No complaints here. Service and Geraldine was absolutely flying about... Cleaning then bringing food out and then taking payment..... It did look like a bit much for the staff but they did a good job. Food was very good, my peri peri chicken skewers were very good, not too spicy but extremely filling. Chips were decent too which makes a change these days. The skewers had peppers and white onions on and had a bit of a crunch. The salad bar beforehand was fresh and varied in choice but the bread rolls are certainly not what they use to serve in a Harvester... I remember they were always warm and so fresh in taste.... These were not. Overall very good and I wouldn't hesitate to return... Good value for money too.

Place is filthy, mens toilet shocking,food all over the floor and food not very hot.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the service but the food was so sub par, for the cost you get next to nothing and it's really poor quality. Hate complaining about food but that was a genuine waste of 40 pounds.

Had a good meal, our server Gee was very helpful.

We had an enjoyable breakfast and coffee. Service was fine although we were warned we would have a little wait for breakfast as they had received a large order just prior to us arriving. The atmosphere on a dank, misty October morning with only us eating in the dining area was a bit flat but that wasn't particularly the fault of the restaurant.

The waitress was superb, can’t remember her name but she was running around everywhere accommodating all her customers. We sat in the top part of the restaurant where you enter and to the left. She was non stop attending tables. The food was good, I had rack of ribs. The downside was the salad bar, looking very tired with empty trays.

We recently had a team meal at Harvester, and it was a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our wonderful waitress, Geraldine. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. Geraldine was attentive throughout the lunch, making sure our drinks were topped up and that everyone’s order was just right. The food itself was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, and our mains arrived promptly and perfectly cooked. Geraldine handled our large group with ease, keeping things organized and ensuring that even special requests were accommodated without any issues. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, and her upbeat attitude really added to the overall atmosphere of the meal. We all left feeling very well looked after and thoroughly satisfied. Overall, a big thank you to Geraldine and the team at Harvester for making our team meal such a positive experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

Went for breakfast this morning and it was great. Generous portions, tasty food and really friendly service from Tehya our waitress. Will be back.

Pretty disappointed with the order. Instead of showing the half chicken wasn’t available they let me order it, then called me stating it’s unavailable. So instead I got fries and three southern fried chicken. I paid £18 odd and didn’t even get my money’s worth. I understand paying more for half a chicken because of the size. But for what I got it wasn’t £18 worth. Might as well order from KFC for less money. Pretty disorganised with availability and puts me off ordering from here again.

Had a delicious lunch last Thursday using an offer received by email. Melanie was our server. Polite friendly and helpful when the voucher code didn’t work. Sorted with a smile.

Sunday 5pm 080924. No problem parking, fair sized car park. Geraldine was our server and she was absolutely brilliant. Welcoming, knowledgeable, fun, but still professional and boy did she have a lot of covers to host. We had breaded mushrooms for starters. Visited salad bar which was looking a little tired in terms of some of the offerings, especially the coleslaw. No thousand island dressing, they'd run out completely. Only one bread plate, so guessing it had been a busy day. Sirloin for us both, requested medium and it was perfect. I had a very weird Rocky Road Sundae, a big lump of chocolate sponge with ice cream on top, cherry, cream and chocolate bits with a wafer cone? on top. Hubby's treacle sponge and ice cream was great. Geraldine you did us proud, here's to that big birthday and the motorhome. X

Both myself and my wife ate here and it made both of us ill. I made a complaint but just got a response that it could not be their food. We have been going to this restaurant for years but we will not be returning!

No aircon, no soap in the gents, table outside were uninviting to sit and w joy a drink after the hot room team inside, , staff were amazing and that's about it

Booked a table tonight & food / service was excellent. It’s clear all staff work very hard meeting customers needs and are a credit to the business. I have eaten here several times and it’s always consistent, well done to all staff.

A very attentive member of the team, showed us to our table, order for drinks taken, and food order shortly after. Food was very good and the sweets were delicious. Our waiter did an excellent job, very professional. We left happy.

Our server was Kamile and she made us welcome from the start. She enquired with the chefs on requests some of us had. All the drinks and food came at the same time, so that no one had to wait.

Worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant and not cheap either!! Tasteless ribs with hardly any meat on them. Over cooked and tasteless rice and the corn was literally “soggy”!!! Won’t be going there ever again or any other Harvester if thats what they churn out. Would not recommend it to anyone.

We visited for my birthday. We were dissatisfied. We ordered a children's menu for two children and ribs with a side dish for my husband and me - the mashed potatoes were cold, the ribs were dry. Drinks were served very late, and juice for children and cocktails for adults.

A few of us work over the road from the Harvester Alwalton and often go in for a pub lunch or drink. All of the staff are fantastic and so friendly. Today we saw Melanie who is always so welcoming, its like having a chat with a friend you haven't seen in a while every time we go in. The food is great and always nice and quick to come out. Keep it up guys, you're all great!

Food was lovely, however my Mums chicken was very overcooked but Geraldine took it straight back and brought us another one out very quickly. Great service from her.

Fantastic meal out just the 2 of us! The chicken goujons and nachos were really nice then the chicken skewers for mains were incredible! I opted for the extra skewer which was a nice touch for big eaters like me! Cooked to perfection, juicy and tender chicken all nice and hot! Now....the service! Absolutely amazed with the level of service we received from a very polite young lady. Everything was on point from timings to drink refills! exceptional customer service! The management should be extremely proud!

Food was good, no complaints. The staff were great considering they were struggling, because there wasn't enough of them. Not fair on the staff and they did their best to cope. Mitchell's and Butlers please look after your staff, they deserve better than to struggle through their shifts. Thank you to the working staff, we appreciated your effort. Left 20% tip, they earned it.

Fantastic service provided by Tehya for dinner and breakfast, even when she was extremely busy. Charelle was also fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. Anything she wasn't sure of, she checked and let us know.

A great restaurant with excellent service and tasty food. The buffet bar salad was fresh and topped up regularly and all options available. Waiting staff were polite and very familiar with menu questions we had. Food was prepared swiftly and was delicious. We had chargrilled chicken and buckwheat super salad bowls. Followed by Sunday best desert. The restaurant could do with a revamp as quite tired now but still a great choice. Will be back.

Really nice restaurant, good service even though it was busy (Thank you Tehya!), salad bar was really good, Original combo: quarter chicken was quite small but with salad and chips it was fine. Restaurant clean. Good all round.

Food was good as always. Service was awful. Waited a while to be served, then waited a long time for drinks (dinner arrived before drinks), when drinks did arrive server put them on the edge of the table then walked away rather than serving them properly.

Was a corporate team social lunch. Our visit was amazing. We sent a pre order of food to ensure food was ready on time for everyone. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by Natalie and she seated us at our table, which was set up perfectly. Drinks orders were taken and i was always there to help assisted for anyone late. They always reached out to me if there were any problems and tailored their service to our needs. The food was amazing and all brought out at the same time. We had a few people with allergies and Natalie and the team were very helpful and adhering to their needs. One person arrived slightly late but the food was delivered on time for their arrival. The team came to check on us to ensure the food was right for everyone. We all had a really nice time at Harvester! I also asked for birthday desserts and they arrived on time but we had to leave to get back to a work meeting on time. Thus they packed all desserts for us. Payment process was again a personalised service. They allowed us to spilt payments and provided all the receipts I required. Cannot thank you Natalie and the team enough for their service on the day. It was brilliant!

Very friendly and helpful staff , the food was really tasty . Excellent value for miney set meal . The salad bar is a really good way of personalising your meal. Will certainly visit again. Well , today , 11/07/24 we did visit again, if anything the food was even better, hot , tasty and plentiful. The young lady looking after us was , Geraldine, got her name this time. She is gold dust . Helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble . My wife and I were so impressed with her . She was so busy looking after everyone whilst we were there, such an outstanding hard worker. Looking forward to our next visit.
