Very good fish and chips just eye wateringly expensive these days. Prices have not come down in line with energy prices the way they went up. Just shy of £40 for 3 regular fish and chips and cash only hmmm.

The chips here are gross, don't bother with them. You'll be provided with reasonable service after trying to translate your order to the staff followed by a long wait regardless what you order. 25min wait for a burger and battered sausage is mental?!

VERY expensive and they are CASH ONLY. I cannot remember the last time I was sent to a cash point to get cash by a shop. It is as though they are actively discouraging people from buying from them. Haddock and chips, kids sausage and chips, pie no chips and 2 cans of coke = £34 !!!!

Absolutely disgusting..... over cooked fish.... chips like razor blades..... over priced muck!

Reasonable fish and chips but I'm very suspicious of businesses that only take cash. Why put customers through the inconvenience of having to withdraw cash when everybody takes card payments nowadays. When I queried this in the shop I was told I could order online, which incidentally adds 0.75p for admin!. Very poor customer service. They've lost my regular custom and I won't be returning.

Ordered 2 large cod and 1 regular chips on-line and I collected it within 10 mins. The cod was generously sized and excellent quality decent sized flakes of fish, with freshly cooked chips. Best we've had for a long time.

Harry's Fish Bar provides good value for money, with decent sized portions of fish and chips, neither of which are dripping in grease, and with lovely crispy batter on the fish. It is worth noting that they only take cash payments. The only small downside to Harry's is that we've discovered that when we've ordered from them previously that by the time the food arrives, that whilst the fish is still hot, the chips would be cold. This may not be helped by the fact I've observed orders being boxed up and then kept on top of the fryers whilst awaiting pick up by the delivery driver.

Cod bites and chips, massive portion and very nice. Service was a bit slow but better than my last visit. Not particularly friendly just the bog standard.

I went there and bought a burger,it tasted a bit strange but I ate it anyway. Woke up the next morning throwing up multiple times went in to collect a refund and the manager tells me that I can’t get a refund because I don’t have a hospital note or a doctors note, and proceeded to say that the batch of burgers is fine, but obviously in the preparation of making my burger maybe some cross contamination has happened, and nobody goes to the doctors or a and e for a little bit of food poisoning so I did not receive a refund. Will not be returning

Haddock was slimy, full of bones and just not fresh. Chips had definitely been sitting around for a while. They were cold, chewy and we ended up leaving most of them. Expensive too and they don’t take card. A tax dodge no doubt. Anyway, won’t be returning in a hurry.

Good fish and chips, always a good amount of chips no matter what size you buy. As I normally have Plaice, it's always cooked fresh. Never a bad meal from here. If you order online to collect and pay in store, be careful of the service fee. It's caught us out a couple of times. Although the staff are good about it if there is a problem.

Just accept card payments.. it's 2023! Yes I know you have got to pay the correct amount of tax when you do that, but that's life and how the whole world goes around. Don't blatantly lie to me and tell me that the machine is broken... fish and chips were 👍

We've continually ordered through Harry's. Always out of this world fish and chips, speedy delivery and piping hot. We won't order from anywhere else!

It's a great place with fresh food always . Chips are cooked when needed . Not sat around for hrs like some others highly recommend... The downside to this place is they only want cash, don't like using a card machine as it cost to much . That does put me off enough to go else were sometimes

Expensive but good food. The fish was pre-cooked rather than being cooked to order which is never the best sign, but on this occasion it did taste fresh. Nicely cooked cod with crisp batter, and the chips were fairly crisp and not greasy. Regular cod, regular chips (they don’t do smalls) and mushy peas cost £12.60 which is the most expensive fish and chips I have ever bought! The same meal costs £2-3 less at all of the other local fish and chip shops I have tried. The portion sizes were pretty good though. The shop only accepts cash. We all know that businesses which are cash only in this day and age generally do so to avoid paying tax and I would normally have no problem with this as it helps to keep the prices down - but that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case here!

Tonight Harry's supported our harvest supper by supplying 77 dinners at short notice. Everyone loved the food it was pipping hot, would definitely recommend them for home delivery and functions.

Been using Harry's for a long time now but after last night's meal will be the last.After walking into the shop it smelt like a public toilet I should a known it was going to be a bad meal and I was right food it was awful and my son was ill all night,Staff also not very polite.Will not be using again back to Lee's on the A30 from now on.

I just had a superb fish and chip dinner from Harry’s, the fish was beautiful, the batter crispy and melted in the mouth, and the chips were superb. The service was so fast I hadn’t even received an email acknowledging my order! Great service, great food, the best for miles and very reasonably priced. Will highly recommend.

Price and delivery were spot on, was piping hot when it arrived. However I was let down when we opened the boxes, we both ordered cod bites and chips, the batter was soggy and most of the chips were brown or discoloured, nothing like what was advertised on the flyer that made us order from them

Service without a smile or attention. Small chips = 10 cold chips. Got home, wrong burger and missing portion of chips. Luke warm poor quality and overall massively disappointing.Wont be returning.

Update (15/04/2022) from a year ago: Still the same super review as original below. Plus, eco-friendly recyclable packaging. Delivery on time or early (as stated in confirmation email) and delivery instructions followed. *************************************************************************** Best fish & chip takeaway and/or delivery in the area. The fish batter is incredible - light and crispy with no stodgy gunk underneath! Best (and cheapest) to order from their own website. I highly recommend.

Read good things about this place so I thought I'd give it a try on a Saturday lunchtime. I wish I hadn't bothered. Undercooked chips and a cold saveloy that tasted like rubber. I'll stick to Kim's in Frimley High Street in future!

Good portions however overpriced in my opinion. Ordered online and collected as just up the road, menu not clear, ended up with 1portion of chips between 4 of us.

The food is very nice but a smile wouldn't go a miss from the staff when ordering. Appreciation and politeness costs nothing. So for that reason although the food is nice they're only getting a 3. Would've been a full on 5 if the in store vibe was more like it should be.

Paid £8 for battered Cod, it was all batter with hardly any cod inside. Disappointing after having high expectations from good reviews.

Great job guys! The owner was there and a young lady served us. Very polite and efficient. The chips and extras were hot, crispy and del ious not greasy or oily. Would highly recommend!!

Had a craving for a meat pie, got chips too. The girl who served Me seemed very moody and when I asked if there was a very small portion chips, I was told "just small." I asked for S&V . The chips were tasteless so clearly not much went on! They were old and not hot. Not soggy, just limp. It was only 5pm The pie was clearly microwaved for too long as the "pastry " was rubbery and not fresh at all. Even the meat inside was overcooked. Will definitely not be rushing back!!

Great value and good portion sizes. The food here is always good, hot and fresh. Even the takeaway boxes are designed to be easy to fold up and recycle.

I had visited Harry's Fish Bar recently. My order was a Fish and Chips. The service was quite quick and the quality of the Cod Fish was excellent. It was a very nice filling meal and the fish was quite crispy and tasty. The person who took my ordered my order and served was very friendly and he explained to me the menu so well that I understood what I wanted to have. I will surely recommend this place for all Fish and Chips lovers. Thanks.

We had our first delivery from Harrys tonight. I have to say it was the best Cod and chips I have eaten. The portions were great and the food was piping hot and cooked to perfection. Thanks !!!

Tried ordering via Just Eat, several orders food cold & soggy. Thought we would give it a go ordering directly... guess what... cold & soggy, not only that, actually got the privilege of paying for delivery this time & waiting over 1 hr 30 mins!

We have been using various places to get take away over the past several weeks and I can say that Harry's Fish Bar is the best for Fish and chips takeaway by far. Amazing food and fair value for money keep up the good work guys.

Having lived in London where fish and chip shops were great and having lived in Sandhurst now for ten years, I can honestly say I've finally found a fantastic fish and chip shop. Fish brilliant light batter, chips firm and not soggy. Will be using again, would highly recommend
