we had a lovely game of tennis on the artifical clay courts, followed by a great lunch. You can't beat that!

Great place to socialise at with friends. The board and staff have had a traumatic past year to deal with as has most of the hospitality sector. They have carried on regardless, despite lengthy periods of enforced lockdowns, ensuring members safety and abiding by Government guidelines. They are now welcoming back all members and friends with their normal professionalism, endeavour and good humour. Well done the Chairman, the board, Steve, Cath and the team - It’s good to be back.

Went to a funeral Reception, staff were very friendly and plenty of staff on duty

Once again popped in for a quiet lunch with my partner, cheese salad was huge and my Cumberland sausage was delicious. In the past we have had the jacket potatoes and they are equally delicious. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the whole experience is a joy.

Despite the average rating I seem to keep coming back here....others in the family I think find it homely. The place is welcoming and the staff friendly, however I can't get too excited about the food...very pub grub, in a home cooked kind of way. I'll qualify the above and say the portion sizes are generous and the price reasonable.

Been a 'social' member here for nearly a year. Cannot fault the facilities and service provided. An excellent place to relax and enjoy a drink and meal with family and fiends. Not used the sports facilities but they look to be of a good standard. Regular events and entertainment. Fees to join but they are soon recouped with the discounted prices on drinks and food.

Didn't get a real chance to experience the place as I was there to cricket umpire.

Annual Golf Dinner for 23 people in our own private room. Food great, service great and price great

Had been let down elsewhere for our annual golf society dinner but a member of this club made enquiries and they stepped into the breech. We had 23 people and the club provided a varied menu so there was plenty of choice. We had a nice room with bar access and mine host, Steve, did us proud. Food was great, staff were great and price was very reasonable. we shall return

Nice place for a party hire separate bar and ample parking

A friendly, well run club offering a wide range of sports facilities plus a comfortable bar and small function room. The bar serves a good range of drinks, including regular and 'guest' ales, and excellent food. The club also has an active social calendar, which includes live music, themed food evenings and seasonal celebrations.
