As a frequent customer I have to say, I always get excellent service and with a smile. Yesterday I needed assistance with dairy free, and Morag couldn't have been more helpful and was knowledgeable on the products. My friend was delighted with her Empire biscuits and myself with the birthday cake. Highly recommend to locals & visitors to Inverness

Was going to write a long review but decided against it. Just want to say that staff at Fairways Harry Gow are the grumpiest and never get your order correct. If they don't shut till 2:00 pm why have they tidied all the sandwich fillings away and make you feel awful asking for them to make one up when they had all the fillings left. Will stick to Crown or Culloden Branch so much friendlier

Ordered 2x ham salad rolls with mayo, got home and no mayo! I know it’s not a huge issue but would have been nice to get what I actually ordered. Some of the staff - not all - but some can be quite rude as well which is a shame

Good local bakery. Supplying the usual bakery options. Disappointing that you make beautiful (healthy) sourdough bread but supply it to shops but can't find it in any of your local shops like fairways.

I honestly wish there was a ratings category. My terrible rating is in response to the shop NOT the food. The food is amazing, fresh and I have never had any complaints regarding it. My issue is the shop! What time is considered lunchtime? There have been multiple occasions when I have gone there, normally around 1pm, and there is no soup left, no fillings that are made up, but most shockingly, NO BREAD! Baring in mind, the shop is open til 3pm! I appreciate that everything is fresh daily and nobody wants waste but running out of bread is ridiculous!

Small but popular Harry Gow's branch so don't always have the range of bakery goods you might want but generally quite respectable if you're able to be there in good time.

We're on a road trip of Scotland, we got there as it was closing on a rainy Monday lunchtime so we took what they had left but it was amazing! My husband says it's the best steak pie he's ever had, I had lentil and bacon soup with a bread roll and it was lovely. The only downside is that we're now heading south west away from where they have shops, gutted!

Had no option of gluten free bread and no alternative. As far as I know there was no GF baking either. I am coeliac and unable to eat gluten. Overall I thought this was pretty poor. However my family had toasties and baking which they enjoyed.

¡Estaba en Escocia en Inverness con mi hija en un torneo de tenis y visité una tienda de Harry Gow donde solía trabajar con David en Puratos! Todo lo que compramos fue excelente, todo parecía excelente? stuart matthews

I use this shop a lot. Probably once every three days. The soup, sandwiches and the variety of cakes is always good. I enjoy the meat and potato pie, hot. It never lasts very long as it’s eaten as soon as I can. You are always served with a smile and I when the shop is busy, you don’t have to wait long to be served. Like all Harry Gow shops the service is good and the shops are always looking clean. This one is my favourite HG and easy to park as it’s by the golf club.

Harry Gow has numerous shops around the highlands of Scotland I have been in quite a few of them and the quality never changes in any of his shops, the service in Fairways is first class a very busy shop.

Good selection of rolls and cakes. Run out very quickly of everything around and just after lunchtime though.

Sorry not able to rate this chip shop if I do it’s a ZERO rate. Yesterday me and my friend each wanted a fish chips and a sausage there was only one man at the counter who was taking orders, getting payments and serving. There were other customers infront of us on the queue and when it came our time to order it seemed the man could not understand our order and I had to repeat twice and for the 3rd time I now pointed the order on the board that was hang on the wall to make things easier for us and for him. Before I even finished pointing the man told us in a loud voice in front of other customers to get out of his shop he needs to serve other customers 😭 we were so embarrassed and at the looks of other customers on the que they were also embarrassed to the point of one group of girls behind us said they can’t be served by search as person they walked away we also walked out. Me and my friend walked out but after stepping out I thought I should tell that man what he did was wrong so I did it but the man did not want me to speak to him he kept on telling me to walk out also telling me he will call the police for me I insisted I was walking away but told him what he did was wrong and if our English was not good enough it is not everyone’s first language I also told him i believe that this happened because we were from a different race as he could have done better but because we were black 😢 We were on a bus tour from Edinburgh this man spoiled our day!! My friend had travelled all the way from Qutar I show her how beautiful Scotland is at the end of it all we did not get any fish chips or sausage but chased out like dogs infront of other customers this man should learn customer relations never again can I go there or refer anyone I am still traumatised by this man actions
