Harry's Dolce Vita in Kensington and Chelsea

A classic Italian atmosphere. Busy and vibrant. The food is excellent and so is the service. Try the courgette flowers as a starter. A friend enjoyed trying some of mine so much that she had it as a side with her main.

Very nice place for lunch, food was very good. Bit pricey but good.

We visited today and were greeted by disorganised waiters who we struggled to get the attention of. There were a lot of them walking around but only one was allowed to serve us and he was a bit distracted. Food was good. The worst thing, and why I am writing this review, was the ladies toilets. One was “out of service” and the other was full to the brim with horribles.

In general, the restaurant is beautiful and delicious, and it is important that you try the desserts for the mushroom luncheon Prices are average for two people, approximately 110 pounds

We were shopping in harrods and chose Harry's over the grill which is our fav a friend who was with us said let's go Harry's as we went in got a table order 2 starters Truffle pasta was more like truffle sauce in cheap noodles. Fried chicken was dry Sea bass was dry no sauce at all Dry seabass on a bed of courgettes We paid half cash half card and waiter actually followed us out thinking we running away without paying the full bill Only till he came out and embarrassed him self realising we did pay the full bill Not a good experience at all

Very good atmosphere and good food. The only thing services are doing in a rush. But rest is Ok.

Great service, we were seated straight away despite arriving 20 minutes early prior to our reservation. The food wasn’t up to our standards and appeared to be sub-par compared to other Italian’s however I cannot fault the customer service, not sure whether we would visit again though as it wasn’t worth the price.

I came here for dinner with my family to celebrate my birthday. The waiter practically ignored us all evening. He never asked about our meal all evening. Regrettably the ribeye steak was awful. I had asked for it to be cooked medium rare. It instead arrived burnt and overcooked. It seems they don't care as every review about the ribeye has been the same as mine. It's just unfortunate I read the review too late.

Nice location near Harrods and restaurant decoration but staff were very snooty indeed on both the initial welcome and the servers. Risotto main course was cold and tasteless, served on a cold plate, and the seafood pasta had very little seafood in it. Would have expected more from the location and customers who would use this restaurant.

Genuinely the worst ever dining experience of my life. I went to Harry’s alone to experience the food that is so raved about. I was firstly given the wrong meal but I told the waitress it was okay, the pasta was awful, cold, bland and not worth the money. I allowed the waitress to choose my drink as she was adamant it was nice and refreshing- it was overpoweringly sweet. I tried my best to eat it as I’m not one to complain, however what really ruin the dining experience was the fact that I was seated next to a couple who were clearly talking about me being a Muslim hijabi and saying the most Islamophobic thing's. This couple then started arguing extremely loudly and then picking a fight with another table, I was quite scared as I was alone and it was quite late in the evening so I then asked to be seated elsewhere. I was placed between 2 tight tables where I could hear everything that was being said on both tables and genuinely could not enjoy my food. I had to leave and left my entire meal, as it was cold and I was so put off by the environment. The waitress took my money and knew I was quite upset as she did ask me if I’m okay, I did tell her I didn’t like the food and it was cold but she just said “ah im sorry maybe next time try something else”. I was very disappointed with this entire experience and have since contacted Harry’s multiple times to request a refund with no replies back. Genuinely the worst customer service from a restaurant that’s meant to be renowned. Avoid at all costs :/

Our first time at Dolce Vita was absolutely fantastic. Lovely and authentic atmosphere and food at great prices and with amazing flavors. Additionally, my partner and I had the pleasure of being served by the fantastic George, who not only brought delightful and good humor but also provided some fantastic recommendations for both food and drinks. A huge recommendation for Dolce Vita if you are in London. And if you are lucky, you get to meet the enchanting George.

Overall the experience was okay but the main courses lacked flavour. The Tagliolini Al granchio was & bolognese was watery. The highlight of it all was the mushroom dessert definitely recommend.

Harry’s Dolce Vita has a wonderful atmosphere, both cosy and intimate, great for meals with friends or a partner. We were particularly impressed by George. He radiated the most kind, jolly and helpful energy and that in itself is an understatement. We have never had an experience with a server like we did with George, nor even close! He is absolutely fantastic and made the experience 20x better. Thank you George for your hospitality and for making me want to visit again soon!

What an experience dining here! The Food was really good but what made our day was George’s amazing and friendly service! His attention to detail and his smile throughout the service was outstanding! That is Greek hospitality!! Wish there would be more people in hospitality with George's friendliness, attention to detail and culinary knowledge!

The ambience was amazing. We tried the truffle pasta which was really good and the arrabbiata sauce pasta was good too. The desserts were fantastic especially the mushroom one which we ordered twice. The staff was friendly and helpful and very professional. The only downside were the restrooms which were very very messy and dirty.

Restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere with a terrace. We received a warm welcome. Very pleasant service, the waiter was really friendly and knew his job perfectly. As for the cuisine, everything was delicious, the truffle pasta, the pizza, the veal Milanese... We recommend this Italian restaurant!

Love this place dim lighting sets the tone for a relaxed mood. Food was spot on the carpachio was perfect ! We had Geroge looking after us. Although all the staff were amzeing. But Happy Geroge as we decided to name him was something else .. he was such a lovely person and so jolly.. I understand hes not in a good mood every Mondays so i will see you next Friday Geroge !!!

George from Knightsbridge was AMAZING! The loveliest man with the best customer service, he accommodated all our needs with happiness. We had a lovely Iftar at Harry’s. Good vibes and good food ♥️

My wife and I sat on the pavement tables for two consecutive days. The first for lunch, followed by cigar and coffee. The second just for drinks and coffee. During our two visits we had interactions with about 6 members of staff, from the receptionist at the front, to the waiters both junior and senior. Every single person was extremely friendly, helpful and proactive. The food, drinks ambience and seatings were all excellent. Heaters were turned on, blankets and ashtray offered. Nothing was too much trouble. They seemed genuinely happy for our modest custom. This was in stark contrast to many other chic London establishments, all the more surprising given Harry’s location right outside Harrods.

I knew it would be welcoming when I saw the manager giving his decorators a coffee each. I should've taken a picture because it was beautiful, cooked perfectly, every member of staff was welcoming and friendly start to finish!

Harry's has perfectly captured that old world Italian vibe, and its such a beautiful restaurant. The food was exceptional, and every single dish was perfect. Service was very efficient and staff were great. The only downside was the bathrooms - they clearly had not been serviced for a little while and there was toilet paper absolutely everywhere! Unfortunately this took away from the overall elegance of the place, but we still had a good time.

Good service and food, staff were polite and efficient. The seafood pasta was delicious. The only problem was the windows being open where smoking customers were sat outside, cigar and cigarette smoke was wafting in whilst we were eating, it was a shame.

The location is so awesome. Across from Harrods and you don’t have to fight the mall crowds. The place is cozy and classy. The staff uniform was that velvet green that stuck on my retina for a long time but it worked. It looked the part. The service was swift and professional. They make time to chat with customers. Lovely. The food was Ok and everything is well portioned. If I were doing my errands in Harrods, this would be my to go place for a drink or a meal.

This is an ok place, nothing to go wow for, except it's next door to Harrods. Menu is limited. Good service, food ok, nothing to give you the wow factor. However they charge 13% service charge. The staff DO NOT get this. The company keep it. So I asked for a refund. DO NOT PAY THE SERVICE CHARGE.

Very bad experience with front desk. We checked the website before 10 mins we arrive the restaurant. There wer loads of available tables on the website. Which means we don't need to book. When we arrive there are some empty desks. However the front desk allocated us to sit just in front of the main door. Quite confused. We asked many times can we change to another table. They don't allow us to do so. When we nearly finish, they allocated other two customers sit on that table.

Food is good but we found hair in the mushroom desert. But they got us a new one. Pizza is not that good also. The seafood pasta is delicious!

Visited Harry’s Dolce Vita for breakfast this past weekend and the food was very nice; portions were slightly small but the quality of what was served was very good. The service was friendly and professional but a bit slow. We were left waiting for our bill for quite a while and asked 3 times for it to be dropped to our table to no avail. It was only when we got up and started putting on our jackets that someone came over to the table, presumably thinking we were going to leave without paying. I would visit again but probably not if I was in a rush to go somewhere else afterwards.

Top Italian restaurants with a great vibes serving the best seasonal ingredients. The service and ambience were great as always. The management plays Allegro at all the times. Their Linguine Vongole is outstanding and the best in town. Can’t wait to return for another treat.

Food was not particularly good for the price range. The mushroom risotto was too rich, the ragu bolognese and pizza nothing to call home about. The zucchini was quite dull and oily for my taste, although others at the table liked it. The best out of what we ordered was the seafood pasta and a cheesy bread we got as an entrée. The service was very good, friendly and attentive waiters.

I had the pleasure of dining at Harry’s Dolce Vita in London, invited by my friend Magdalena for a lunch outing on the last day of December. What a delightful idea it turned out to be! The food was truly enjoyable, but the real highlight was the extravagant dessert—it was simply breath taking, like a culinary show. The service was a perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism, and the management of the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. My friend Magdalena made an excellent choice in selecting this restaurant, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Frankly speaking I have been to this place only because of their famous that red mushroom dessert but they do have lovely spaghetti and pasta too . We had our reservations ahead of time but still we didn’t get a nice place to we had our tables just beside the exit door

Great! I loved it, went with my family for a meal tonight and the food was delicious. I had the Pollo Milanese and was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was great, feels really welcoming! Served by Felix and he was great. Good for a bite to eat after a shopping trip at Harrods. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my partner had a fantastic time at Harry’s, we booked a table for Valentine’s Day and were seated immediately, no wait whatsoever. We ordered their special truffle starter pasta, it was sublime. We ordered the spicy prawn starter, very spicy but great flavours! The burrata was creamy and soft, and the bread was to die for. We ordered the parmegano tortellini, the most surprising meal of the night, superb flavours and sweet kick, superb fusion of flavours! Great night and will definitely be coming again!

The worst restaurant in Central London Avoid this place Overpriced Small portions Zero costumer service I found in my food very sharp subject and this thing pierced and wounded my tongue…. after I left very upset and in pain and wrote to the office someone very arrogant called me and tried to explain to me how this was “very small mistake and possibly burn herbs “ He literally downplayed what happened and around five minutes later I was even more upset and disappointed that actually did have serious injury in my mouth and throat and this conversation was not even apologise situation but extremely sad explanations about how small issue is that Pretending that everything is okay and they can’t do anything else about it….. One very disappointed customer

We had an exceptional dinner at Harry’s. It’s right opposite Harrod’s and is in a great location. From the moment we walked through the door, we were looked after by every single person we encountered to a very high standard. The service was impeccable. However, I think the food was even better: every dish was delicious. Special mention has to go to the beef carpaccio and prawns with nduja starters, and Harry’s Special Seafood Spaghetti, all of which were utterly delectable. The desserts, wine and cocktails were all top notch, accompanied by a fabulous ambience. Overall, this was a dinner to die for. We will be back!

My granddaughter recommended this restaurant, having read a few negative reviews I must say I was a tiny bit dubious, I needn't have been from front of house arrival to leaving, the staff were remarkable, the food was second to none, I had carpaccio of beef, succulent, followed by the lemon sole with clams, Dora our waitress made the whole event so special, thank you

Ribeye Steak was rubbery/low quality even though cooked at medium rare. Waiter forgot my drink order and kept me waiting for about 25 minutes.

Great atmosphere beautiful food was spoilt for choice.

The atmosphere is super nice, next to Harrods not difficult to find. The food meets our expectations and the bread basket is a must to try other than the mushroom dessert.

Adequate pasta, decent desserts and appetisers. Atmosphere is OK, and it's not violently overpriced. Honestly though, I make better pasta at home (from scratch), my ragù is richer.

Love their silverware they serve their hot beverages in. Their collection of Tea is outstanding. Great place to relax after dinner for some fun conversations... Nice vibe.

They have good prices for the area and the location is ideal as there is not much good choices in Location but that’s it! Hostesses are some of the worst in London, some of the waiters have a very foul odor. Food is poor and some dishes undercooked. The pizza and some of the starters are good but the rest is tasteless. Go there as a last resort to the extremely overpriced Harrods restaurants.

The food was great. My favourite was fried artichoke hearts. The calamari needed to fry 1-2 min more. The atmosphere and service could be better, though. However, I’ll go again just for the tasty foods.

Ordering a selection of dishes was certainly the best idea. I particularly loved the truffle pasta and would absolute recommend giving this place a try after a bout of shopping in Harrods next door! Our children were planning for a few days, how to surprise us parents for a wedding anniversary, since we are all re-united here in London. They ordered online and request for a special table set-up, such as candle light, or flower / rose panel, or champagne glass…just to make it a bit of “different” feel. The hostess at the entrance welcomed us, and showed us to our reserved table, directly at the entrance. Menus were placed on the table even before we were seated. Nobody took our long coats away and there was nobody to help us with the seating and pulling chairs. First impression: ROUGH. The waiter was quite cold and rude, asking as what we want to drink … without any recommendations whatsoever. Professionally, they should ask for aperitif or cocktail and introduced the restaurant specialty. Nothing. We had to go online and check what other visitors left in terms of comments on social media. Menu recommendations, ZERO. Sort of attitude; What do you want. Aperitif arrived, food ordered, wine ordered. The weird thing was the difference between crystall whiskey tumbler and fancy champagne glass, while the wine glass was so primitive. A bottle of wine cost 80 pounds deserves a much better glass, and the experience would have been different. After clearing the main course, the waiter changed and a more pro-active polite server took over. I mentioned to him, that we ordered special decoration and possibly a special anniversary cake and surprise…when he realized, that we were disappointed. After ordering the mushroom dessert called: Harry’s Toadstool (a signature dish), the manager came over and sort of tried to smoothen the disappointment. It lifted our experience from 2 to 3, but could not make up my expectation. Maybe we are too spoiled by dining in Michelin Star restaurants in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Bangkok and France … price wise 400 Pounds that would be a Michelin star bill for the few dishes we had. The Farwell the same: No one help us with the coats, pull the chairs and the 2 hostesses even did not open the door for us. Ignorant ! Overall, believe the Bar’s location opposite Harrod’s and the spoiled super-rich customer base makes them arrogant and not focusing on offering a value for money experience. Staff are not well trained, inconsistent in customer services and pretty arrogant. One time, NEVER AGAIN for me. Not a place to organize your SPECIAL EVENTS !!! Don’t expect anything fancy.

Location-wise unfortunately not the best for sitting outside, therefore recommend visiting only if a table inside is available. Food I tried was "okay" though not memorable. Dessert was the best part

The wine glass broke 3 times whilst just putting back on the table after sipping when I complained the waiter got arrogant with me and I ordered a £100 bottle of Barolla with my dinner the manager didn’t give a toss and simply said need to be gentle with the glass really ?? I had a table of ten with the bill soaring £600 so disappointed with the service and attitude of the manager but the food was top grade no issues with the chefs never going to dine again as they don’t know how to deliver good customer service they were lucky I didn’t cut a finger with blood flowing then would be a real catastrophe

Rude , unprofessional non considerate restaurant! Plan were made ! With a booking I also came to the hostess an hour earlier to push back my appointment, after I arrived on the booking to my surprise the kitchen is closed!!! Never main we were never informed a head but why the hostess didn’t say anything!!!!! A night been wasted

Food is excellent! We had dinner & lunch there. Our Indian waitor provided us good service. He also recommended us to try truffle pasta. I love truffle pasta, seafoods spaghetti, mixed breads, deep fried calamari, Panfried sole, tagliatelle with beef & seabass dishes. It is difficult to find a good restaurant where all dishes are delicious. Desserts : Tiramisu & Harry special (it has fruits & chocolate filled with ice cream). 🍨 It is a pretty & creative dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a great time at Harry’s. The menu selection was great and the food was very delicious, especially the desserts. The service was not bad but quite infrequent, and we were seated in a very uncomfortable area where waiters had to pass us to go between the kitchen and the main dining area, would not recommend being seated there.

The food and atmosphere was amazing.. staff are very friendly and welcoming.. I actually left a Harrods bag in the restaurant, called them as soon as I realised and they kept it for me.. I called them few days after Xmas and asked them if I paid for the postage could they send to me… they were absolutely amazing.. I didn’t have to pay anything and I received the item promptly.. they were so sweet and wished me a happy new year.. that’s customer service for you!!! I would definitely recommend them.. the food was outstanding.. ( my son is a Michelin star chef, so I know) and service next to nothing.. thanks guys.. happy new year and I will see you soon

My daughter and I visited for the second time last week for part of my Birthday treat. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and the lovely ambience of the whole place. Very reasonably priced given the location in Knightsbridge. Definitely will be back again

I don't write many reviews if I don't like a place I don't go back but I can honestly say this place was the best meal and experience we had of the 3 day stay in London, the reception staff and waiter were polite and welcoming special mention to Leon (hope I have the name right) was amazing and made our evening ,we all had starter of arancini balls which was very tasty, for mains we had spaghetti Bolognese, pizza and parmigiano triangoli all was very tasty, we had the Harry's festive forest for dessert We would definitely go back

Worst reception staff in London, awful ladies. I dont know who does the hiring but it’s awful and very unprofessional. Food: veal is good but usually undercooked. Pastas are tasteless. Pizza are good. Fish are very smelly. Price is relatively not expensive for Knightsbridge.

I had such a wonderful meal here with a friend on Thursday evening. As a life-long Londoner, I've been making an effort to try some new restaurants and this was a winner. Food, drinks and service were impeccable. And the atmosphere was so cosy. I'll be back again for sure.

Food is fine, though I found some of it dry/lacking punchy flavour. Service however was pretty poor. Recommend going if you like to feel like you are inconveniencing the staff. Perhaps if they put their sass in to the food vs. their service, it might have been a higher rating.

Not to mention that when the bill came and we paid, the waiter refused to accept that our card payment was processed and even refused to look at the confirmation on our phone. Shouting hysterical across the shop. Embarrassing and awkward. A very immature and hardly Italian experience. Come here if you want to destroy your night out!
