, peas luke warm. Not the best experience this time for us, sadly. Service was good though.

So this evening myself and my family went to beech hurst Harvester. Our server was Cat and she was fantastic! She really engaged with our son and really encouraged him to eat. He’s not a big eater, but she made it into a game which was just lovely. Unfortunately we witnessed a colleague speak to various members of staff very abruptly. I get everyone has bad days but this kind of attitude should not be portrayed in-front of customers and young children. She was extremely unprofessional. Refusing to clear a table and kicked up a right stink about it. I spoke to the manager who assured me that he’d speak to her. After that every-time said waitress saw us she shook her head.

Chloe at the Haywards Heath branch has been lovely and very welcoming. The food was good, came out hot and Chloe offered a great service to our table.

Took nearly 20 minutes for someone too come and get our food and drinks order. When the glasses for our drinks came over I witnessed the server blowing on the glasses as they had just come out the dishwasher and were warm. food finally came after about 40 minutes. Once that was eaten it was over roughly 1/2 hr before we just gave up waiting for the server too come back and remove our plates and offer desserts which were part of the kids menu. Will not be going back there again

Thought is was a harvester that did roast dinner but was mistaken. It was pretty nice food had a rib eye steak and large rosemary and sage chips and beer it was £31. The steak was big and thick and tasty chips. But not cheap but also not massively over priced. The place was quiet for a Saturday around 5pm I thought. Only 5 or 6 groups in a large dinning area. Has a large parking spaces and garden area for kids to play. There is also Beech Hurst garden behind the pub which has a mini train that you can ride on. But is closed at present states temporarily, so not sure when the train will reopen.

Excellent meal at Harvester on Mother’s Day’s. Table was ready when we arrived. Chloe took our order promptly. Despite being busy Chloe repeatedly asked if we needed anything. The quality of the food and the portion size was brilliant. We were a party of 12 and none of us could fault it. Thank you for a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch.

Couldn't fault anything ... being Mothers day I thought there would be a wait but no, service excellent ( Emilia ) checked on us and bought food and drink promptly. New menu, flat breads were amazing and Mega burger delicious.

Not been for ages as the one vegan option gets boring but saw they had vegan chicken tacos. The 'chicken' was rock hard, totally dried out. There was a one hour wait for the food and waitress forgot the drinks. They were super busy so it's to be expected, but paying for barely there, dry filling felt a bit robbed!

Was a very busy place with lots of families and children. Food was decent. Our server Emilia was clearly very busy and no doubt stressed at times but she did it all with a smile on her face.

Lovely food and great service by Kalina, fantastic all round

A fantastic harvester in the lovely location of beech Hurst. Especially great for families with all the park has to offer. I hadn't been to a harvester in ages, so the food was a real surprise. The portions were very generous, and what I had was both delicious and perfectly cooked. I went for the pork belly and chorizo skewer and an additional halloumi skewer, both with hot honey sauce. Oh my, how delicious! The sage and onion chips were a little underwhelming, I couldn't really taste the seasoning, so I'd probably go for sweet potato ones next time. The tropical cooler drink was lush. Standard salad bar, well topped up and all looked fresh. Our server was lovely, please pass on we thought she was great. Will definitely return. Also very easy to park.

I’m not someone who complains and usually wouldn’t bother, but easily the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had in every way possible to be honest. Treated like we were trying to get something for free after mentioning to staff the potato was like a rock, ‘I’ll pass it on but I don’t know what you’ll get’ then took ourselves to go pay after the miserable staff dumped a dessert menu down on our table and who I can only assume was the manager handed us our bill and waited for us to pay in silence. No surprise it’s practically empty with more staff than customers. Very unwelcoming from start to finish.

We had a very lovely waitress named Cheryl. She was very friendly and brought everything to us in a good time. We had the Pork belly and the battered halloumi both of which was very good!

Came for lunch in the February half term when kids eat for a £1. The restaurant was packed but the service from Cheryl was brilliant. I’d like to say thanks to Leigh, Kiean and Lewis for cooking our food, it was delicious and couldn’t fault it!

Popped in on the off chance as we were in the area. Firstly, Chloe welcomed us in and immediately was very warm. Led us to a table and took our order. Whilst waiting for the food to come, she made us toast and brought us our drinks. The food then came and it was absolutely fantastic! The price was amazing as well. Paul the chef made us very happy that morning with what he delivered - highly recommended. Also a big thank you to Chloe for nothing being too much trouble and for checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything… Brilliant service!! When in the area, we’ll be sure to return.

Our waitress, Christina, was excellent and the food was delicious. The only reason I have taken off a star for service was because she seemed to be one of the only waitresses that evening so had the occasional wait. Very friendly staff.

Came here for a big family lunch. They put us on a great table and Christina served us. She was so accommodating and friendly and patient as some of us were too busy chatting to look at the menu! The food was amazing and our chefs were Sophie, Kieran and Ross. We had a really nice time and stayed for ages chatting after the meal.
