I’ve been obsessed with the frozen matcha tea without bubbles! I got one today that tasted different. I took a couple more sips and realized the dairy was sour. I turned around and went back through drive thru and explained what happened. They made me a new one, only for it to taste the same. I was disappointed after looking forward to this. I gave up and got to work to find out they gave me the wrong sandwich as well. I had ordered the ham and cheese croissant but instead got a ham egg and cheese biscuit. Which would be fine but I’m allergic to egg :(( staff seemed annoyed with me and I already hate asking for new items to be made. Won’t be visiting this location for a while unfortunately. Hope to get a refund since I can’t have anything from my order.

One of the Caribou coffee places in town, with the Worst customer service. (Used to be one of the best; but not anymore!) On the drive thru had to wait 15+min for a couple of sandwiches. Inside, had to wait for someone to take the order for more than 10plus min, coz one customer in front had some payment issues, and no one else would come and take the order for the person behind! Had to leave without placing an order. Go prepared for a long Wait at times! Update: 9/3/24 (upgrading to 4*) The staff are much better than they used to be, on the original review. Wait times are much much less. Courteous and friendly. Please keep up the great work. Thank you! (Actually the former farmhouse bagel is called the Lumberjack; pretty filling and delicious)

Great coffee, terrible bagels, dismissive service. Caribou coffee has always been my go to. Reindeer blend is something i look forward to each autumn. I stopped at the London rd location for a coffee and a bagel. The bagel was under cooked and very doughy. The person who gave me the bagel shouted out my order and dropped the bag on the counter as she walked away. No ‘thank you’ or ‘have a nice day.’ No real reason to go back.

Ordered ahead with a modified drink, drink came out perfectly and was ready when I got there, and I got the drink free from the rewards program.

Went in to have an afternoon iced coffee and bagel. Ordered two iced coffees one regular and one with almond milk. Ordered a plain toasted bagel with butter was told this site no longer carries butter, peanut butter, or jelly. Only thing available is cream cheese. Decided to not have the bagel as did not want cream cheese. When iced coffee order was ready went to pick up line and there were 3 iced coffees not labeled. Asked the barista which one was the one with almond milk and the barista didn’t know. Barista stated that order was called out when put on counter. Not helpful when there are 3 iced coffees that I wasn’t sure which ones were part of my 2 coffee order. Table was wet and dirty. No toilet paper in one of the bathrooms. Usually a happy place to go but seemed like an off day today for everyone working.

Reliable coffee drinks. Staff seemed rushed and it was hard keeping all the drinks straight because they look similar, they don’t use names, and no labels. I noticed a timer on the wall that was tracking orders to serving times, which seemed to make it a point of stress for staff

The egg bacon bagel breakfast sandwich I had was terrible- it was all bagel- 1 piece of bacon and the smallest egg imaginable... Won't be ording this again, although the other options don't really cut it either😕 maybe McDonald's next time....

Stopped in this morning before work for an end of week coffee treat. Drive thru was super busy, and the parking lot does NOT have good traffic flow (though that is zero fault of Caribou, that's on the developers of the strip Caribou is currently in) so I decided to stop into the lobby to order and pick up my coffee. Three people in front of me when I got there, and roughly 3-4 people behind me in line. I order my coffee and wait, knowing it'll take a little longer than normal since it's a Friday morning, the drive thru is packed, some people are coming in the lobby, and mobile orders are mobile orders. What I wasn't expecting was for the people who ordered after me to get their coffee before me, the lobby to fully clear out, and the drive thru to nearly empty.... and I still didn't have my coffee. After waiting for roughly 25 minutes (keeping my eye on the clock as I was texting my boss since I was now quite late for work), the employee who rang me up approaches me and asked me what I had ordered. She then looked at the order screens, and back to me saying "I don't know what happened, but your order isn't here... I'll make it right now". Two minutes later I finally had my medium iced vanilla latte (objectively a very easy drink to make due to it's popularity). No offer of a size up, small bakery item, or refund for the near 30 minute wait on one coffee. Just a quick "Sorry about that" as my drink was handed to me. I left frustrated, but unwilling to stay any longer to speak to someone as I was over 20 minutes late to work at that point. As someone who has worked in the food service industry for years (pre-pandemic, but still) I fully get it that sometimes it's super busy and things can take a while. I usually don't start to get impatient until it's been about 15-20 minutes when it's supposed to take less than 5. However 25 minutes of making eye contact with employees while they're moving at a speed with zero urgency while it's busy, and waiting for the bulk of busy to subside before anyone asks me about why I'm still waiting/what I ordered is utterly ridiculous. I've had amazing service at this location before while it was busy like it was this morning, but today was not a good service day in the slightest.

No longer putting cream cheese on bagels for consistency sake??? Makes it difficult to enjoy a bagel and coffee on the road. It is also a waste environmentally to now have more plastic to be rid of. Rethinking my Caribou loyalty.

Yum, yum, yum… just made another stop to grab one of my favs a Nitro Highrise with oatmilk instead (got oatmilk right my whimpy GI is happy). Also went for something new to me and grabbed the Bacon Egg & Cheese sandwich made on a bagel and O I have been really missing out For new/traveling this one gets pretty full in the drive-threw and can block up entrance and parking spots near it during tourist season (more likely summer).

All the Baristas are really awesome and friendly. I usually get a frozen cookies and cream and it's just always been the best drink I've ever had from a chain coffee store.

So the coffee and food were great. Everything was correct and fresh - no complaints there. The reason for 2 stars is because of a single employee who spoiled the milk in my coffee with how SOUR she was. Two days in a row this employee was unnecessarily rude to us. I don’t understand why she would choose a job that involves helping customers if that seems to be exactly what she detests. Overall, this Caribou is great….but Jackie is not.

We stopped in on our way up the North Shore. It was really busy. We ordered 5 drinks and 3 breakfast sandwiches. The service was excellent, great drinks and food. Beautiful setting.

Great coffee and food. Located with views of Lake Superior. Cherzo wrap is very tasty and filling. Raspberry scones and blueberry muffin on my favorite list. Great coffee and great service from staff. If you have time stop in and enjoy the WiFi great food and great coffee.

Love this place! Super wide variety of drinks. Great breakfast options too! I have never had a bad experience here. Drive through line can be long in the mornings (what are you expecting though? It IS a coffee shop!) so I prefer going inside to order. There drinks taste suuper good. Great prices too! Super sweet workers. I would recommend coming here!

I love this location! It’s right next to Lake Superior, so you can take your coffee and head out onto the patio and look out over the lake. Really nice staff here and good coffee!

Parking was difficult due to time of day and people not knowing how to drive properly. Service was quick and coffee was great.

Good coffee, good treats. Usually very busy drive-thru. If you get bagels in bulk here, count them before you leave. Their "dozen" price is supposed to be for a baker's dozen (13), but quite often they only actually give you 12 unless you call them on it, even if you specifically ask for 13 when you order.

A ridiculously busy location for both inside and drive through. Speedy service combined with a great view of the lake on the patio make it an easy suggestion for your caffeine fix

I always enjoy going to the drive-through here when I travel they are quick and friendly despite how super busy it always is in the drive-through line very good service!

Had a great experience, the friendly staff treated me with nothing but respect and the bagel I got was fantastic. I'm blown away by the variety of bagels and cream cheeses that they offer (had to be over 10 varieties) would definitely recommend this over starbucks. This location also is a great place to get some work done if you need a quiet place to get away. 10/10 will be back again

I like Caribou Coffee, but this one is special because of its deck that offers a pretty good view of lake Superior.

Worst experience ever. I ordered a bacon, egg & chs bagel, and two chocolate donuts in drive threw. The bacon was under cooked & very rubbery/stringy looking. I didn't eat it even though it was expensive! And the worst part was the two donuts were thrown in the bag barely covered by a single sheet of thin parchment paper in between them, mostly exposed in the bag and of course smashed & melted because they were both under the sandwich at the bottom. I will never go back here again.

Went through the drive thru and ordered a chai latte with almondmilk. Had a tiffle with the gal because we couldn't hear eachother through the speaker. Then when I recieved my drink it tasted like either sour milk was used or too much chai was used. Very disappointed.

I generally don't go into public restrooms, but this one time I did. This was a clean and neat restroom, and I nearly dookied my pants. Thanks for the save:)

I love this caribou, the drinks are always made just how I like and the team is always super kind and patient with me or whoever is with me. I spend a little too much money here but it’s definitely worth it. I know people usually write reviews to complain but this place deserves 5 stars!!!❤️

Coffee was good, pastry was stale. I took my covid mask off for a second to taste my Coffee to see if It needed any sugar, as soon as I did the girl behind the counter gave me a hard time. I explained I was just tasting my coffee and was already putting it back on. She said she didn't care. There are a lot of coffee shops in the area. I will pick another one sometime

I've never answered a ¿ Correct for a discount.... Well I never go there... or drink coffee, so im like 0-3... but the coffee drink thing I had was fantastic.

I used to come here every time I came to Duluth, which is about 2-3 times a year. Today I asked for a bagel sandwich with schmear which I get every time, and they said they refused to modify the order and add schmear. Which is fine in itself.. it’s COVID, whatever. But they told me they could put a little on the side for me to add with a knife. When we pulled up they charged me for an entire 6 oz tub of cream cheese (and also gave me no knife.) I feel like they were really deceptive in upselling this way. I’m not from Duluth and don’t have a hotel so this is going to go bad in my car. Way to be. This is my second negative experience in a row, I’m not sure if there is new management, but I’m not sure I want to come back anymore.

Their new menu that corporate is evidently testing is much more limited. I tried to order and egg and cheese bagel sandwich on my way to work. Apparently they only make the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Annoying but i whatever. As soon as i open it up, the egg is probably about 50% less then what is normally offered before the menu change. Fix it Caribou corporate, you guys have been in a nose dive for the past year.

Ordered a couple overpriced bagel sandwiches thinking they would be fresh made considering it’s a bagel shop, they were microwaved frozen sandwiches and were hard and inedible. The cheese was grayish and like hard bubble gum. Would NEVER get food there again!

Menu has changed a little and had a poor experience last trip with a missing sandwich. Also, eggs were runny in wrap as well. Quality of sandwiches have decreased. Use to be far superior to alternatives.

I love the beverage options and the food is good too! However the drive through was poorly equipped to form a line longer than about 4 to 5 cars. Meaning it blocks customers from parking in front of other businesses and a very narrow place for cars waiting in line to order from Coffee & Bagels.

Inconsistent. Some days your drink is good, some days it doesn’t. Some days you pay 6 bucks for a good drink only to find it tastes like drip coffee. Some days it’s the best drink ever.

Pulling up through drive through and you couldn’t hear anything the lady was saying because she was mumbling. I asked for one iced mocha, a smoothie and 2 bagels. I received one HOT mocha, a wrong flavor smoothie and not bagels. I asked for the bagels and the cashier said “we didn’t get it on there it will be...” I tried to ask for the drink I ordered but there was a line of vehicles behind me and they started to close the window...not cool.

Good spot to sit with coffee and a bagel. Lots of seating makes for a great spot to get some work done. The drive-thru is always busy and kind of a nightmare, definitely recommend just going inside and ordering.

I love the drinks, I need to try the bakery and bagels next time.

EDIT: This local Caribou just told me coffee refills are free even if ordering an espesso drink. Confused not because Caribou customer service (on Facebook) addressed this, saying their new policy is NO COFFEE REFILLS unless just ordering a plain coffee. No coffee refill if buying anything else like an expensive cafe latte (makes no sense to me, but oh well). This is new. I guess corporate needs to increase profits by charging more and giving less. I have been going to Caribou Coffee for 20+ years and free coffee refills when buying a cafe latte were the policy, and this was confirmed twice with replies from Caribou customer service though I have since deleted those emails. I respect Caribou's new policy, but I will no longer be buying any more expensive drinks from Caribou-- I will just buy a plain cheaper coffee, or go to Starbucks where plain coffee refills are free when I first buy a cafe latte. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRO: nice view of the lake, friendly baristas, great coffee and lattes CON: some baristas, and even the manager one time, seem to have conflicting information on free coffee refills even after ordering a hot latte; corporate ('contact us') has always clarified that coffee refills are free even after buying a hot latte instead of a plain coffee, but sometimes I am told that a coffee refill is only free if you bought a coffee, not when you buy a latte; I never encounter this confusion when I visit StarBucks.
